(8/7/01, 5 p.m. ET) -- Aaron Carter's sophomore Jive Records set Oh Aaron came out Tuesday (August 7) and the 13-year-old singer took time out from touring to autograph copies of the new album for hundreds of fans at a Kmart in New York City. Carter told LAUNCH that he was glad that the album was finally available, "It's exciting. I'm really happy about it, and I'm kind of nervous to see what the results will be."

LAUNCH asked the teen singing sensation what he would like to let his fans know about the follow-up to his 2000 effort, Aaron's Party (Come Get It). "I would tell them that it's a little more mature than the last one, but it's just me and it's my same voice," he said. "Nothing's changed--all the same producers and writers did it."

Carter is currently in the middle of a tour with Swedish teen sensations the A-Teens, his sister Leslie Carter, and with his brother, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, who has performed with Aaron on select dates. Aaron told LAUNCH, "It just makes it a lot more fun to tour with my brother and sister because I'm very close with both of them." The tour stops today (August 8) at Kahunaville in Wilmington, Delaware.
