Gold And Silver Verion Info

Welcome to Century Nets Silver/Gold version information section. This section will up to date you with the latest news about the Pokemon gold and silver version gameboy games. It will tell you true facts and it will give you a little info on what the difference are between it and the red/blue/yellow version. These facts were taken from game magazines and sneak peak info on the game. Thank you for visiting Century Net. We hope you will return once again

The gold and silver version is much simular to each other. It has over 250 Pokemon including over 100 new ones. The game will let you catch Pokemon with its own gender meaning that each Pokemon will be specified as male or female. You will also be able to search for Pokemon in both night and day. Specific Pokemon will only appear during the night and day. That is the purpose of creating the game to funtion this way. You may also breed each Pokemons kind in order to make new ones. You will be able to trade with the blue, red and yellow versions but the blue, red and yellow versions will not be able to trade with you because the game hasnt been programmed to and because it will not understand. New Pokemon such as Togepi, Marril and Snubble will appear in the gold and silver versions. Different Pokemon will be set in each version making trade be more popular. You will be able to battle both versions. The blue, red and yellow versions will not be able to function correctly because it will not take any of the 100 new Pokemon and so it will only take the 150 currently known ones. The images on the gold and silver versions will be more realistic and improved. The city and town names of the gold and silver versions are Kikyou City, Hiwada Town, Kogane City, Enju City, Tanba City, Asagi City, Choji Town and Fusube City. The gold and silver gym leaders are Hayato, Tsukushi, Akane, Matsuba, Shijima, Makan, Yanagi, Ibuko and an unknown one as well. The 3 starting Pokemon are Waninoko, Hinoarashi and Chikorita. The Pokemon available only in the gold version are Mankey, Primeape, Growlithe, Arcanine, Itomaru, Ariados, Gomazou, Donfan, Guraigaa and Mantain. The Pokemon available only in the silver version are Vulpix, Nintales, Meowth, Persian, Rediba, Redian, Himaguma, Ringuma, Eaamudo and Deribaado. The only Pokemon not available for either versions are Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Kabuto, Kabutops, Omanyte, Omastar, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Mewtwo, Mew and Serebi. Mew and Serebi can only be gotten by a secret Game Shark code since they are rare. The other Pokemon not available in gold and silver must be gotten by trade from the red, blue and yellow versions. Please go to our Game Shark section to recieve the cheats on how to get a Mew or Serebi. There are several evolved forms from the blue, red and yellow versions such as Pikachu which evolves into Pichu, Jigglypuff which evolves into Pupurin and another such as Clefairy which evolves into Pi. There are much more evolutions but we cant give it all away! Pokemon gold and silver were only meant to be a unique sequel to the red and blue versions. But some have accepted it as a new adventure in Pokemon. It has new features such having over 250 Pokemon including over 100 new kinds. Other features are that you will be able to identify a Pokemon gender and play through night and day. Pokemon gold and silver versions will be available somewhere late March or so. It may have a big sell out and so if you want the gold and silver version, be in line first. (More information will be posted once the games will be released so return for more info)
