Anonymous: Friendship and Love are two of the main themes expressed on your second album. What inspired you guys to included these strong themes?
Rachel: I think with the second album we wanted to go a bit older. We had a lot more input into the second album and I don't know...we wanted to express a lot in it really. We're really proud of it.
~*~Shannon from Canada~*~: Hi! I was wondering what u guys do to separate the "stereotyping" of pop bands and make ourselves different than other groups...besides having your own TV show! :)
Rachel: I think all groups are different. I know we're a pop band and people think we're manufactured but we have so much say in what we do musically and on the TV show, basically, we're just being ourselves. We just want to come across as having fun! That's what we do.
Tenille Jackson: Hi S Club 7! I was wondering if you have plans to do some shows in Canada in the future? Canada LOVES S Club!
Rachel: We're off to Toronto...to do MuchMusic, we haven't planned a tour of concerts cause we're doing a U.K. tour next year. Hopefully sometime soon we'll be coming. I love Canada. As far as the show goes, we're going out to L.A. again in December to film the new series. You never know, we could move to Canada.
Debbie G, BC,Canada: What bands/cds are in your cd player?
Rachel: I have so many! I like, Moby, Eminem, I like a lot of R&B stuff, all the pop stuff (*NSync, BSB) a lot of ballads, 60s and 70s stuff. I've got a diverse range of music.
KiNGaDRoK: Who is your favorite famous person you have met since coming to North America?
Rachel: We've met so many great people.....ummm..the thing is we've met loads and loads of people but you never get to sit down and have a proper conversation cause everybody's so busy. I met Bryan Adams, he was really nice. And Tom Jones, was great.
C'Nedra: Who's the biggest pessimist in the group?
Rachel: We're all quite optimistic really. We all have our days when we're not feeling quite right. You have your off days and the days when you're really happy. Nobody's really the biggest pessimist.
Monty Chadsey: What do you miss the most from home..Food?..Family?..Friends? or favorites??
Rachel: I miss my family and my friends, also I miss a good cup of English tea. But Canada does good tea! And my own bed.
Danny: if you guy were all on 'survivor,' who would win?
Rachel: Jon would win cause he's a born survivor. He would win actually!
Maggie Cunningham: If you could come back in time, where would you go and why? Thanks Luv Maggie Cunningham from Ontario Canada!
Rachel: I'd go to the sixties cause I love the music, the clothes, everything. I'd like to go for a couple of days and then come back to this time.
murdles: This is for the girls...you always seem to be in bikini's, doesn't this make you feel uncomfortable?
Rachel: We're always in bikinis cause we're always on a beach. I don't feel uncomfortable no, cause we're on the beach. No, no, it's cool.
KRIS LANE: WOULD YOU ALL (S CLUB 7) CONSIDER WORKING WITH OTHER MUSIC ARTISTS TO BE FEATURED ON FUTURE ALBUMS? example: MARIAH CAREY,JANET,WHITNEY HOUSTON,BOYZ II MEN.
Rachel: That would be fantastic, we'd all really like to. I'd like to work with George Michael and Lionel Ritchie
Linn: What's the strangest thing a fan has ever done for you?
Chrissy: Who is the peace maker in the band?
Jo: Once somebody gave me a picture of their Jack Russell and asked me to put it on my fridge! it was very bizarre. Jo: I don't think there is one. Paul says it's him, Rachel says it's her. I don't think it gets to the point where we need a peacemaker.
Peter O'Keeffe: I have heard rumors about a movie being in the works, when is it planned for?
Jo: Yes, there is going to be a movie next year. We don't know what its about yet, no scripts have been written next. It's going to be something totally different from Miami or LA 7.
Peter O'Keeffe: Its a little freaky, today being Friday the 13th, are you superstitious, and has it ever paid off?
Jo: I am a little bit, not really badly though. I won't walk under a ladder though, don't ask me why.
Debbie G, BC,Canada: Out of all the things you've done in your career, what do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment?
Jo: I think the whole thing - it's been a massive achievement. We won a Brit award in London and that was massive, we were really proud.
Peter O'Keeffe: Jo congratulations on the wedding, when do you plan on getting married?
Jo: Yes, I am engaged and I'm not planning on getting married for a while yet. No dates set yet. Jo: They'll all be invited (S Club)
Celyn Phillips: Hi S Club, especially Bradley. Do any of you surf the net ? P.S, Bradley I love you :)
Jo: HI! I don't know about anybody else. I do, I recently got hooked up and it's quite addictive. I don't think anybody else is really online.
Christine: Why did you guys decide to call yourselves S Club 7?
Peter O'Keeffe: If you ever went solo what kind of music would you be performing?
Jo: Basically, the S doesn't stand for anything, it can stand for anything you want it to stand for. The name S Club 7, S is a good shape, the club cause it's something you can join and the 7 cause there's seven of us. Jo: I don't think we've thought about that yet. Now we're just concentrating on S Club 7.
SclubObsession: I'm obsessed with the SCLUB7, so my question is...name one thing you guys where obsessed about when you where younger.
Jo: Michael Jackson. My whole room was plastered in posters. I wouldn't wait outside his hotel or anything.
Natalie: I heard a rumor that Paul and Tina were leaving. Is it true? Please no! If they are, what will happen? Will you get replacements?
Jo: That was stemmed from something that was said a long time ago. Tina and Paul aren't leaving, they're not going anywhere. It was ages ago.
