Is Danny Pregnant?
[Gamer's Note: This article was written back when I first started this site, sometime in April 2002. It was posted for a few short days and then removed due to lack of proof and a conscious desire to avoid hurting anyone's feelings. Now that its content is irrelevant, I thought it would be fun to bust it out again. Enjoy.]
As you all know, at least my comrade Longwood(check my link to his "Darkside" on my links page) and I do, that our mutual friend, whom we'll call "Theo", has a longtime girlfriend, whom we'll call "Danny", for the sake of this article.
Now, Longwood and I have a theory that suggests that Danny is secretly pregnant and that Theo isn't spilling the beans. I will present the evidence in an unbiased manner, trying only to reach some truth. I suppose one thing that should be said first is the fact that Theo and Danny are sexually active, that much is known for sure.
I came upon the first clue several weeks ago. Longwood and I were paying our good friend Theo a visit at his apartment. We sat around for awhile, watched TV, etc., and then as I was getting ready to leave I noticed something on his kitchen table. It was a paper with a doctor checkup schedule, listing the different dates(gauged by progress of pregnancy) that an expectant mother should see the doctor during pregnancy. Now, I had some suspiscions at first, but It looked kind of generic and I didn't want to jump to conclusions. After all, Danny is in school to try to become a doctor; it could have been hers from school.
A second clue came in the form of Danny's own dialogue. In a separate situation, as Longwood and I were sitting at Theo's, Danny was there and was talking about her own desires for children. She said that she wanted to have children before she finished college(which she just started). I suggested that that was not such a good idea, and she seemed to not see why. It seemed she had her mind well made up.
Even that isn't really enough to convince me, but a third event made me really wonder. Longwood was at Theo's just last week, and revealed to me that Danny was home. She was bringing in some kind of baby toy or similar contraband. I wasn't there, so I can't say for sure, but an event like that, added to the previous evidence, really suggests something.
There we have the bulk of the evidence of the theory. We do not know anything for sure, but we will definitely find the answer in time(say, about 8-9 months or less). For now, we will just be content pondering the questions and their potential answers and consequences.
IS DANNY PREGNANT?!?
