"Good." ** Haylie turned in her sleep thinking of the times she was with Kyle. For some reason she thought about him here and there for the past few days. It was worrying her,making her more and more nervous eachtime she thought or saw a visual picture of his face. Or thought of his violent ways. She always tried to try and calm herself down by thinking of Nick,or maybe giving him a ring or just simply walking over to his house and sneaking in his room just for a kiss. Suddenly her eyes opened and she gripped her covers tightly. Her face dripped with sweat and she soon relized she had just had a horrible nightmare. 'Oh no.' She thought in her head,'Oh please God make these horrible thoughts and dreams go away' Finally relizing she wasn't going to bed anytime soon she sat up slowly and turned on the dim night lap on the vanity. All these thoughts,fears and emotions were flooding her mind. She didn't want it to become daylight,where she'd eventually have to go out and face the world and it's people that roamed. Especially the dangerous ones. Haylie thought of what to do,to make her relax or fall asleep,she looked around her room and her eyes finally locked on her drawer. She walked over to the neatly orginized vanity drawer and pulled out a cd player with headphones. 'I'm glad this was in here.' She laughed softly looking inside the cd player to see a Backstreet Boys 'Millennuim' cd. She turned it on number five,which everyone knows as her favorite song,'I Need You Tonight.' Hense her boyfriend DID sing the song afterall. She closed her eyes but then not a minute after re-opened them,she squinted her eyes and looked at her inspirational calender hung up stright across the wall from her,Valentine's Day. It was 3 days away. 'That's when Nick will be back.' She thought hopefully,hoping when he came he would take her in his arms and protect her from her fears. She grinned,Haylie never thought the day would come when she first met Nick that she'd want him to hold her in his arms. She thought anything of that,but now,things changed,and it was all different. A small tear fell down her eye as she finally relized,that she didn't want him back in two days,she wanted him there right then,right there. ** After listening to the same song again over and over Haylie finally closed her heavy eyelids and fell right asleep. Although now she was tired. She wearily walked through the large,open aisles of Wal-Mart searching for snacks,new cds and magazines for the sleep over tonight. She was pretty much excited about it,since her and Christina HADN'T hung out much in the last few weeks. It'd be like old times. Or would it? Would it be different now that they both had boyfriends? Haylie pushed the thoughts away from her and kept on searching for something fun,but on her way to the Game section she stopped dead in her tracks. Backing up her basket,fresh tiny pellets of sweat formed around her forehead,she was getting nervous. It was Kyle,and Brandon. They were hanging out again,and it didn't look to good either..they both looked like they were up to no good.Haylie relized she had to stop this fear,she had ex-boyfriends before,it was simple,it was done,over with,history. But Kyle was different,because he'd make sure you knew it wasn't very OLD history,he'd look at Haylie,staring contently not caring if she even knew. It was almost considered harrasment to her.
