Sitting here this morning reading of His life,
I realized He loves me more than a husband his wife.
Now I know how it feels to love so strong,
With an emotion that will never send one wrong.
Yes, I know that we recognize His birth.
God became man and came to earth.
We also know that He took the pain.
He died on the cross and rose again.
But, until now, it never really sank in.
Was just words connected with the word sin.
When one realizes, it becomes reality.
Once it hits the heart, it has honesty.
My heart raced and the tears came.
My pulse quickened for this was no game.
Our Savior, Jesus, is from royalty.
He is the King of Kings, the only authority.
The one to judge who goes to heaven or hell.
He is the only one perfect enough to tell.
We know He came to save us all,
But, not everyone will heed His call.
Please listen to these words well.
Let them sink in so your heart will tell,
How much He really loved you too.
He was God and He died for you.
