Pokémon Beyond #251
By: Mlu

At a Nintendo Press conference in Japan around August of 2001, a spokesman stated that the following new characters would be part of a new Pokémon world for the Game Boy Advance. We only have the Japanese names as of now; the American names probably will not be released until closer to the release of the game in the US. We still do not know how many new Pokémon will surface.
Because of this, we wonder: What is in store for our little Eevee?

Muriri
( moo-lee-lee )

This Pokémon is possibly the pre-evolution of Marill and will most likely use Water Energy in the Trading Card Game. Muriri would then fall into the Aquamouse family.

Kakureon
( kah-koo-leh-oh-n )

This is a Chameleon-type Pokémon that can become invisible or blend into the background when it needs to. In the Trading Card Game, this little green guy will most likely use Grass energy.

Hoeruko
( hoe-eh-loo-coe)

This is a whale-type Pokémon That will most likely use Water energy in the Trading Card Game. Some people believe that it may be the evolution to Harisen, known in English as Quilfish.

Balbeet

This is a new Grass/Bug type Pokémon, judging by its looks.

Balbeet

latias

Rateiasu
(lah-teh-ee-ahs)

A new legendary bird; it has sort of like a Native American flair to it. One of two to appear in the 5th Pokémon movie.

Soonanu

Obviously a prevolution to Soonansu, aka Wobbuffet.

A Dark-type Pokémon.
