The morning sun was up when the girls got their first call of the day. Yet they were still sleeping. From one side of the bed Evan groaned and slaped Jen in the face with her arm "Get the phone she said" Jen groggly got up and rubbed her eyes, the phone stopped ringing at that moment and she closed her eyes and fell back into her pillows.
They were able to sleep for a couple more hours before a knock on the door woke them up. Jen mumbled from her side of the bed and burried her face deeper into the pillow. Evan grumbled and tried to block out the sound by putting a pillow over her face. But it didn't work. Evan sat up, scratched her head making her hair even messier, stood up, pulled a wedgie that was building up, and went to the door. She reached for the knob and yawned. "Gresome" she said noting her breath was on a dead end scale.
She opened the door, AJ was leaning against the door frame and Nick was against the wall saying "They probably arn't......" He saw Evan and finished "Home" They began to give Evan an over all look, She looked at both of them, scrathed her head again and walked the couple of feet, to get back into bed. She burried her face into the pillow and within seconds she was back asleep.
"Yo, Nicky" AJ said "you work that side, "he said pointing to Jen "and I'll work this side" he finished walking over to Evan.
By this time Jen was on her side with her face sticking out. Nick pulled the blankets away from her face and began to use his index finger to stroke the bridge of her nose. She smiled and started to speak without opening her eyes. "I'll tell ya, if you could do that for me each morning you'd do wonders" Nick lauged.
By this time AJ was literally jumping on Evan, and she was speaking "geeeeeettttt, ooooooofffff, meeeeeeee" she was saying.
Nick looked at his watch. It was only 10, the girls had only had 4 and a half hours sleep.
"Yo, AJ, wanna leave em alone for another couple of hours and we can come back." Nick asked
"yeah, lets go get some chow." he answered.
When they left the girls just couldn't get back to sleep. "I'm gonna kill AJ" Evan said .
"I'm gonna kiss Nick" Jen said touching her nose. The girls burst out laughing. I got first dibbs on the shower Jen called as she raced for the bathroom.
"No fair" Evan called still sitting on the bed.
When Jen got out of the shower Evan entered the steamy bathroom. "This stuff is toxic" Evan called as she closed the door.
Jen started to look arond the room for some clothes but remembered that they didn't have any. So while Evan was in the shower, Jen got on a pair of dirty clothes and walked down to the lobby. She talked to the manager who said that he would get everything ready for them that afternoon, but in the meantime he said they were more then welcome to get their share of clothing from the hotel store. So that's what Jen did. She picked out a few for her and a few for Evan, making sure to include some beach wear and a couple pairs of shoes. When she got up to the room Evan was sitting on the bed. "I miss my clothes" She said. "Do you still miss your clothes?" Jen asked holding out her new purchases
"What clothes?" Evan asked dazzled by Jen's choice of clothes.
The dressed in thier bathing suits, and put a pair or shorts over them. Then they headed for the resteraunt to get some breakfast.
Jen ordered hamburgers for breakfast seeing that it was almost lunch. After that they headed for the store again to purchace some bags and towels for the beach. They also picked out some sunglasses fit for the ossasion.
They sat in the lobby waiting for the guys to return. While they waited they chatted away about how perfect the guys were.
Evan saw them coming in the door so she shushed Jen 'Their coming" she said.
They walked over to them, Nick asked "So you guys wanna do something with us today?" he smiled. Jen stood up and Evan followed. "Yes," They both said "We're going to the beach"
They started to walk to the door when AJ called "Well it isn't that far, so...." he paused and the girls turned to him, then him and Nick called "Race ya"
"No fair" The girls turned to each other then dashed off to catch up.
Now at the beach, They were still racing to get to the deserted area, and the girls were winning, up until AJ and Nick decided to tackle them. They rolled around on the sand trying to get free from the guys grasps, finally once they were lose. They sat down breathing hard. "The winna's" Evan smiled. And the girls 'hi-fived' each other.
They took off their shorts and raced for the water. "Last one in's a rotten egg" Jen shouted and her and Evan raced for the water. Leaving the guys behind to take off their shoes, socks and shirts. "Now that isn't fair" AJ said to Nick who was racing for the water.
When Nick got in he swam after Jen who was swimming farther away from Nick. Obvously on purpose. AJ on the other hand was picking up Evan and throwing her into the water as far as he could. Nick finally caught up to Jen and they swam back to the shore. They sat on the beach and talked. By this time the girls were almost dry, When Aj announced "Nick and I are gonna get something to drink, you girls want something?"
"Anything" Evan said
"As long as it's cold" Jen put in.
As the two girls lay on their backs soaking in the sun, they talked about how nice it was to finally have something in their lives to look forward to. About 10 minutes later Nick leaned over Jen.
"Excuse me" She said "you're blocking the sun"
"My fault" Nick said not moving.
AJ stepped over Evan, she tried to sound as rude as possible when she said "Can you block out the sun anymore?"
"ha ha, that's a good one" AJ laughed.
He looked over to Nick who nodded.
