This will be Jaime's first year on varsity and his first year playing high school baseball.  Jaime took a few years off from baseball to pursue another interest, as he lettered in golf both his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Jaime has great work ethics, is highly coachable, quick and very intelligent.  He will rely on these qualities, along with his great character, to help him get back in the baseball mode.  Many players might see this as a huge obstacle as he competes with and against players who haven't taken years off.  Not Jaime, he sees it as a challenge and one he aims to conquer.

Jaime is a member of the National Honor Society.  Lettered in soccer and basketball for the Panthers and is also involved in many other school activities.  Jaime's character and leadership abilities will be a big asset to the team.
