I cannot even begin to tell you how psyched I am about the Christmas performances I'll be doing throughout the month of December. For those of you that didn't know about this, I am in a performing group (ensemble) which consists of 16 girls in total.
I just had my first "real" rehearsal from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm today. Due to the junior prom, the rehearsal was shortened. Since I am a senior, I didn't really care. Anyway, for the solo I have in the song "Santa Baby," my teacher is going to put me in this red, sparkling dress with 4 other girls as the backup dancers, whom will pull out guys from the audience. When I first talked to the show assistant, I was only supposed to do the first two verses of the song. But now, it seems like I'm going to have the whole song to myself. (Yeah, my BIG moment!) This is SO exciting and yet nerve-racking at the same time. I've been practicing for hours trying to perfect the song...wish me luck. By the way, I'm going to send a copy of the show to Evan, who is looking very forward to see it. So, MORE STRESS! (Hopefully I won't make a fool of myself in front of Evan! AH!)
