As I am writing this journal entry right now, I realize how thankful I am that the Christmas show rehearsals are finally coming to a closure! The opening show is on this Friday, and so far, we - the Highlights girls and I, have 25+ more performances lined up for December!

Holy Cow! (I rarely use that phrase) On next Monday, we are doing FIVE shows from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm! So don't expect a site update from me until later next week. This Christmas is undoubtedly a Christmas to remember...wow, I really do love performing.
I guess I'll keep you updated with my solo. I have finally had my red dress made, and found the open-toe red shoes my teacher specifically asked for. Though I haven't had the chance to try the dress on, my number is gonna be so awesome! (okay, so I'm bragging a little bit.) Sam, a member of the Highlights, has to be the nicest and sweetest girl! I personally think she has a much better voice than I do (think of Whitney plus Mariah), she keeps telling me how I saved the show! Awe...I'll soon post pics of the entire Highlights group from the X'mas show on the site sometime in Dec. Everyone in the group is simply too adorable! I feel so lucky to be a part of this great crowd.
Lastly, how ironic is it that I am currently sick?! Great, getting sick before the opening show! I think I'll be okay for Friday though. Guess that's everything...
