Aaron Carter's Biography

Aaron was born exactly two minutes after his twin, Angel at Tampa General Children's Hospital. When he was six, Aaron started singing. At the tender age of 7, he formed a band called "Dead End", which performed in area libraries and coffee houses. Unfortunately, due to their changing tastes in music, the band split up in 1996. Aaron started singing lessons at "Rock School" where he learned how to sing with a keyboard player there. At that point, Aaron got really focused. He began to concentrate on his music, spending numerous hours with a vocal coach and soon found himself recording his very first single. In March 1997, he had his first real big performance during a special appearance on stage at a concert of the Backstreet Boys in Berlin. It was here that Aaron's recording fate was sealed. An executive from a leading German record label (Edel Record Company) was in the audience and wanted to sign Aaron on the spot. Since then the adorable miniature Nick-look-alike has recorded 3 hit pop singles: "Crush on you" ~ A cover version of The Jets song "Crazy little party girl"~ it was during the making of this video that Aaron first saw snow "I'm Gonna Miss you Forever"~ his first soft love song The first two were performed at several European Backstreet Boys concerts and earned favourable reviews from the critics. Aaron's self titled debut album features those 3 singles as well as "Shake It", which features the Miami group 95 South, "Please don't go girl", a remake of the New Kids on the Block hit, which features Nick on background vocals, and "Ain't that Cute" written by Nick and Brian. The CD "Aaron Carter" was released at the end of 1997 abroad but hit U. S. stores only on June 16, 1998. With a huge following overseas, Aaron's European record company now receives over 1000 fan letters a week. "Surfin' USA" the remake of a Beach Boys tune, was released as a single after the album was. Aaron and BSB were selected to do a very special project, along with many other big names such as Moffatts, N'Sync, Gil, Sqeezer, Touché,The Boyz, and Blümchen. They went by the name "Bravo All Stars" and recorded "Let the Music Heal your Soul" to benefit the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Foundation.
