(Katrillion) -- The Backstreet Boys promised to donate $10,000 of ticket sales from their Wednesday show in Raleigh, N.C., to help victims and families affected by the World Trade Center and Pentagon tragedies.

The band's donation helps kick off the ClearChannel.com Relief Fund. All donations collected during the entertainment company's efforts will go to the American Red Cross, as well as related police and fire department funds.

Tuesday's terrorist attacks hit close to the touring Backstreet Boys, the Canadian Press reports. A crew member on their Black and Blue tour was a passenger on one of the hijacked planes.

Daniel Lee, a carpenter, was reportedly traveling from Boston to Los Angeles to visit his pregnant wife.

If you'd like to help families like Daniel Lee's by donating to the ClearChannel.com Relief Fund, visit the website for more details.
