Hey hey! Yup, that's me, Erin. I have one confession. I'm a ballet nerd. I've come to terms with my ballet nerdness though, so its ok. I'm part of the Mid-Columbia Ballet (also known as the Mid-Columbia Buffet, haha) and I've been in a ton of ballets. Two years ago I went to the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. Very scary place, Mississippi. Last summer I was in Carlisle, Pennsylvania starting my summer training with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. That was for 5 weeks. Then I stayed there for another 2 weeks for the Craft of Choreography Conference as a dancer on FULL SCHOLARSHIP. (HOLY CRAP YESSSS!!!!!) This summer I'm in New York! Living in my own apartment, and working a devilish 30 hour dance schedual! I'll be back sometime in August, that is, unless they have me stay on in the Company! Yay!
Another part of my life is music. This last year I was in the RHS Chamber Choir (FINALLY)! I was reunited with my choir buddies! I have a copy of me singing a solo in Sister Act, which is rather full of hilariousity, if anyone cares to hear, but probably not...Hmmm....what else...Well these past couple of years I've done some modeling, and I'll hopefully get some pictures up. Umm...I draw a little bit, some sketches, and I do some writing also. I will be documenting my summer and all those thoughts, so I'll put those up here!
I might possibly have the widest range of musical tastes. I love old swing style/jazzy music (ie Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble, quite the foxes). Classical music, electric string quartets and such, Vanessa Mae, dancey type music, show tunes, older rock (mostly the Rolling Stones and the Eagles, they rock), newer rock, Billy Joel (dunno what category he is), so pretty much everything except heavy metal and hardcore country.
Random stuff:
"Stroll around and look sexy, ask annoying questions, in general get on everyone's nerves. All those things that come naturally to you." ~ Joe Morelli from the Stephanie Plum series
Read all of the Stephanie Plum novels, they are a kick in the pants!
NOTE: If anyone wants to get a hold of Erin this summer I have her address and phone number. Email me, and I'll get it to you as well!
