Last year Lee pitched in the shadow of two fine pitchers, but the Panthers lost them both to graduation last year. Look for Lee to have a stellar year on the mound for the Panthers in the 2001 season. He is only 1 of 2 returning pitchers from last year that saw action. Lee is a hard
throwing southpaw who pitched well last year but struggled at times with his control.
He held opposing batters to a mere .189 batting average. He also threw a
shutout in the 2000 campaign. This year Lee has stepped it up a few notches and has
been working real hard on keeping the ball around the plate. His hard work should pay off big for him and the
Panthers. Lee knows that for
the Panthers to have success this year, this senior will need to have a good year on the
hill. |
