Grace; what a wonderful expression.
It speaks of more than we can understand.
It tells of a Father Who lives in Heaven,
Of His only begotten Son, a sacrifice given.
It reveals the favors God has sent to men,
Even though we can never deserve one of them.
His favor is extended to each and every one,
Though it cost the life of God's only Son.
Grace is the result of love without limit.
It is sent to the world, to all who accept it.
It's a gift without measure
From the almighty Father
Brought to mankind by Jesus our Savior.
Grace; undeserved favor, is a gift from God
Brought to the earth by God's only Son.
It's the expression of His great love,
And not the result of the good we have done.
His love far exceeds the sins of all men.
Now "Grace" is extended to all of mankind.
Whether we accept or reject it
Will determine our eternal abode.
It can give us a life of rapture divine,
Or, if rejected, eternal damnation is ours.
