Episode 18

Episode #18

The episode takes place in Puerto Vista, or Aopulco.
Ash, Pikachu and Brock jump into the water, talking of how the water feels great.
"Hiiiii!" chimes a voice, and they see Misty in a red bikini and great ball float. "And now, the Tomboy Mermaid, Misty is here!"
Ash, Brock, and Pikachu just stare at her, and she asks why they're looking at her like that. They come out of the water and Ash looks at her for a second beofre saying, "Misty, maybe there are some times when you really look like a girl."
She blushes for a second before creaming him with her beach ball and he goes back, flying into the water.

Later, they board a boat and Misty asks Ash how he got it. Saying he saw Brock on the boat, he makes an excuse like "Maybe... Pikachu rented the boat."
Though before anything else can happen, Pikachu sees Team Rocket's mecha-gyarados and crash into it. The boat goes spinning off and crashes into a deck, where an old man comes, scolding them for steeling and crashing his boat.
"Wow, a cute girl!" he exclaims, looking at Misty and she sweat drops.
"Ehh, we'll be happy to work until it pays for the damage," she says but scoots behind Ash and Brock "... I mean- they will!"

Mean while, Team Rocket wakes up from the crash, and sees Obaba- or Nastina in the dub. Seeing that
1. Their mecha-gyarados has been destroyed
2. They're wanted all over the place and Nastina might get them arrested
they offer to work for her.

At Ryuu's Ocean House, Ash, Misty and Brock try getting customers, but fail to. Next to them, they notice that the reason is because Nastina's Beach House is getting more customers. They see that Team Rocket runs the place and gritt their teeth.
Ash sends out his pokemon to help out with the place, and they instantly get more customers to come, making Team Rocket's service go down the gutter.
Squirlte and Pikachu hand out flyers, Pidgeotto cools down the food, Charmander helps cook food with Ryuu, and Misty with Bulbasaur serves as waiters.

Though Team Rocket strike back by blowing away the flyers Pikachu and Squirtle were passing out with fans. They made Misty and Bulbasaur trip on bannana peels when serving food and put gas in the stove so Charmander's flames blew up in his and Ryuu's faces.

Now the customers went back to Nastina's Beach House. Ryuu says how he always wanted to sail across the seven sees, but he owes Nastina money, and if he doesn't have enough, Nastina will take his boat.
Ash tells Ryuu how he shouldn't give up, like he never gives up on pokemon training to become a Pokemon Master.
Brock and Misty agree and say they'll help get the money, but they aren't sure of how. As if on que, Professor Oak comes with Ash's mother, saying it might be possible to get some money by winning the "Puerto Vista Beautiful Girl and Disguised Pokemon Contest".
Misty volenteers to be one of those beautiful girls to enter the contest.

Brock sits at the announcer's table, to, well, announce.
"The Puerto Vista Beach Beautiful Girl and Disguised Pokémon Contest will be starting soon! Which of these lovely creatures has the 'talents' to win the championship prize? Can I have your attention? Let the judging begin!" he says through the microphone.
Before the competition starts, Ash's mother dicides to ask Ash some questions of how he was doing and such. They all sit with the rest of the croud, waiting for the contest to begin.
A fanfare strikes out, meaning the contest is beginning and everybody settles down.
"Well then. Puerto Vista' Beach’s Beautiful Girl and Disguised Pokémon Contest has begun! The first contestant is..." begins Brock and the Misty walks out on stage with a pink and green bikini. The audience cheers loudly for her.
"This young girl is Misty-chan! She may be able to win this one!" says Brock. "And what will her disguised pokemon be...?"
Squirtle, dressed as an alien, appears on top of Starmie which hovvers around as a UFO.
"Squirta-" said Squirtle and sprinkles water over Misty like a fountain and the audience cheers again as she poses.
Though she's booted from the stage by... Jessie and James?
"James, what kind of a man are you?!?" exclaims Misty, surprised because it seems that James is in an orange bikini and yellow skirt tied around his waist, with huge breasts.
"Hmmm? Do I have a man's chest?" he asked.
"Jari-Gaaru, are you trying to obstruct us?" said Jessie.
"She's just jealous," said James and poofed up his fake breasts.
The croud cheers loudly, but Brock tries telling them it's just a trick, although they ignore.
Misty sobs that she's now loosing the competition. James teases Misty by shaking his breasts, saying "In ten years, you'll have these."
"These two are the desirable 'Rocket Reds', in short, heartwarmers. The real question is, what the hell are they trying to pull?!?" asks Brock.
"It's Team Rocket!" exclaims Ash, finally figuring out who they were.

Then, a strange pokemon floats out and the croud wonders what that thing is.
"Is that the legendary Omastar? Who is playing this?" wonders Brock.
He catches the back view of it, and sees that it is Koffing with seaweed over its face with Ekans coiled on its head.
All of a sudden, somebody kicks it off the stage, and the somebody is Gary.
"Whaaa-? Gary?!" exclaims Ash.
Gary, in a Hawaiian-type outfit, is in front of his six cheerleaders all in swimsuits.

Ash scowls, but Brock, being Brock, cheers on for Gary's cheerleaders because they're all so darn pretty in his opinion.
Misty and Team Rocket, who were behind stage become angry at both Gary and Brock (and the audience...). Just then, Nastina pops up and drags Jessie and James off from backstage, saying she knows they're from Team Rocket so they panic.
Though she says that she's repaired their mecha-gyarados and if they can "take care of Ryuu's little event" she'll stop making them work.
Team Rocket get into the submarine and go to the part of the beach in front of the contest, where Ash is trying to pick a fight with Gary.
The mecha-gyarados gets onto the land to the crowd, who then goes balistic thinking it's a real gyarados.
Ash, though, knows it isn't and runs up to the microphone trying to settle everybody down. Misty from the back secretly smiles at him ^-^.
Eventually, the crowd settles down (Prof. Oak and Ash's mom admire how he's handling this), except for Team Rocket, who is furious.
James slams his fist on a red button and a missile shoots out, aiming for him.
"So," says Gary, "This is normal for you?"
"Yeah. It's cool," he replied.
"HAVING MISSILES FIRED AT YOU IS NOT COOL!!!" shouts out Brock.
Ash tosses out his Pidgeotto and Charmander. Pidgeotto grasps onto Charmander and flys towards the missile as Ash orders Charmander to use his flamethrower attack (or something like that...). The missile reverses its target, and aims for Team Rocket. They peddel furiously, trying to get to a safe place, and run towards Nastina's Beach House. There, she's waving her arms trying to get them to go the other way. The mecha-gyarados crashes into the beach house along with the missile and everything explodes.
Team Rocket then goes "blasting off again" along with Nastina.

Later, Ash, Misty, and Brock say goodbye to Ryuu, who sails off on his newly repaired boat. They return to the beach where Ash's mom and Prof. Oak are standing (Ash's mom with a trophy- did she win?). They say goodbye and leave.
Oak asks her if she wants to join them for a while, but refuses, saying she knows Ash can take care of himself.
