What a coincidence! Issue 10 comes out on April 10! Ahhh...it's the little things in life. Updates

1.

Kevin Farley (Doug) and his brother, John, make appearances in David Spade's new movie, Joe Dirt, which opens Wednesday, April 11th. As reported in People (4/16/01, p148), casting Chris Farley's brothers in the movie was difficult for David, who hadn't seen the siblings since Chris' drug-overdose-induced death in 1997. "They remind me so much of Chris in their inflections and delivery," said Spade. "It was just too hard for me to deal with. I guess what they say about time healing you is true."

The Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" series is taking place throughout US cities from now until November. All info about the races can be found at www.raceforthecure.com. The Susan G. I am getting Jerry, Mickey, Chad, and Doug dolls through a nice woman who works at my local Kohls and has offered to order out-of-state for me. If you get a chance to speak with a Kohls toys representative, he/she may be able to do the same for you. Below is the information that the Kohls representative will request from you for two stores that are stocking the above listed dolls. 2G dolls, although hard to find, are being sold at select Kohls locations by a company called Play Along Toys (playalongtoys.com). Although the company is somewhat tied right now concerning where they can distribute, rumour has it that they may also be sold at Target, KB, Toys-R-Us, and Walmart in the future, so harrass your local branches! At $11-17 a pop, they're well worth it.

Michael (QT) dolls are VERY difficult to find, although they ARE being sold, so you might want to call your local Kohl's on a regular basis. New shipments come in 4-5 times a week on weekdays.

"Is Paramount interested in filming a movie based on Michael Cuccione's life?" If they are, David Hasselhoff has reportedly offered to produce its filming in LA. "Did Michael record a few songs before January that may be edited by Nigel Dick and the guys of 2Ge+her, then released?" Alex and Kevin have publically verified that Michael did leave a few solo recordings which Nigel and the guys may remix and sell with all proceeds going to charity. "Will Noah (Chad) be featured in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives?" I haven't heard anything lately about this one, but rumour has it that Noah has auditioned for and received a lead role in a new WB series and a starring role in a new Disney Movie called Web Girl. In addition, Alex (Mickey) has reportedly been asked to host a new MTV series called The Band which will supposedly air after TRL on certain days of the week. No other news is available at this time regarding these shows. Of course, Alex also still has his band, Liquid Zu. Stay tuned...

According to some chick on a message board (what a reliable source!), Alex Solowitz (Mickey) reportedly told her to send some mail to MTV and request their continued support of 2Ge+her. Hey...it couldn't hurt. If nothing else, write these addresses with a calm request to eventually see the final episode. "As understanding and devoted fans, we deserve it."
