Why that Pic: Cuz it's cute and not from any eppisode in general. He's got a cute butt don't he? *giggle*
Personal Opinion: For awhile I really despised Ash, I thought he was annoying and stupid and a crappy trainer. I still do, but now I find these traits of his endearing. He's got good points too, like how loyal and friendly he is to everyone he meets, he even tries being nice to Gary on several occassions!! And you can tell he really admires Gary, even non-ShiShi fans have to admit to that. Just look at the Digglet eppisode. Besides, the guy's got a gorgeous boyfriend to go with everything else! ;)
While he is still far from my favourite character, he's making his way up the list pretty quickly. I doubt he'll ever be able to break my top three though.
<--I thought that fit Ash pretty well. Does any one agree or I am alone on this opinion too?

Personal Opinion: EEEEE!!!!! My fave Pokemon character and pretty damn high on my list of all time fave anime characters. I just can't stand his dubbed voice, I think that's his only flaw. Yea right, he's egotistical, arrogant, a total jerk to Ash most of the time...but that's why I adore him. Growing up, he probably was spoiled rotten or had some real shit happen to him. It probably was his idea for the two boys to become rivals so that brings many fans to the conclusion that he was the first to have 'weird' feeling towards his childhood friend. I dunno though, I haven't formed a soild opinion on who fell for who first...
Anyway, I think Gary gets much less arrogent and rude as the series goes on. By the time Jhoto roles around it's Ash trying to start things and Gary just shrugs him off. AWW! He's growing up!! Now, once Ash hits the maturity level they can start their sweet lil relationship *giggle*

My Opinion on Their Relationship:
I, like many Palletshippers/ShiShi fans, believe that the two boys were good friends growing up but some emotions that lil boys don't handle well came up and they became rivals. The rival idea was mostly Gary's thou but that's only for the anime, cuz in the manga they just kinda have a rival/friendship like normal boys. As for Pokemon Adventures...I really don't know. I haven't read much of it yet, but it's cute!! Mato is sucha great artist.
Damn, I got off topic. So yea, I believe they were once friends and when they are a little older they will sort their blasted feelings out and get together.
