Cheats
Get all 3 starter Pokémon:
What you need: Two Gameboys (Gameboy #1 and #2), two copies of Pokémon Blue or Red, and a Game Link
This is hard to explain, but I'll do my best. Hook up the two Gameboys, and each start a new game. The person with Gameboy #2 will catch 2 Rattatas, and the Gameboy #1 will pick a different starter than #2. #2 will trade the 2 Rattatas for the starters that they are missing. Now #2 saves the game and starts a new one, and #1 starts a new game. #2 will get a different starter than #1, and trade it for a Rattata, Gameboy #2 does NOT save their game at this point. Start another new game, get the last starter that #1 needs, and trade it. Now both Gameboys should have all 3 starter Pokémon.
Infinite Items
This comes in handy for items like Master Balls, Rare Candy and Moon Stones, of which you have very few. Put the item you want to clone into the 6th space in your items list. Next fly to Viridian City and talk to the man who shows you how to catch a Weedle, and get him to demonstrate. Immediately after, fly to Cinnibar Island, and Surf along the right coast until you encounter a Missingno or a no-name Pokémon. Defeat it or run away, and your 6th item will be cloned.
Catch a Missingno
Use the same cheat as the Infinite Items code, but capture the Missingno you see instead of defeating it or running away. It works, but having a Missingno can mess up your game's graphics. Simply release the Pokémon to get graphics to normal if you encounter this difficulty.
Use an Invisible Computer
This is actually pretty funny. When you reach Celadon City, there will be a small hotel in the southern part of town. Go into the hotel, and stand in the place where a computer would be at any normal Pokémon Center. Press A, and the computer list will come up!
Stand on a Bush
Use your Cut HM to Cut down a small bush, then stand in the place where the bush was, save your game, and quit. When you turn it back on, you're standing on the bush!