"What are you guys up to?" Jen asked
"I don't like the looks on their faces" Evan said to Jen.
"I don't know about you, but I think we should start running" Jen said standing up fast. And right she was. Nick and AJ pulled out huge water guns, they started to soak the girls as they ran off.
"How come guys aren't ever fair?" Evan screamed to Jen as she ran away from AJ
"Because they don't know what the word means" Jen squealed as AJ and Nick both turned to squirt her, for her comment.
"Oh come on, this isn't at all fair, we have noting to defend our selves" Evan screamed as AJ turned back to squirt her.
"Maybe we do" Jen said as she raced over to the rock where the guys wallets were. She picked up Nicks and tossed AJ's to Evan. They both ran as fast as they could to the beach shop leaving two confussed guys behind. They obviously didn't realize that the girls had taken their wallets.
Now at the beach shop, Evan started to search through AJs wallet.
"What are we gonna buy anyways?" Evan asked Jen who was scanning the shelves.
"Something expensive" Jen giggled and Evan gasped. "Chill girlie, I'll pay him back" Evan laughed and went back to looking through AJ's wallet.
"Oh my God, look at this" Evan gasped and showed Jen AJ's driver licence. "This is a prison photo" She giggled and replaced the photo.
"Oh my God, Jen there here" Evan giggled and pointed toward the entrence. They ducked down and started to crawl along the floor. Jen saw a huge 'super soaker' on a lower shelf so she took one for her and handed one to Evan. Then they crawled along to the check out and picked up two t-sirts and bucket hats to go with them. When they finished paying, they looked around and saw the guys near the back of the store. They quickly put on the t-shirts and stuffed their hair under the hats and stood up and walked from the store.
They ran to the nearest washroom to fill up the guns, then ran back to their spot on the beach. Took off their hats and t-shirts, hid them behind a rock. Then burried their guns in the sand. They sat down beside them waiting for the guys to return. They made sure to put the wallets back too.
When the guys returned, guns in hand, they scrathed their heads,
"Where did you two go?" Nick asked sounding confused.
"The washroom" Jen answered.
"With our wallets?" Aj asked raising his eye brow.
"For toilet paper" Evan giggled
Nick and AJ's eyes went wide.
"Just kidding" Evan laughed.
The guys raised their guns to squirt the girls, but the girls were faster, they stuck their hands in the sand and gripped their guns, ready to fire at the next moving object.
"Holy Shit" Nick gasped.
"Those are huge" AJ said looking at his little squirt gun.
**INSIDE NOTE*** I meant the water guns
Jen started to lower her gun, as did the guys, "what say we call a truce?" Jen asked looking right at Nick.
"Yeah sure," He said smiling sticking out his hand for her to shake, and she waited for Aj to do the same. Evan took AJ's hand.
"Naw" Jen and Evan both laughed. They they raised their guns and started a water war, Girl vs. guys.
That was a war that seemed to go on forever. No one won. They lasted until sundown, often jumping in the water to fill up their guns.
When they were too tired to go on, they all collapsed on the beach, AJ and Evan sharing a towel and Nick and Jen doing the same.
"What say we do that again" Evan asked out of breath.
"Yeah," Jen cheered. Then laughed. The guys looked shocked. "Don't you guys ever give up?" Aj asked.
"Naw" The two girls said. They sat and talked as they watched the sun go down. After a while everything went silent. Until AJ broke into it by saying
"By the way, where did you two get the guns?"
"yeah," Nick agreed "Where did you get the money."
The girls giggled nervoisly and stood up, picked up their things and started to race down the beach back to the hotel. When they got to the front doors of the hotel. They turned to look back.
"Dude, guys are slow" Evan said turning back to walk into the hotel.
They stopped at the desk, where the manager gave them their messages and their cheques that included money from, their stolen items, their destroyed clothes, their hotel gurentee, their money back from their hotel room, and for their plane tickets back home.
After sorting everything out with the manager they headed back to their room. But what they didn't know was that they were in for a surprise..
**INSIDE NOTE*** I know what you're gonna say, all these surprises are gonna get someone killed. But I mean really people... think reality, please.
They opened the door to the room and as soon as they did they were attacked by a ton of silly string. Jen reached for the light. When she turned it on, there were Brian, Nick, Howie, Kevin and AJ all holding spray cans of silly string. And Jen and Evan were being attacked.
Laughing all the while. Jen made her way from the crowd and locked herself into the bathroom. laughing hard.
She closed her eyes and leaned against the door. She heard the sound of the toliet flush and she spun around fast.
"Having fun?" Nick asked looking a bit embarrased Jen groaned and looked at the ground. Nick walked over to the sink and washed his hands and splashed his face with water.
"Sorry" Jen spoke
"you didn't know I was in here" he finished for her, "it's my own fault I left the door open" he said Jen looked down. She heard shouts and screams of excitment coming from the bed room and told Nick "I guess we should get out there" he didn't say anything, Jen turned to open the bathroom door. "It's stuck" She said sounding paniced.
