He alone knows the pain I can bear.
My Lord Jesus knows my weakness and doubt.
Whatever I can't handle, however I care,
He alone knows my heart inside and out.
Sometimes I hurt inside for my own reason,
But He knows that reason and just lets me be.
He knows that pain is only here for a season
And gives me the strength to stand and be free.
Freedom to handle this short life on my own.
Knowing He is beside me all of the way.
It wasn't easy to solve my issues til I was shown
He knew those issues before I faced them that day.
When I begin to grow weary of this rat race,
His Word is there for me to encourage and strengthen.
To learn how to live, to love, and to face
Those problems, to solve and never to lengthen.
My Lord Jesus allows me to grow in His grace.
His love and His strength are always there.
Whenever loneliness or pain comes for me to face,
He alone knows how much I can bear.
He alone knows the love that has built inside.
Our Father above accepts His word for me.
My Jesus can erase all sin, I don't need to hide.
He alone knows me and has set me free.
