According to Entertainment Tonight, VH1 is having a male version of "Divas Live". It's called "Men Strike Back." And the Boys WILL be present. It'll show on April 18.
You can log on to mtv.com and vote for which single you'd like to be the next one off of the Millennium album. The 3 choices are: Don't Want You Back, The One, and It's Gotta Be You.
The Backstreet Boys sang back up vocals on one of the tracks on Elton John's upcoming album, The Road To El Dorado. The song that they're a part of is called "Friends Never Say Goodbye". The album will be out in stores on March 14.
A.J.'s alter ego, Johnny Suede, was forced to change his name. Since Johnny Suede was the character's name in a movie a couple of years ago that starred Brad Pitt, the name was under copyright and all that other mess. So, Johnny Sued is now Johnny No Name. And there is a small tour for Johnny No Name after the Into The Millennium Tour ends.
On March 20, there will be a live pay-per-view special of the Boys through www.mcy.com.
The Backstreet Boys are posing in their UNDERWEAR on Rolling Stones' January issue. I saw the pix of the cover, and I must say they are...breath-taking!
AJ's solo concert as his alter ego Johnny Suede on his birthday has been sold out. The premier of Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely is on Dec. 31, 1999 after the Top 99 of '99 on MTV.
AJ is holding a Hard Rock Live benefit concert on Jan. 9, 2000 (his 22nd birthday!) for the charity organization, "Save The Music" in Orlando, FL. Tickets are $15 each and I understand that he will be holding this concert as his alter ego Johnny Suede.
The Backstreet Boys received awards for Artist Of The Year, Albums Artist Of The Year, Albums Artist Duo/Group Of The Year, and "Millennium" was recognized as the Album of the Year at the Billboard Music Awards.
