Backstage With MTV's 2Gether

We loved their TV movie, dug their video (for U+Me=Us), and are now super psyched to watch their new series premiering in August on MTV. Get to know the actors who comprise the (fake) boyband known as 2Gether.

WHO HE IS AND WHO HE PLAYS
Evan Farmer, 27.
He plays: Jerry, a total hottie, and the fearless leader of the group.

How are you like/unlike your character? "I'm very responsible, very intense, and I play my character as being very goal oriented. But Jerry will work crazy horus to get something right, and I don't necessarily do that."

What's the best thing about being in a boy band? "I was in a boy band in Russia and we worked a ton! But for 2Gether we do just enough to keep up the image of a boy band, so it's different. But I love meeting all the fans."

Who's your boy band role model? "Donnie or Mark Wahlberg...whoever was in New Kids on the Block."

WHO HE IS AND WHO HE PLAYS
Kevin Farley, 35
He plays: Doug. He's sorta old and balding, but he's a heck of a good guy.

How are you like/unlike your character? "I'm a lot like him, in the fact that I believe Doug is a very optimistic guy, and at times his ideas get him into trouble. I've always got these crazy ideas, too."

What's the best thing about being in a boy band? "I would say the concerts, the live performances. That's a lot of a fun. It's a big rush."

Who's your boy band role model? "Let's see...Justin Timberlake. He's the only name I know."

WHO HE IS AND WHO HE PLAYS
Noah Bastian, 20
He plays: Chad, Doug's brother and "the shy one." Not the sharpest knife in the kitchen.

How are you like/unlike your character? "I'm like my character in a lot of ways, because I'm immature. But I'm not like my character, hopefully, in the brains area because he's not really smart at all."

What's the best thing about being in a boy band? "I like all the free food, that's really cool. During the last nine months living in LA as an out-of-work actor, I only ate Top Ramen noodles."

Who's your boy band role model? "I met Howie from BSB and he was really cool. BSB is where it all started for the new boy band generation."

WHO HE IS AND WHO HE PLAYS
Alex Solowitz, 20.
He plays: Mickey, "the rebel." He acts tough and is sorta street.

How are you like/unlike your character? "In real life, if I had to be labeled as a type, I would probably be the rebel, bad boy."

What's the best thing about being in a boy band? "The appreciation of the music. When people say, 'You did a really good jpb,' it means a lot. And I get to sing! I love to sing."

Who's your boy band role model? "Probably 98º because I think they're the best all-around singers."

WHO HE IS AND WHO HE PLAYS
Michael Cuccione, 15
He plays: QT, the adorable youngest member of the group.

How are you like/unlike your character? "I'm 15, so I'm fairly girl crazy, like QT. But other than that, I'm fairly different."

What's the best thing about being in a boy band? "Being able, sing and dance. Those are the things I love doing. Plus, we're getting paid to do it - bonus!"

Who is your boy band role model? "I respect all of the boy band member because now I know how much work really goes into it. It's not all fun and games."