She could feel Nicks presence behind her. She turned to face him to ask him to help when his lips met hers, shocked and starled she began to kiss him back. There was a knock on the door, "Jen ya in there?" Evan's voice said.
Jen pulled away from Nick and looked him in the eyes, he smiled his cute crooked smile. She turned toward the door to speak through it to Evan. "Ev, the doors stuck" She said.
Evan turned the knob and opened the door "What did you say?" She asked Jen.
"Never mind" Jen said walking from the room. She didn't say anything to Nick, she was too shocked from her encounter with his lips. Nick walked past her and out the door of her room.
"Nicky where ya going man?" Brian asked him and followed him. The other guys got up and AJ walked over to Evan "It's been real" he said and placed a soft little kiss on her lips. Then smiled and walked out the door. Leaving a stunned Evan standing in the middle of the room. With a huge grin on her face.
**INSIDE NOTE*** Yes, Jen walked in on Nick when he was going to the bathroom, and No, she didn't see anything.
Later that Night Jen was sitting on the bed, remembering how Nick had left in such a hurry. She knew he was mad at her, but still she was confussed. Evan was in the bathroom getting ready to go to McDonalds with AJ who had called and asked both, but Jen turned down the offer so that AJ and Evan could be alone. Besides she didn't feel at all like hanging around AJ when he probably knew what Nick was mad at. When Evan came out of the bathroom she twirled for Jen to see what she was wearing. A pair of tight jeans and a cute black baby tee with the words "suck face" on it. Her hair was down with tiny butterfly clips holding back certin pieces.
"You look very imature" Jen said smiling.
"Thank you, and you look sad" Evan laughed Jen forced a smile and looked at her watch. "Evan you better run, AJ will be here any minute" Evan giggled and waved to her friend from the door and headed down to the lobby.
After Evan had left Jen felt upset, she didn't know what it was, but what had happened between Nick and her had really hurt her, did she say something wrong? Did she not say anything? Was she a bad kisser? Did Nick really like her? There was a million questions rushing through her head. She did know one thing though. That she didn't want to sit in a little hotel room. She she got up and went to the front desk and left a message for Evan incase she came looking for her.
She walked the mile to the beach and climbed the rocks to sit uptop and watch the tide roll in. It was an hour before Jen realized how cold it was getting out. She still didn't move from her spot though. There were foot steps below but she figured that it was just someone walking by.
"You know you'll get stuck up here when the tide rolls in" She turned her head to see Nick. She quickly wiped a tear that had fallen. She didn't want anyone to know that she had been crying, especially him.
"yeah it doesn't matter to me though" She said.
Nick sat down beside her, "Can we talk, and I mean really talk?" he asked
she nodded not trusting her voice.
"I'm sorry for the way I left like that." he started "I guess I just expected you to reply to me or something"
She nodded again and listened to him "I mean, when I kissed you, I guess I expected something, like a smile" he said.
"I know," Jen started "I'm sorry, It just that I wasn't expecting it, I didn't know how to act on it"
"Yeah" Nick said. "I guess it's okay now though" he said to her.
She nodded and looked at him. "I did enjoy it though" she said.
"While it lasted" he added.
Then Nick took her face in his hands and kissed her tenderly. This time neither one of them pulled away.
Meanwhile AJ was driving around trying to find a McDonalds. Evan sat in the pasenger side of the car singing along with the radio. They pulled into the parking lot of Micky Ds and Aj came to open the door for Evan who giggled and asked "If this is just for McDonalds, what do I get for the prom?" she said jokingly
"Well babe" AJ said "If you'd care to find out, it can be arranged" he smiled.
Evan giggled again. They entered the resteraunt and found a quiet booth in the back. AJ left to get the food while Evan sat and fiddled with her fingers. She was too nervous to eat so she ordered a hamburger, small fries and small drink. While AJ went for overload. You can probably guess what he ordered. After they got their food, they sat and ate and talked. AJ got to know more about Evan. And Evan got to know the AJ that the world had yet to find out. AJ's cell phone rang interrupting their conversation, while AJ was chatting away on the phone, Evan excused her self to go to the bathroom. When she was alone in the closed room, she giggled. She was so happy. When she finished, she returned to the table and found AJ looking grim.
"What's up" she asked him
"I think we may have to finish our date and conversation another time" he said
"How come?" Evan asked still standing beside the table.
"Because Kevin, just called an emergancy meeting" he said standing beside her.
"Come on, I'll drive you to the hotel" Evan smiled, at least their date went on for a few more minutes.
As soon as AJ pulled up in front of the hotel Evan reached for the door handle. "I had a great time" she smiled and shifted to the side to get out of the car.
"Wait" AJ said grabbing her arm and pulled her closer to him. "You forgot someting" he told her. And with that his lips touched hers, and they kissed with passion.
When she finally got out of the car and AJ had rode off, she squealed loudly and giggled, bobbing her head as she walked into the hotel, egnoring the stares from the other guests, as she made her way to the room she shared with Jen.
