Joe was named a captain and should do rather well in this role.  He has a rather quiet demeanor and an award winning smile but make no mistake, he also knows what to do to get his teammates fired up.   He is a leader that leads by example.  Joe is one of the three talented catchers on the Panther's team this year. Most teams in the league would love to have such depth at the catching position and the Panthers are lucky to have added yet another behind the plate. When you play 3-5 games every week it comes in handy to have depth and talent at that key catching position. Joe will do what is needed to help his team win, whether he plays behind the plate or first base, you can bet Joe will be giving it his best.

Look for this Panther to have a great season at the plate. His desire, hard work and determination should take him far.   With the recent addition of a homerun fence late last year, look for this Panther to hit a few dingers!
