NOTE: some of these are trick questions.1) If there are five apples and you take away three, how many do you have? 2) There are five girls, five apples, and a basket. Each girl takes one apple, yet there is still an apple in the basket. How was this managed? 3) There was a large family, and they were going to have pancakes for breakfast. However, someone in the family ate all of them. The syrup bottle was empty, too, and some syrup was spilled on the table. How will the mom tell who ate the pancakes?