She pushed open the door to the room and entered as if she were a breeze. She saw Jen sitting on the bed already with the biggest smile on her face. Evan raced to the mirror in the bathroom... "How can it be?" she asked sounding alarmed "How can your smile be bigger than mine?"
"oh I don't know" jen spoke. "perhaps I had a wonderful evening myself"
"Did Nick come over with pizza?" Evan asked sitting beside her friend obviously waiting for all the juicy details.
"Oh, as if" Jen retorted
"You mean he didn't come over?" Evan looked confussed.
"Duh" Jen spoke "I mean he came looking for me when I went to the beach"
"Oh my God" Evan giggled "Please tell me everything and don't skip the good parts like you sometimes do" she said
"Ev, get a life" Jen laughed but proceded to tell Evan everything that had happened that night with her and Nick right down to the part where he was called away.
Then after Jen had finished telling Evan about her night, Evan went right ahead and told Jen about her and AJ's night out. A little later that night both girls sat by the phone waiting for it to ring.
"AJ promised to call" Evan giggled
"So did Nick" Jen sighed.
Then the phone rang, "I can't answer that" Evan said. "What if it is for me, I don't wanna sound anxious, so you answer it"
"I can't either" Jen said. "It could be for me" Both groaned. "I have an idea" Evan smiled and walked into the hallway and pulled the next passing guest into the room. "Hi" Evan said to the person, who was a confussed looking guy "Can you please answer that phone for us?" she said
"Oh boy friends" he laughed and picked up the phone.
"Yeah, uh huh. Right. Okay. bye bye" he said.
"That's it?" Jen asked.
"yeah it was room service saying your order will be up in 10 minutes, chio" he said and left the room.
"We need a life" Jen and Evan both said at the same time.
Their food came up to the room, they had ordered some vegtables and fruit because they didn't want to be pigging out if the guys called. They were watching "She's all that" With freddie prinze jr. When the phone rang.
"I'll get it" Jen said forgetting that it could be Nick for her.
"Hello," jen asked "okay hold on" she said and handed the phone to Evan.
Evan giggled under her breath. "Hi" she said in a dreamy voice.
"What are you doing?" AJ asked her.
"Watching a movie" she told him
Evan took a bite of the dill pickle that she was holding, and there was a crunch.
"What was that?" AJ asked
"I'm eating a pickle" she told him "It's nice and yummy"
There was a dial tone, "AJ, AJ, are you there?" Evan's voice said. She started to look for a lose connection on the phone cord.
"He hung up on me" she bawled.
Jen laughed from her position on the bed, "That's what you get for telling AJ you were eating a pickle."
"Oh no" Evan sighed and dropped on the bed, and finished her pickle.
**INSIDE NOTE*** I mean dill pickles, nothing more then the food.
Later that Night, the girls fell asleep while watching tv, both of them had chocolate over their faces. They had left the hotel door unlocked not realizing. So anyone could get in, and I do mean anyone.
They woke up when sunlight spilled over their faces, Jen opened her eyes to see a single white rose in front of her. She sat up and smelled it, there was a note attached to the stem. But she didn't read it right away.
She looked beside her to Evan who had a red rose in front of her. Jen tapped her and she opened her eyes. "Wow" she said when she saw it.
She sat up beside Jen and they both read their notes outloud.
"Jen, I had the most wonderful time, I'm sorry to leave you only a note for when you wake up, you looked so peaceful sleeping, so I didn't want to wake you. They guys and us were called away for a couple of days, but I promise to call from wherever we end up, to end off this note I would say those three little words but I would be affraid that I would scare you away. For now all I have to say is I care about you more then you'll ever know. Love always Nick"
"Awww," Evan said "That almost made me cry"
"Me too" Jen said.
"My turn" Evan announced.
"Dearest Evan. I was going to write you a poem but realized there wasn't enough time to write all the words I want to say to and about you. I know McDonalds wasn't a romantic date, I promise you one day I will make it up to you. But all in all I had a great time, just being with you makes any date worth while. You're someone special to me, and there will always be a place in my heart for you. I am hoping one day you'll feel the same why. As Jen may have already told you, from the note that Nick left her, we were called away for a couple of days. But when I come back, I'll be coming to you. And that's a promise. Love ya: AJ"
"Now that's what I call a love letter" Evan smiled
"Ev, AJ could write the words 'I hate you' and still youd think it was romantic"
"Damn straight" Evan burst out "Coming from AJ, anything is romantic"
The both laughed and put the roses in water and put the notes under their pillows for safe keeping.
"Let's go for a walk" Evan said.
"What about showering" Jen asked
"It can wait" she said "I wanna go now"
"Fine" Jen said "Can we at least change?"
Evan thought for a minute "Um, okay"
Now they were walking down the beach, it was really hot out so there wern't too many people on the beach, they were all at home in their air conditioned houses. But Jen and Evan loved the weather.
