Todd played varsity last year as a sophomore and was called on to handle some of the pitching load.  He did a phenomenal job as his 4-0 record indicates.  He kept opposing hitters to a .258 average, recorded a mere 2.13 ERA, which helped him keep the Panthers in every game he took the mound in.  He has super control and will be only 1 of 2 pitchers returning with experience from last year.  Todd also threw impressive back to back shutouts last year.

Todd will also see time in the outfield.  He has improved on his mechanics and looks real smooth.  He has deceiving foot speed and will be tracking down some fly balls.

Todd is a very hard worker and was named a captain after last year's season where he earned Co-Rookie of the Year honors.   He has character which coupled with his desire to learn and improve, should help him increase on his sophomore numbers.  Not to mention his increased strength and maturity.  Todd is highly coachable and the type of player coaches love on their team.

Todd is a dedicated and hard working student who also brings this attitude over into his athletics. He doesn't settle for mediocrity. He was inducted into the National Honor Society in the fall.  He lettered in soccer and basketball for the Panthers.
