Smash Brothers Melee   | Date: July 13
In Japan, people are getting a look at Super Smash Brothers Melee when they go to the theater to see Pokemon 4! It is said that the clip shows off a few Pokemon that will be in the game. So that's good news to know. So hopefully Nintendo will have more Pokemon besides Pikachu and Jigglypuff in the game. I will keep you posted if I hear any further news.

Heoruko Card!   | Date: July 13
Japan has made a promo card of another one now. And that lucky Pokemon is Heoruko! Heoruko was the whale Pokemon. It has a Basic Water card, which means if you thought it was an evolution of a Pokemon, sorry but it's not.

Nintendo has opened their Pokemon Crystal website at www.pokemoncrystal.com
To celebrate, Nintendo has the "Ruins of Alph Sweepstakes" located on their new site. The lucky winner will get a trip to sunny Cancun, Mexico (don't drink the water) and will get to explore some ancient Mayan ruins.

Japanese Pokemon Sales Chart   | Date: July 9
Here is how well Pokemon games are doing in Japan at the moment. Pokemon Crystal is the 8th best selling game for the week ending on July 1st. Pokemon Crystal has sold an amazing 19,160 copies that week and has sold a total of 1,606,717 copies since it was released. Pokemon Stadium Gold/Silver is number 15th. It sold 18,640 copies. Making its total 653,917 copies since it was released. Pokemon seems to be doing well, lets hope it moves up in future weeks.

IGN has found pictures of some trophies that will be in the game Super Smash Brothers: Melee, which will be released this November. There is a trophy of Celebi and a giant picture of Trophies including: Misty, Chansey, Marill, Blastoise, and more! As to what these trophies do hasn't been announced yet.

5th Movie!?   | Date: July 8
Yesterday in Japan the 4th movie was released in theaters. There was indeed a teaser in the ending credits for what very well be a 5th movie. It could very well star many new Pokemon that have yet to be seen from "Pokemon Advance" or "Pokemon Cubed".

Some VS Information   | Date: July 6
the official TCG site released some information today about some rules about the new VS cards and current cards since the backs are different. Apparently you can play with both of them at the same time using a "mixed deck rule".
It says that you take 30 cards from the VS series (the decks that are being released have 30 cards in them), and then 10 energy cards, 10 trainer cards, and 10 pokemon cards from the original series.