"Look at that house" Jen said "It's beautiful"
"Yeah," Evan said "It's for rent"
With that they both looked at each other. They had money, and they had a lot of it. They didn't need to buy anything else with the money they had because the hotel offered them 'free everything' no charge. With the money that they had gotten from their room, the pent house. They had more then enough money. So they walked up the stairs to the door of the house. there was a sign in the door saying "open house" so they walked right in. A real estate woman met them at the door. She looked at them from head to toe. "Can I help you?" she asked
"yes," Evan said "We'd like to see the house, please give us a tour"
Both girls knew that the woman thought they were too young to have a house, and also that they didn't have enough money. But they refused to leave no matter what she said.
"Um, well then" the woman said "right this way, by the way my name is Theresa"
She showed them around the house which was fully furnished and newly painted. There were two bedrooms but each room had two beds. There were 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a game room, large entertainment room and a small dinning room. After they had seen it all the woman spoke "I'm sure your parents would love this place"
Both girls giggled. Then looked at each other. And said at the same time "We'll take it"
"Don't you wanna know how much it is?" the woman looked shocked.
"Not really" Evan said. "But if you got the digits write em down"
So the woman did and both girls looked at the piece of paper.
"Do you accept cash?" Jen asked and Theresa looked as if she may have a heart attack.
"Um, Ah, well you'll have to fill out a few forms" Theresa said leading the way to the dinning room table.
"Cool" Evan said as she signed her name over and over on a number of papers.
"So when can we move in?" Evan asked Theresa, who was still shocked.
"Anytime" She said after all the papers were signed and the money had been handed over. She gave them each a set of keys. "I guess this place is yours" she said looking around and collecting her belongings. "Have fun" she said and walked out the door. The two girls squealed and ran around their new house.
Later in the day, Jen and Evan were talking a walk to the grocery store when they saw a group of girls huddled in a corner. They walked over to them to see what was going on.
"What's happening?" Evan asked.
"The backstreet boys are in there" one of the girls said.
"huh?" Jen and Evan looked at each other.
Then Nick walked out of the house towards a car. The fans started to scream. Jen and Evan pushed their way to the front of the crowd. And were pressed up against a fence. There were a lot of security guards there so they wern't able to pass. Jen and Evan did their best to get Nick's attention. They screamed as loud as they could. Finally he saw them and hurried over to them.
"What are you guys doing here?" Nick asked.
"Suffocating" Jen and Evan screamed.
"Oh" Nick said looking allarmed. "I'll help you climb over"
So he helped them over Evan first since she was taller, then Jen. When Jen was over Nick gave her a huge kiss right in front of the fans.
"I thought you were leaving" Jen said
"Actually we are, our plane was delayed this morning so were leaving in a few hours." he answered AJ walked out of the house and Evan bounded over to him and gave him a kiss. "Wow, now that's what I call making an enterance" he said
"AJ, you were exiting" Evan corrected him.
"Whatever" he said and kissed her again.
By this time some of the fans were crying, a lot of them were taking pictures of the boys while they stood outside waiting for the other three. Finally when Howie, Kevin, and Brian walked out they were ready to leave.
"You guys wanna ride back to the hotel?" Nick asked
"No" Jen and Evan both said
"No?" AJ asked.
"We wanna ride back to our house." Evan smiled.
"What do you mean 'your house'?" Nick asked
So Jen and Evan quickly explained what they had done. The only down side was that Nick and AJ didn't have time to come inside with them and look around. They were in a hurry to get the the airport. So they left the two girls standing on their door step and waved to them as they drove off.
"Oh Shit" Jen said stammping her foot.
"What???" Evan asked.
"We forgot the grocerys" Jen announced.
Then they both started to walk in the direction of the grocery store again.
Later that night they were decided to unpack. They had gone back to the hotel and done some more shopping at the store there. They told the hotel manager that they had found another place to stay. He had said that they were welcome back anytime and that they wanted, because they were now known as special customers and they would never have to pay for anything there. That was the perk, the down side was that they were affraid of staying there after what happened.
A couple weeks had past, Evan and Jen only got to see AJ and Nick a couple times in those weeks because of their busy scedule. But at least they saw them. The girls spent their days away from AJ and Nick, on the beach, shopping, or having a girls night out. Which was exactly what they were gonna do tonight. They headed for the food mart down the road. Now they were scanning the isles looking for junk food.
"You want Nachos, or doritos?" Jen asked Evan.
"Both" Evan called from the other side of the shelf.
"What about Pop or Juice?" Jen asked
"Both" Evan giggled "What about you, do you want licorice or sour keys?" she asked holding up a bag over the shelf for her friend to see,
"Um, both" Jen called.
"Okay" Evan said "Now for chips, BBQ or Regular?"
"One of Each kind" Jen said making it easier. Evan poked her head over the top giving Jen a weird look.
Jen shrugged and said "Well if we don't eat them tonight at least we have them"
"True" Evan said and started to stuff her cart with just about anything she could get her hands on. Jen stopped in front of the magazine shelf and noticed a head line on 'superteen' magazine that caught her eye 'meet the two new bsb girls' was what it read under a photo of the boys.
