When I feel all alone I remember,
He said there would be times like this.
When I toss and turn and cannot slumber
And no one else seems to know that I exist.
Then I will call and my Lord will answer.
I will cry for help and He will say, "I am here".
There's no need to search, no need to wander,
He's been right there waiting, always near.
So many times when I study those around me,
They seem lost or more alone than I.
I do so want to reach out and touch them.
Tell them that Jesus came so we don't have to die.
They would know that all they have to do is pray
If they would only stop, look and listen
But they don't want to look beyond today
Or ask the Father for help, for it is written.
They must ask Jesus into their lives with no delay
Then they can find the land where there is no sorrow.
It is in the Word where all can learn the way,
The way to the beautiful land beyond tomorrow.
There are times that I feel all alone but,
It doesn't take Him long to let me know He's here
Right here watching, waiting for the moment
When I cry out forgetting that He is near.
I'm so glad that I gave my life to Jesus.
He intercedes for me and says that I am His
When I feel alone, it is not just 'me', it is 'us'.
He is there for just such a time as this.