Christa: What shops do you like to buy your clothes?
Jo: I like Diesel, Miss 60
Machelee Harris: I just wanted to say that I enjoy your show and I wanted to know when you guy are going to tour Canada and when are you to play in Toronto? Also out of all the places you guy have been to which was the best?
Jo: We're doing a U.K. tour next year. There's no dates yet.
Carine: Napster in your opinion is it stealing or just sharing files?
Jo: I don't know much about it. Sorry.
Shelby: Are you guys going to be doing season in England ???
Jo: I'm not sure yet. It's too early to say. But, I'd like to. For now, the next season will be in L.A.
john: if you could pick a quality that you wish you had (ex. tidy) from another member of the band what would it be and from who?
Paul: I'm not tidy! Jo is. More care-free....probably Jon & Hannah are more care-free
KRIS LANE: WILL THERE BE A THIRD ALBUM? take your time, I know you work very hard performing for us.
Paul: Yes, we started recording a couple of tracks already. We don't know how the whole album will take shape but it will have more tracks written by us: some titles: "Never had a dream come true" "High Times"
jimmyb: Were there any problems adjusting to driving the "S Club Car" on the opposite side of the road when you came to North America?
Paul: No, not really, I took the car out for a spin before we started filming just to make sure I'd be o.k. on the other side of the road. I was fine.
shock: Do any of you like video games, own a playstation or Dreamcast or any thing like that? Or do u not have enough time for video games?
Paul: Yeah, I've got a Playstation, I haven't played it for about a year.
deante: are you rich now
Paul: No. More comfortable than I was before but not rich no.
Anna Gabrielle Moss: HAVE YOU GOT ANY AMBITIONS LEFT?
Paul: Yes! I want to write an album of my own, do some movies, some musicals.
I*Love*SClub7: What did you think of Artistic Differences? Do you think all of your other shows are better? I Love SClub7 Go Wild I think it is fantastic! Was it fun to film?
Paul: S Club 7 Go Wild is good. We're actually more ourselves in S Club 7 Go Wild.
Tasha (London): So, have any of you ever been in love? Because you sing about it a lot!
Paul: Yes, I have, at least I thought I was and I still think that I was. I haven't met anyone to prove me different.
Uli: Do you have a girlfriend at the moment?
Paul: No, I don't no. I haven't for a while so I'm free and single and ready to rock. I wouldn't really consider dating a fan cause I wouldn't want to talk about my fan in my spare time and you'd know that person would be a big fan of the band.
Jamie: How does it feel seeing web pages devoted to the band?
Paul: It's mad, it's mad. I haven't seen any of them cause I'm not on the web.
Taylor: Hey Paul! Were you disappointed when you didn't get the part of Anakin? What would have happened if you did get it, would you accept? Would you leave S Club to film? Thanks!
Paul: I don't think I would have been able to. But yeah, obviously I was pretty gutted. The papers said I'd been turned down but I hadn't even been properly approached. It was mentioned to agents here in LA.
Tessa: Hello! Don't you feel weird when you get much younger boys and girls who think they are in love with you?
Paul: Hello! Yes, sometimes because what they see is something on TV and a personality they believe might be you and it's not really you. It's just a job you do. If the opportunity comes to explain yourself, then yeah, I try to explain it. But if you just meet someone and you're being rushed, you don't have the time.
Jenn Orosz: How did you all meet?
Paul: It was a series of auditions and it took about eight months. It was myself, Jon and Hannah at first.
Paul: Me and Hannah had done shows together before though.
Nick: Do you have time to read all your fan mail?
Paul: Yes! Often the ones you read is the stuff you get handed when you do a gig. Yes, I have written back to fans, not all the time though.
E. Vilkay: What sets an S-Club party apart from the other parties?
Paul: There's just lots of noise! Absolute madness.
eim: What's the third album going to be called ?
Paul: I don't know yet, haven't decided. Maybe..."7 in a bed and the little one said"
Rhiannon: Hiya! Anyway I am 18 and a singer/actress/dancer and it seems that everyone is telling me that I need to do something more realistic with my life, but I love what I do. So how did you guys handle when someone told you that you needed to do something else or that you can't do that?
Paul: Then stick at it! Completely! You gotta just keep at it if it's what you want to do. I just loved it too much. When I was younger and when to dance classes a lot of guys laughed at me. But if it's what you want to do you just have to forget all that.
Rachel: What is the most hurtful untrue rumor the press have published about you and how did you get over it?
Paul: There's more people in the band that have had more hurtful stuff (in the band) than myself. You just forget about it cause you know what they said isn't true.
Anonymous: how do you feel knowing that you are now role models?
Paul: You don't really sit back and think about it, you accept the fact that people look up to you but you do what a 23-year-old would do.
PooFuChica: Where would you see yourself in 5 years time?
Paul: That's hard...I don't know, wherever the road leaves. I'd like to be doing my own stuff. I don't know if S Club will go 5 years, we'll take it as far as it will go though.
Hildeke: What is your favourite song, you have ever made?
Paul: Well... My favourite track is "Reach" because it's happy and lively and really, really pop-y.
S Club Bear13: What do you think about the S Club Dolls
Paul: How mad to have a doll of yourself! When in my life did I ever think I'd see a doll of me, it's quite strange! They're all pretty good. I think Bradley's is a good likeness.
Paul: Thank you for logging on, take care! And wherever you are in the world hopefully we'll be seeing you soon.