"I hope someone isn't playing the field" Jen mumbled under her breath and started to flip through pages.
she came to the page she was looking for and there in clear color were pictures of her and Evan with AJ and Nick.
She gasped she couldn't breath. Evan came around to her and started to ask her "what about movies?" But then realized the look on her friends face. She took the magazine from Jen's hands and started to read but then noticed the pictures. Her mouth fell open in awe.
Jen started to pick up copies of the other magazines on the shelf. 'bop,' bb,' 'tigerbeat' when she was done she had about 10 magazines in her hand. They took all their purchases to the counter. When they were done they had about 30 bags to carry back to the house and they still had to buy movies and ice cream.
"When were done getting the movies and ice cream, we'll call a cab" Jen said to Evan who nodded in agreement.
Jen and Evan decided to go next door and get a couple of movies and leave their bags in the food store until they came back.
So now in the video store they decided on "Never been kissed". "Face Off". "Scream 1, 2 and 3" and "I know what you did last summer 1 and 2" not to forget "The Mummy" They paid for their rentals and went over to the food store to get ice cream. While Jen did that Evan called a cab.
Jen decided on getting 6 quarts of ice cream since she'd read that ice cream was good to deal with depression. Evan totally agreed with her After their cab had dropped them off, they went into the house to start to unload the groceries. They didn't have any real food in their house, every night they ordered take out instead. And tonight they were going for "taco bell"
After the groceries were all away, Jen and Evan sat down on the couch to read through the magazines.
"When I said one day our names would make us famous, I didn't mean it like this" Jen laughed.
"I know, at least we won't have to worry about people bugging us at ou home like the guys do" Evan laughed then her face fell "Then how come people know where we live?" She asked.
"What do ya mean?" Jen asked
"Our address is in the magazine" Evan groaned and threw the copy of 'bravo' to Jen.
"Oh shit" Jen sighed. and looked out the windows. "We'll figure out something" she said
"Oh yeah right" Evan said allowed and put down the other magazine she was reading
"What?" Jen asked
"This magazine says were 15 and 16" she laughed.
"Are you serious?" Jen asked
"Totally" Evan smiled
"It's nice to be young" Jen giggled.
They went through all the magazines and when they were done they noted all the wrongful things that they said about them. Besides their ages, there was height, and the fact that they said they were attending high school in FL. "Wrong" Jen and Evan had both said.
"How come they get all these things wrong, but they get our address right?" Evan asked.
"I dunno" Jen said.
Later in the day Evan and Jen decided to go swimming, (That's right they had their own pool) There was only a little fence around the area, and it was see through. They girls were laughing and splashing in the pool when someone started to take pictures. They looked over to the fence to see 5 or 6 girls standing there. Jen got out of the pool and grabbed a towel. She wrapped it around herself while she walked toward the fence.
"Can I help you?" Jen asked smiling, the girls looked in the ages of 12-14.
"Are you a backstreet boys girl friend?" one of the younger girls asked
"Um, yeah" Jen smiled. "I'm Jen, that's Evan" she said pointing to Evan who was still in the pool watching over the edge
"Are you the one whos 16 and going out with AJ?" another girl asked
"Oh no," jen said smiling, "I'm 19 and dating Nick" she said "Evan is 18, and dating AJ" jen said again pointing to evan. Who smiled and waved at them. Jen looked at the girls who looked as if they were gonna die from the heat. "hold on a sec." Jen said walking over to Evan and whispering to her. Evan agreed and got out of the pool. Jen walked back over to the fence and asked the girls "Do you wanna come swimming?" The girls smiled and nodded with agreement. "One condition, you have to call your parents and tell them where you are:" she finished. The girls nodded again.
"Okay" Jen said "go around to the front door, and I'll meet you there" she said.
She met the girls at the front door and showed them in, they looked around in amazment. "Have a seat on the couch" she said pointing. She grabbed the phone and handed it to the first person on the couch "Dial, talk and pass it along" she said.
Evan came in and walked into a closet, and came out with her arms full of pool toys. She nodded and walked through the back door again.
After everyone had called their parents, two were sent home because they didn't want their daughters with strangers. That left Jen and Evan to watch after 3 of them. Who could only stay for an hour and a half each.
As soon as everyone was ready, Jen sent them out to the pool. While she went to the fridge and got some sodas for all of them.
After an hour and a half of trashing and splashing the girls were on their way home.
"I don't know about you" said Evan while helping Jen put the toys away 'But I think we have our own group of fans"
Jen laughed "I hope they remember how nice we were" she said "I don't want them saying we were mean people" Hey," Evan winked "Only I would say that about us" They went inside and changed and then sat down to watch movies. Half way through the first movie Evan announced "I'm hungry"
Jen picked up the phone and handed it to Evan "Get something to eat"
Evan smiled at the phone "Our own personal fridge" Jen laughed, and Evan dialed the number for taco bell which was on speed dial.
