My Camelot

Would you be here?
Hiding in great, long shadows?
Would you stay hidden,
Watching love taking place?

Could you be silent,
When your sounds are quite deafening?
For I know your rage and your
Love interlace.

Do you still wait?
Do you wonder where I've gone?
Simply more easily dealt
In the unknown?

For I see you quite clearly,
Watching forever
To see if I never
Nurture seeds I have sown.

Empty now always
Are sorrow's sad hallways
Praying to something
That never can see.

I wait in the bastion
Of my highest pavillion
No more can you touch me.
No more can we be.

So enter the forest
Riding your soul's steed;
Lance of desire
To pierce through my heart

And walk to my moat's edge
Be ware of the creatures
That lurk in the deep there
To tear you apart.

I'll not lower my drawbridge.
I'll not herald your coming
I know of the devious
Mind that you bring

To overtake my world,
To bring me down quickly.
You'll not see my soul now.
No longer my king.

My archers will guard me.
My knights will protect me
My serfs, even they
Do not cower in view.

For they know my message
Wrapped in forever
Gives new hope to never
Set eyes upon you.

And we shall not starve
For our kingdom's abundantly
Stocked with good wishes
And love, here abounds.

So stay if you must
But you'll not get here to me
You'll not pierce now through me
Your lance of mistrust

Though death will then find
You, and end your existence
Promised resistence
Will not come from me here.

For I know what I should
Have realized forever
Will always mean never
Again knowing fear.

And I live in love now.
And I live in peace now.
And I live in happiness
You could not share

So hide in your shadows
And enter the forests
And find here my kingdom
And know I am there.
