NEW!

Evan finally broke his silence last "2sday."  Wanna here what he had to say?  No need to visit evanfarmer.cc's guestbook; here's the message in its entirety!

09/18/01 11:35:39 PM

What is your name?                 Evan Farmer

Where are you from?               Still here in Los Angeles

Any comments about the site?              Hey there everyone,

Well, it seems like I've written too many of these types of messages lately, but once again we have all be dealt another tragedy to get through... First of all I want to say to all of you who have been directly affected by this horrible tragedy on Sept 11th, that my heart goes out to you, your families, and your friends. I too have suffered a great loss on this occasion both directly and in the sense of having everything I have taken for granted about our way of life literally blown up in front of me. My heart also goes out to everyone else, as I can't fathom anyone not feeling a deep sense of loss and suffering at this time. I guess the second thing I wanted to do was tell you a little of what I've been up to... As I actually sit here and type I was scheduled to be shooting a "thriller" film in New York, which has now been postponed until the spring for obvious reasons. With any luck, it will go smoothly sometime between March and May and hopefully hit theaters in time for next Summer! As of the most recent cast list, it is slated to also star Vinnie Pastore (from the Sopranos) as well as guest appearances from the Rap Artist Nellie and a few other names - depending on availability. I have also begun sorting through several music opportunities, and have come to the conclusion that (for right now) the only way I feel I can continue to do music is to maintain total creative control over its content and production...So I've decided to start my own "mini-label" so-to-speak, and have already hit the studio working on the first of what I hope to be an initial 8 song CD of original and collaborative songs with an extremely talented producer and musician. As I get deeper into this project I will release more details, but for now I intend to make samples of some of the songs as well as a music video available on the web for starters ~ as soon as they are ready (which will be soon I hope)! I also plan on dividing some of the proceeds between a couple of charities that are pertinent at the time. Since there are so many right now that need support, I'll have to do some serious thinking about which ones as the time draws near. I will also be looking to you all to help me decide - as you all play a huge role in my ability to continue supporting much needed causes. I've also taken several meetings with television producers for the mid-season of shows, and will keep you posted when anything develops. Finally I want to again thank you all for the huge pile of letters and cards I have still yet to respond to (I'm working on it!!!) and the continued support I get from you each day. At a time like this, I lean heavy on your kind words and sentiments which are a continuous reminder that I am (at the very least) surrounded by some of the most caring, thoughtful, and gracious people on the planet - not only in the US but by so many from around the world. Thank you!

Evan

NEW!

Hey Zu Fans!  Liquid Zu, Alex's band, had this news to share on LiquidZu.com this week:

-Alex filmed a show called "Next Big Star" last week to promote his band.  The show will be aired on PAX in December.  This will be your first chance to hear a song off of the new album, and although they will not specify whether "ALEX WON or not (wink wink)," the group is traveling to Las Vegas this weekend.

-They will play a show at the "Hard Rock Cafe" in Hollywood on October 18 at 9pm.

-They will be part of the small southern California tour called the "Hollywood Knights Tour" sometime later in October.

-They will play a show at the "Gig" during early November.

-LZ is also trying to plan some shows around the country as well as finish their album, which should be completed soon.

Stay tuned to LiquidZu.com and 2Ge+her 2day for more information as it becomes available.

The Blue Ribbon Project...are you involved yet?  RIBBONS ARE READY FOR DISTRIBUTION!!!

--Each ribbon is only $1.00.  They are to be worn in January, mainly from the fifth to the thirteenth.  All proceeds go directly to The Michael Cuccione Foundation.  Also, a raffle is in the works for whoever buys a ribbon.  More information can be found in the project's update newsletter, to which you can easily subscribe by e-mailing Eryn at ERA83OK@aol.com.

--This fundraiser has been pre-approved by The Michael Cuccione Foundation, and if you'd like to begin a fundraiser, you should also get yours approved, as Gloria Cuccione has recently expressed anger over people taking advantage of Michael's name to score a few bucks.  To do this, you can reach someone from the foundation by calling 1-604-552-2850.  In addition, the Blue Ribbon Project is copyrighted by The Michael Cuccione Foundation and cannot be used by anyone else.  Beware of people using the name that are not associated with Eryn.

--Let me emphasize that anyone can purchase a blue ribbon; they don't need to be a fan of Michael.  Anyone who supports his hopes and dreams can participate in this world-spanning campaign.

--For more information on this project, its leaders, and how you can purchase one of these ribbons "2day," please visit www.michaelsblueribbons.cjb.net.

