Conquering America-Aaron Carter

Popstar: How many cities will you hit on this tour?
Aaron: We're doing 26 cities total, and we will be on the road for about 6 weeks.

Popstar: What's the worst thing that's happened to you on this trip?
Aaron: First, my mom took my dog Merlin back to California and that made me sad. Then it rained one time and the water leaked onto my head in the bus, that was pretty bad too.

Popstar: When you reach a venue, what is your routine?
Aaron: I do my own hair, then I pick out the clothes I plan to wear. We have all those on our bus. The only thing I have to do when we get there is go check out the stage before I go on, which I do with my manager.

Popstar: How would you compare American fans with your other fans around the world?
Aaron: They're all great! My Argentia fans are the craziest. They scream and yell a lot more.

Popstar: Wern't you born right here in Tampa?
Aaron: Yeah! I was born in a hospital on an Island. Guess that's why I love the water so much. I surf, love boating, riding my jet ski, fishing and jusg about anything to do with the water.

Popstar: How has your life changed since moving to California?
Aaron: The weather is different from FL, it's not as humid. And there are more opportunities to do television.

Popstar: What kinds of roles would you like to play on TV
Aaron: Oh, I'd like to play someone's little brother on aTV series, maybe a comedy.

Popstar: Anyone special you'd like to act with?

Aaron: I'm not particular, just about anybody. But I'd love to act with Will Smith.

Popstar: What's the best and worst thing about being a star?
Aaron: We'll go with the bad stuff first. The worst thing about being a star is being on the road a lot and missing my family and friends. The best thing would have to be preforming onstage. Yeah, that's cool!

Popstar: Do you create all your own moves onstage or use a choreographer?
Aaron Carter: I do all of my own moves. My dancing is all me. I love to preform on stage, so it comes easy for me.

Popstar: Your brother Nick still lives in Florida. How often do you get to see Nick?
Aaron: Not too much. He's usually on the road a lot. And when he's not, I am.

Popstar: Isn't that tough on you because you're so close to him.
Aaron: Yeah, it's pretty tough sometimes. I miss him a lot. Nick's my best friend.

Popstar: Didn't Nick write one of your songs for you?
Aaron: Yeah. He wrote "Ain't That Cute" along with Brian Littrell. I love singing that song.

Popstar: Are you planning to do another video?
Aaron: Oh, yeah I can't tell you the name of it yet, but it's in the works.

Popstar: What else do you have coming up?
Aaron: I have a new album coming out on Jive Records. With a lot of new songs. That'll give me a chance to tour some more and meet my fans.
