Music!

Peter Gabriel is my absolute favorite musician/singer of all time... always has been always will be *LOL* Ummm.. well, i've decided to just write about my impressions of him on here, cause i'm doubting whether you want to hear about the town he was born in or his mother's maiden name *LOL* Soo...

I was introduced to Peter Gabriel when I was about 9 by my mother... It was love at first... hearing *LOL* What can I say?? You notice how hard it is to describe those emotions which are the strongest?? *L* I feel like i'm in love when I listen to his music. Granted, it's all not fantabulous (Jay - *LMAO*) but that which is is just, I dunno, HEARTBREAKING! *LOL* Wow, i'm sounding like a crazy fantatic, eh? *L* Well, I guess I am, really *L* Soooo... well, I don't want to bore you uncontrolably, so i'll piss off now *LOL* But, really I seriously suggest that if you've never heard any of his music, or dislike him, just pick up a copy of Passion (the soundtrack for 'The Last Temptation of Christ', which he did the music for. And which also happens to be my favorite movie of all time *LMAO*) and turn all the lights off. Just sit in the dark and listen - you'll know what i'm on about *LOL* Or, just listen to 'Digging in the Dirt' and WHOOOO BABY! Say no more, say no more *LMAO*

Tori Amos... I love this woman's music because she writes interesting, beautiful lyrics, has a fantastic voice and writes beautiful music... all around, I think she's pretty damn great *LOL*

I know alot of people dislike Tori's music because some of it is quite controvertial, and she does write alot of lyrics which are quite anti-religion... She had a really unhappy childhood, which kinda warped her view of not only the church, but of religion and God... Her music is very angry (well, alot of it is) and there is a great deal of bitterness to it... Despite this, though, I really respect her musical talents and so, I have to say, I just love her music.

Well, I don't want to dwaddle on and be boring, so i'll leave this here, and just say (if you care *LOL*) that my favorite song is... 'Precious Things'... there's a little bit of useless info about me *LOL* Ok, bye for now!