After the movie was over their food arrived and they began to watch their second movie. Still after all those tacos neither of them was full so they each took out a quart of Vanilla ice cream, big spoons and began to eat, depressed from being away from AJ and Nick.
"This is the life" Evan said speaking with her mouth full of ice cream
"Don't I know it" Jen replied.
And so that's what they did all night. Or up until they couldn't anymore. Someone or Something was about to put a stop to all their fun.
It was getting later, Evan and Jen had called AJ and Nick, but they were really busy so they couldn't talk. They were in the middle of watching "Scream" when something crashed their party.
**INSIDE NOTE*** Sorry this isn't supposed to sound like a horror movie
They were in the middle of a scary scene in the movie they hugged their popcorn bowls closer to them. All of a sudden the lights went off, the tv as well. Evan screamed. "I thought the bad stuff only happens in movies" she shreaked.
Jen stood up and walked to the window... The waves of the ocean were lapping against the rocks and the shore furiosly.
Lightning flashed and thunder shook, it seemed to be a sudden storm. But it was bad. Evan came up behind Jen and spoke "Wow, we don't get storms like this back home" she said scaring Jen making her jump.
"God Evan, think much?" Jen asked walking closer to the window.
There was a flash of light, and then a fork of lightning hit the beach below them. Making both of them run far from the window.
"I'll get a flash light" Evan said rushing for the kitchen but going in the direction of the dinning room. She obviously couldn't see anything. There was another flash of light and Jen saw the figure of someone out side of the window. Just then Evan came in the room and saw another figure on the opposite side of the house. She screamed. Making Jen scream. The door started to open and Jen and Evan stood still on the spot. Two dark figures entered the room wet from the rain that was now pelting out side. Jen and Evan screamed.
"Geez you guys are wimps" came a fimiluar voice
"AJ" Evan said panting "How dare you" she ran over to him and gave him a hug.
"What about me?" Nick said taking off his hat and walking toward Jen.
"Not until you apoligize for scaring the shit out of us" jen said crossing her arms
"yeah" Evan said pulling away from AJ and crossing her arms
"Fine" Nick said smiling "I'm sorry"
Jen pulled him into her arms and hugged him.
As for AJ I think he liked to torment Evan. "Hell AJ, you're welcome to scare me anytime" she laughed and kissed him.
They sat down on the couch and waited for the power to come back on. But the storm was getting worse.
"Don't you guys have candles or something?" Nick asked
"Nope" Evan told him "We just moved in, we have next to nothing"
"Well you sure have junk food" Aj said scanning the table in front of him that was full of chips and pop and candy.
Aj started to eat some of the food when Evan slapped his hand. "Excuse me" she said
"Can I help you?" AJ mummbled with his mouth full of chips
"Those are ours" Evan told him
AJ looked at the chip he was holding "I don't see your name on them" he replied smiling.
"Crap AJ you're impossible" Evan retorted
"Yeah and that's why you love me" he said
"Damn right" Evan said

"Good luck" AJ said Nick giggled
"Chio" Evan said not taking her eyes off AJ She started to go up stairs. Carfully feeling the side of the wall for suport. She sighed. "No lights, I'll be lucky if I don't break my neck" she mummbled. She found her way into the bed room. And made her way to the closet. Carfully she scanned the clothes looking for her pj's. She pulled out what she thought was he silk pj's and started to tug them on. She looked toward the door, which was open. She saw a figure standing there which made her gasp. Then she realized it was Nick. She quickly pulled up her pants.
"Sorry" he said "But those two down there are very annoying"
"It's okay" Jen smiled "What are they doing?"
"Tickleing each other" he laughed. Jen laughed back. "Can you turn around for a sec?" She asked Nick
"Ah phooey you're no fun" he said turning around the other way
Jen quickly put on her pj top "Okay," she said "You can turn back around"
Jen yawned, making Nick yawn. "Hey no fair" he said "Keep it to yourself"
They laughed. Jen sat on the bed, "I think I'm gonna go to sleep" she said
"Mind if I join you?" he asked.
Jen shook her head and lay down on the bed, Nick lay beside her with his arms rapped around her body. "I think we should do this more offten" Nick said falling asleep.
Meanwhile down stairs AJ and Evan were doing the same thing, both were sleeping soundly in a hugging position. And Evan had a weird grin on her face. The next morning Jen woke up before Evan, she looked beside her on the bed and Nick wasn't there. She walked down the stairs turning off lights "Wonder when the power came back on" She mumbled. She looked at her watch which was laying on the kitchen counter "Oh my God it's 2:00 in the afternoon" she groaned. "How could I have slept so late?"
"I think it has something to do with AJ and Nick" Evan said sitting up from her spot on the couch rubbing her eyes.
"Probably" Jen said. And she started to walk toward the patio that over looked the beach. She opened the doors and felt a strong breeze blow at her face. She went to the railing to look over. Down below were another swarm of fans.
"I don't know about you" Evan said coming up behind her "But I don't think we have enough room in our pool for all of them"
"We would if we took out all the water" She said making Evan laugh.
