Oh Pliable Life
funny, it seems...
when I peek at life's secrets. he shows me glimpses of hope,
and some times flashes of despair
not so funny when he squeezes himself dry from my sponge
we all have a tendency to absorb life, whether the nectar be sweet or bitter...
some flowers leak of him, some fine wines pour him. Life can be so transcending!
my thoughts race to a place of security, somewhere high in the realm of reality
he's pretty far and low from secure: in his element or prime,
he is as daunting and maniacal as a twig on the dawn of snapping..
So, immaculately maintaining--- I come full circle. To the stuff of dreams:
the pliable wire to which none conform; a symphonic baseline where peace is born
and solemnly rests.
