Mandy Moore Helps Ease Fears In Home Video by: David Basham

It's been less than nine months since Mandy Moore emerged onto the music scene with her debut hit single, "Candy," and now fans will be able to catch a glimpse of a pre-record deal Moore displaying her acting skills in a new home video, "Magic Al & The Mind Factory."

In the video, Moore plays Brittany Foster, older sister to Tazz, the main character portrayed by Christian Kebble. The two then embark on an adventurous tale when their parents inherit an old Victorian mansion that is haunted by Magic Al and his assistant, Mr. Music.

The "Magic Al" video was filmed in the spring of 1998 in Orlando and New Smyrna Beach, Florida as part of the "Monsters Be Gone!" campaign, designed at teaching children (and parents) techniques to help them overcome fears and nightmares.

The "Magic Al & The Mind Factory" home video will premiere at a special screening in Orlando, Florida on April 26, and is scheduled for wider release via Underdog Productions this fall.

In related Mandy Moore news, the 15-year-old vocalist has just wrapped work on a video for a new single, "I Wanna Be With You," which will be featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming film, "Center Stages.
