Catch A Mew
Catch 149 Pokémon (all but Mewtwo) in either the Red or Blue game using no cheats, then beat the Elite Four.
Catch Mewtwo in the cave near Cerulean City.
Fly to the Cinnabar Island, and go into the PokéCenter.
Release Mewtwo with full health and after using him in NO battles, so he doesn't gain any experience points.
Save. This is very important.
Go to Viridian City and find the old man who first taught you how to catch Pokémon. He will tell you he found your Pokémon. He will give back Mewtwo and give you a Mew he found.Home