Would you like a Michael Cuccione T-shirt?  E-mail Ashley (michaelcuccionefoundation@hotmail.com) for a picture.  The shirts are $17 for US residents and $25 in Canada.  They are white, and the sizes of small, medium, large, or extra large.  In addition, she's selling buttons for $.35 that are very similar to those sold at the WBLI summer jam.  To order any of these things, e-mail her with your choice and details, and she'll do the rest!  (Psst...did I mention that all proceeds from these purchases will be going toward The Michael Cuccione Foundation?)

To learn more about Ashley's new brand of clothing, "Blink XiXi," you can also e-mail her.

3.

In order to be on the Liquid Zu Street Team (to help spread fliers/the word and bring the new sound of Alex Solowitz's band to everyone), e-mail liquid_zu@hotmail.com with your name, age, telephone number, address, and "STREET TEAM" in the subject line.  The band will send you lots of LZ goodies (such as CDs, tapes, T-shirts, and stickers) with which you can advertise for them.  In addition, whenever they can, LZ will even put you on VIP lists at concerts and parties.  Take a shot and try it out -- you could be one of LZ's first groupies!

Fact: According to Kelly Lyons (Noah's "maybe-or-maybe-not girlfriend"), Noah is currently signed on to film a movie called "Lady Luck" which is expected to be released in theatres *and* will also be recording a CD to be finished in December.

Fact: Kevin Farley will appear in Touchstone Pictures' "Frank McKlusky, C.I." which is due in theatres in 2002. (Source: cdnow.com)

7.

Want to help with Noah's upcoming solo CD?  Here's a message to 2G2d members from Kelly (Noah's "maybe-or-maybe-not girlfriend") herself!

"You can email me about Noah's voice or the type of music you would like to hear him singing.  We are in pre-production for his solo album, and I would love to get all the input I possibly can from his fans.  I will eventually set up another email account that will go directly to the record company, but for now it can go to me and I'll pass it on."

She'd like comments and suggestions about Noah's voice and music to be sent to her at Lyoness926@aol.com.  Apparently, Noah's also been asking for fans' opinions on what type of music beat/type he should use, so get yourself heard and tell them what you'd like to hear from our boy, Chadwin! (Source: Laura at lauraland@juno.com, Kelly at Lyoness926@aol.com, Priscilla2gether@aol.com)

8.

Want to try ordering "2Ge+her: The Movie" ("Boyband: The Movie" in some areas)?  They're only being sold for a limited time ($10.38 VHS/$13.99 DVD on cdnow.com and $12.98 VHS/$19.98 DVD in stores), so skip over to Tower Records, Media Play, Suncoast, Record Town, Barnes & Noble, Virgin Megastores, Sam Goody, or Blockbuster to order your copy "2day," or surf onto Amazon.com or cdnow.com.

Also, "Anthology of Awesomeness"  is currently available on Amazon.com for $10.36 and can be ordered by Barnes & Noble and Waldenbooks for $12.95 as well.  The book is a 92-page-long paperback about 2Ge+her and is published by Pocket Books and created by 2Ge+her creators Brian and Mark Gunn.  Oh, it kicks butt, too!

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which Evan and his family strongly support, is a charity that funds breast cancer research, recovery, and prevention.  This year, they are sponsoring "Race for the Cure," about which more information can be found at  www.raceforthecure.com.  To make a donation directly to the charity, you can either call 1-800 IM AWARE (1-800-462-9273) or mail it to the following address:

For ways to obtain Noah's autograph, video, or picture CD, Evan's autograph, or Michael's book or CD, e-mail me (subj: What're the Deals?).

Alex Solowitz reportedly told someone to send mail to MTV and request their continued support of 2Ge+her.  Hey...it couldn't hurt.  For the three recommended addresses, e-mail me (subj: Where Can I Write In Support?).

And hey, if you've got a few minutes online, e-mail Lori.Abbott@AllianceAtlantis.com, the television publicity at AllianceAtlantis.com in the UK with your support instead of MTV's e-mail address.  They seem to be more interested in the fans than MTV does!

Jerry's Most Embarrassing Onstage Moment:

One time, we were opening for Lorelei (you all know her, right?), and I asked my girlfriend to marry me, in front of, like, five hundred people.  The guys still make fun of me for it, and, even though I laugh along with them and rib them with embarrassing things that they've done, deep down the thought makes me want to kill myself.  How could I have been so dumb?  Why did no one warn me about what a fool I'd be?  I will NEVER make a mistake like that again.  Never!  I will be strong.  I will not cave in.  I am good I am not bad I am good I am not bad I am good please don't hurt me father.  So, yeah, overall that experience totally sucked eggs!  :)