The fans down on the beach clicked pictures and screamed things like "Where's Nick and AJ" Jen and Evan waved a couple of times and went back in the house. "Wanna go shopping?" Evan asked. Jen gave her a weird look "Yeah sure, let's get mobbed to" she said sarcasticaly.
"Okay" Evan said "Just let me go shower and change"
"Fish" She called to Evan
"Whale" Evan called back.
"Oh no," Jen said "I can deal with Hag and Shark, but whale has to stop"
"Fine" Evan called to her from the top of the stairs "Hag" she said
"Perfect" Jen said laughing.
They showered and changed, making sure to wear sunglasses and hats, not to be noticed.
They were able to get out of the house with little comotian since everyone was on the beach. They took a cab to the mall and were able to shop some with out any distractions. Jen and Evan decided to take off their hats and sunglasses since no one had noticed them.
"Wow, look at this sweatshirt" Evan called to Jen
"That's cool" Jen stated.
"I'll buy it, It will make a nice nightgown" Evan smiled then laughed "just kidding"
She put it down and contiuned to look around, Jen decided to buy some jean shorts, and a few tank tops. While Evan went for some jeans and baby tees.
"No more 'suck face'" Jen called to Evan while she choose some tees
"Why not?" Evan asked "It worked plenty good for me" Jen's jaw dropped in amazment. Someone came up to her and Evan and said "Excuse me can I have your autographs?"
Jen looked at Evan who shrugged
"Why?" Jen asked
"cause you're the bsb's girlfriends" the girl said
"Um, Yeah" Evan said
"I guess so" Jen said taking the magazine from the girl and signing the picture of her and Nick, while Evan signed the one of her and AJ. The girl smiled said thank you and was off to admire her new find.
"This is getting too weird" Jen said
"Totally" Evan exclaimed and they continued shopping.
They were able to finish their shopping in peace and quiet now what they looked forward to was getting back home and cleaning up their mess from the night before so they could do it all over again. It was about 6 o'clock when they finally got home, They had been at the mall for about 3 hours.
"We weren't there long enough" Evan sighed and sat down
"I know, I know" Jen said "At least we can go again tomorrow"
Evan laughed and they started to clean up their mess. It took them about half an hour. There was a knock on the door. AJ and Nick came in with their arms full of food and drinks, Brian and Howie followed with their arms full of cups, plates, and napkins, Kevin came in with a whole bunch of people behind him. "Hi" Nick said giving Jen a kiss on the cheak
"Some one tell me what's happening?" Jen looked astonished
"Oh forgot to tell you one little detail last night" AJ said
"More like you forgot a lot" Jen retorted
"What detail did you seem to forget?" Evan asked them folding her arms.
"Oh the one about us having a party here." Howie cut in.
"I thought you asked them already" Brian said joining in the conversation
"As it seems they forgot." Jen laughed and walked in to the kitchen,
"Jen, We promise to replace anything that gets broken" AJ said, Jen's eyes widened
"Okay, We promise to clean up after ourselves" Nick said glaring at AJ.
Jen threw up her arms in protest. "Fine" she said. As soon as that word was out of her mouth loud music started from the speakers and more people entered the house. Food was knocked all over the floor and pop was spilt on the carpet.
Jen went to sit in the corner of the room watching the party happen right in front of her eyes. Evan sat in the other corner, knowing that She and Jen would be the ones to clean up the mess.
At around 9 Evan got tired of watching and went up stairs to her bedroom, she heard a clinking sound coming from the bathroom, she knocked on the door "Is someone in there?" she asked.
"Evan?" Came howies voice.
"Yeah it's me" she said.
"Good I need your help" he told her
"Okay with what?" She asked
"Can you please find one of the guys and send them up here?" he asked
"Um, sure" she said "Did you fall in?"
"ha ha" Howie said "My zipers stuck"
"ikes" Evan said "I'll go find someone now" she said
"Great" Howie answered
Evan went down the stairs where AJ grabbed her and started to kiss her, she automaticly forgot about Howie. Later Jen went up stairs to change her top which some one had spilt juice on. When she got up there she heard Howie's voice comming from the bathroom
"Hello, hello someone out there?" he asked
"Howie?" Jen called through the door "What are you doing?"
"Jen?" he asked "Where's Evan?"
"Um, she's down stairs dnacing with AJ" she told him
"Figures" he said
"Tell me what you need, I'll try to help you out" Jen said
"My zippers stuck" Howie told her
Jen winced thinking about the scene in "There's something about mary" Howie must have read her mind "Don't worry it's not that bad. My boxers are stuck through the zipper and it looks awful"
"Cover it with your shirt" She told him
"My boxers are bright Orange and my top is someone see through" he replied
"Well open the door, I'll help" She said
"Fine" Howie said after a few minutes of thinking
He let her in and she grabbed his zipper and yanked it downwards, it came loose of the boxers and she left the room leaving Howie standing there "I have got to know how woman do that" he said.
