When He said, "I will",
He came to earth as a man.
When He said, "I will",
He was the great I AM.
When He said, "I will",
He lowered Himself to be
Just one as the rest of us.
He lived and was tempted same as we.
When He said, "I will"
God the Father gave us The Light.
He was The Word from the beginning.
And came to guide us to His right.
The Word became a man
To show us how to walk with God.
He healed, He saved, He forgave us,
He taught us love without a rod.
Then in the garden while alone,
Jesus asked His Father up above,
If there was another way known.
But said, "I will do Your will" with love.
When that day came, the sky grew dark
The earth shook, then became very still.
The Son of Man, Son of God died on a cross
And the most precious blood ran down that hill.
Did you see the love shining in His eyes?
Where were you when He spoke so true?
Will you accept His gift, will you be that wise?
Remember, Jesus said, "I will", will you?
