You know him as heartthrob Jerry O'Keefe, but what keeps Evan so 2gether?
favorite boy band other than 2gether: 'Nsync. You can be really good at what you do, but if you don't love it, it shows. They look like they love it.
favorite pastime: I love to skydive. It's as close to flying [as you can get], and I wanted to be a pilot. I would have gone in to the airforce if my eyesight were better.
favorite part of having been in the Russian pop group Na-Na: The were [like] 2gether, but the real deal. They made their name making fun of themselves.
It's hard work [being in a boy band]. There's a lot of singing, dancing, touring- and a lot of people telling you what to do.
favorite star woe: I was talking to this bald guy with a powerful voice. He says, "I'm working on Shakespeare," and I'm like, "I'll have to see
it"- like I'm doing him a favor. Someone literally came up to me and said, "That's [Star Trek: The Next Generation's] Captain Picard." It was Patrick Stewart!
I felt like such an idiot.
Favorite fan moment: One girl got my unlisted phone number. She left a message, "This is so-and-so from five years back, how are you?" She left her message, [but only] six digits. She never called back.
Second-favorite fan moment: I was on the subway, and this girl was staring at me, going, "Oh, my God!" The girl passed out. Her brother caught her.
Favorite thing about the 2gether show: It's going to be funny, if not funnier [than the movie]. There are some things designed to show our range as singers, but it's an in-your-face comedy. (MTV, Tuesdays at 10:30 PM)
