Zoe - Long, shiny black hair, deep emerald green eyes, and olive skin. 5'9" and slender. Celina's room mate at college in Orlando, FL. She's a vampire and can control the weather. Her real parents were killed and she was found in the woods and adopted. Janie - Zoe's real mother. Her and Zoe's father are killed when Zoe is really young. Alexis and James - Zoe's adoption parents. Michael - One of Janie's friends. Leader of the vampires. Has helped raise Zoe and told her everything about herself. Celina - Short, golden blonde hair, baby blue eyes, and lightly tanned. 5'9" with a model figure. She has no idea that Zoe is a vampire. She starts to think that Zoe is different but doesn't really suspect anything. Cole - Tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is Zoe's boyfriend. He is very jealous and doesn't like Zoe with other guys. Eric - Tall, dark, and handsome. Cole's best friend. He falls in love with Celina but his love is forbidden because she's mortal and he's a vampire. Zoe warns him to leave Celina alone and not to change her but will he be able to leave it at that? Nick Carter - He falls in love with Zoe which is a mistake that could mean his life. Kevin Richardson - He suspects something and starts coming too close. Zoe tries unsuccessfully to destroy him. He finds out about Zoe's secret life and gets a big surprise in the mail. On his way to tell the others he meets up with Cole. AJ - Poor, unsuspecting AJ. What could it possibly mean when Zoe bites him and his blood burns her mouth? Howie - He gets caught in the middle of everything when when AJ makes a runaway attempt and drags him along. Brian - Brian learns the true meaning of "nevermore".
