Full name: Noah Dale Bastian (a.k.a. Chad Linus, the Sea-Doo-loving, Star Wars-quoting "Shy One" of MTV's boy band spoof "2Gether")
Birthdate: August 26, 1979 (Virgo)
Hometown: Salt Lake City, Utah (born in San Jose, California and now lives in Los Angeles)
Status: (And we quote) "Totally single right now"
Last great movie he saw: "Girl, Interrupted"
Fave TV show: Will & Grace
Fave actor: Josh Hartnett (In fact, super sweet Noah gives props to his fellow actor by saying he thinks Josh is gonna be a huge star.)
Fave actress: Angelina Jolie
Fave band: Rage Against the Machine
Britney or Christina? "Definitely Britney! I met her before '2Gether' came out, and she's one of the nicest people I've ever met. No matter what she's doing, how busy she is, she just acts like she's happy to meet you." (Hmmm, are we picking up on a little somethin' somethin' here . . . )

Secret celeb crush: A tie between Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie. (That's what we thought!)

Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync?: "Recently, I've liked 'N Sync's music more, but I like the Backstreet Boys too."

Does he really own a Sea-Doo?: "No, but I think they owe me one after the movie!" Noah laughs. "I do actually love riding them, and after we finished the movie, I got the chance to ride them in Puerto Rico in the ocean and it was very cool."

Chad Linus' signature dance move is the Roger Rabbit, what's Noah's?: "I used to take ballroom dancing," he says. "But I guess my favorite is swing. I took that for nine years."

Typical night out: Going to a friend's house and watching a movie. (Noah says he isn't into the whole club scene. "Sometimes it's fun, but I don't like to be treated like scum by the bouncers. It's all about who you are and who you know, and you have to wait in line for hours. And I just donāt like that. It bugs me. I'd just rather sit around with my friends and hang out than go to a club and get treated like crap.")

HE'S HEAVENLY ALRIGHT

So how did cutie Noah get started in acting? We'll let him tell the story: "When I was five or six I got asked to do a play called 'The Littlest Angel'. I had really blonde hair and blue eyes and, I don't know, I don't wanna say, 'oh yeah, I looked like an angel' . . . " (Editor's note: O.K., we'll say it! He does!). "Anyway, I got bitten by the acting bug during the curtain call, with the attention I got, and I just thought 'hey, this is cool, I think I'm gonna do this'."

LIFE IMITATING ART

It all started as a playful spoof of the whole boy band craze, but MTV's "2Gether" has become one of the bands they'd originally set out to "gently nudge," as Noah says. "It first hit us one day when we appeared on 'TRL'. When we left the studio, all these girls had signs and posters, and we originally thought MTV had planted them, but they hadn't! It was real, and they just mobbed us! Everyone wanted to take a picture with us and it was cool. All of a sudden it was like we had turned into this real boy band."

LUKE SKYWALKER DIGS HIM

Noah's psyched about lots of things "2Gether's" success has brought him: great new friends (the band members, who were recently signed to do a series that will pick up where the movie left off, have become good buds in real life, too); the chance to work with "video king" Nigel Dick, who directed the movie and is responsible for videos from Britney, Vitamin C, Mandy Moore, BSB, Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias; and meeting Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars movies. "I actually met Mark Hamill at a "2Gether" party and he came up to me and said 'I really dug all the Stars Wars stuff' in the movie. I was like 'Wow! Luke Skywalker!'," Noah says.

ABOUT ALL THAT "SHY ONE" BUSINESS . . .

His "2Gether" alter ego may be considered bashful, however, Noah is anything but. Just ask Carson Daly. "When we were on TRL, Carson said 'Here's Noah and he plays the shy one, but he's the furthest thing from that.' My mom is very outgoing, and I'm like her," says Noah, who has two brothers and two sisters (he's the fourth child). "She's one of those people who's very outgoing and will strike up a conversation with anybody. And that's the way I am."

ONE MORE THING YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MOM . . .

Noah confides that someone calling herself his mom has recently been corresponding with some of his fans in the Yahoo! clubs that have been set up for him. And though some Web citizens have been skeptical, he's giving us the real scoop: "They seem to love when she posts, but she also gets a lot of backlash too, like a lot of girls going on there and saying she's lying. So I want to clear that up: it IS really my mom!"
