Digital Dish Diva says: Please help me welcome tonight's musical guest, Mandy Moore.

Digital Dish Diva says: Mandy, welcome to MSN Live!

Mandy Moore says: Hey guys! What's up/ Thank you so much for coming! I appreciate all the love.

Digital Dish Diva says: You must be excited about your new CD, "I Wanna Be With You." What can we expect on the new CD?

Mandy Moore says: It's gonna be different in the sense that there's five new songs including "I Wanna Be With You" and they are just a little more mature. It shows a more mature side of me. I've grown in the last year and I want people to see that.

Digital Dish Diva says: Miss_flirty_thang Says: There are a lot of pop stars today such as Christina and Britney who look the same and their music sounds the same. To you what makes you so different from the pop stars today and your music?

Mandy Moore says: Miss Flirty Thang, I think the big difference with me is my age. Everything kind of comes off of that one point. I think my music, looks, and personality reflect my age. I don't have to worry as much as they do about taking risks. You gotta be real. You gotta be yourself.

Digital Dish Diva says: Simplyshannon says: Hi Mandy! What is the first single from the new CD?

Mandy Moore says: Simplyshannon, it's "I Wanna Be With You."

Digital Dish Diva says: Ben says: Hey Mandy! Me and the boys love ya! What are you doing to launch the CD?

Mandy Moore says: Thank you, Ben. There's not big party planed. I'm going to be in the middle of rehearsals and I'm taping some radio shows. I'm going on MTV that day to promote the new album but no party that day unfortunately.

Digital Dish Diva says: Gingin says: When are you doing TRL next on MTV?

Mandy Moore says: Gin, I'm doing TRL on May 9th, the day the album comes out.

Digital Dish Diva says: heatherK says: Hi Mandy! Was it easy to get a record contract living in Orlando where the Boy Bands grow?

Mandy Moore says: Heather, I don't think living in Orlando played a big part in my getting a record deal. I think it could have happened to anybody. I was at the right place at the right time. This guy heard me and sent in my demo. He just liked my voice. I think people have the wrong conception of Orlando. It's not all about boy bands or Disney World.

Digital Dish Diva says: Katey says: What part did or does Disney play in your career?

Mandy Moore says: Katey, Disney doesn't really play a role in my career at all at this point. But what the future may hold for me, I don't know.

Digital Dish Diva says: Jive-TalkinCowboy says: Mandy, how did you react when you heard your album went platinum? Thanks! You rock!

Mandy Moore says: Jive-TalkinCowboy, thank you. You rock! I honestly couldn't believe it. I still can't believe it to this day. I'm amazed, nervous, excited. I hope this special edition can live up to that.

Digital Dish Diva says: andrewandmark says: Mandy, what makes it special edition?

Mandy Moore says: It's honestly something that really hasn't been done before. It's taking songs from the album that came out before to show people the me now, and the me a year ago. It's kind of like "So Real Part II." I think it's just something different that people didn't expect from me at all.

Digital Dish Diva says: originalitz Says: Hey Mandy. I go to your message boards at mandymoore.com all the time! I was wondering-do you ever read the messages your fans leave for you?

Mandy Moore says: Originalitz, on my website I write back to people. I'm constantly on and I'm addicted.

Digital Dish Diva says: It's easy to get addicted isn't it?

Mandy Moore says: Yes, too easy.

Digital Dish Diva says: calalilly says: What sites do you go to online?

Mandy Moore says: Calalilly, I'm so spontaneous so I go to whatever is on my mind like if I see something in a magazine that I want to research. I'm looking for a car since I'm now 16 and I'm looking for a puppy. The Internet has so many infinite possibilities to search for. That's why it's so addicting.

Digital Dish Diva says: Ok, I know everyone wants to know, what kind of puppy and car are you looking for?

Mandy Moore says: I'm looking for an SUV. You know, something that is safe, where I can sit up high. And I'm looking for a Teacup Yorkshire Terrier. So, if anyone has one, I want one.

Digital Dish Diva says: hotgurl Says: How did you get the idea for the video "Candy"? That is the best video.

Mandy Moore says: Thank you very much. The idea came from Chris Robinson and I elaborated on the idea and poured a little of myself into it. Gosh, I can't even watch the video anymore. It's not even me. I feel like I look so stupid.

Digital Dish Diva says: Your fans in here don't seem to think so.

Mandy Moore says: That's so sweet.

Digital Dish Diva says: cowgirljc88 Says: Mandy, was your new video hard to make?

Mandy Moore says: The video was so easy to make. Nigel Dick was the best director and the dancers in the video were amazing and professional. It was those two people that made the video go smoothly. I didn't have to do much at all. I'm so in love with it.

Digital Dish Diva says: street_racer says: How was your appearance on "Rosie" today?

Mandy Moore says: Street, it was very fun. It was nerve wracking. I love Rosie. I love being on her show. She's such an amazingly strong person. I'm not 100% happy with my performance so I took the mistakes from today and will learn from them for next time.

Digital Dish Diva says: Cinderella Says: Hi Mandy! I love you so much! You are so talented! Anyway, did you enjoy touring with NSYNC?

Mandy Moore says: Cinderella, thank you so much! I loved touring with NSYNC. Amazing guys, so down to earth, so much of an inspiration to me. I'm able to look up at them and see how successful they are but not changed by their success. They are supportive and dedicated to their fans.

Digital Dish Diva says: BlinkKid17 Says: Mandy, do you think that it is hard to be on the road a lot?

Mandy Moore says: BlinkKid, it's hard to be on the road a lot in the sense that I don't get to sleep in my bed. I don't get to see my friends as much. It's the stupid little things that you miss while you're on the road, like a home cooked meal. Sometimes I get sick of take out.

Digital Dish Diva says: JC says: What do you like to take on the road with you?

Mandy Moore says: I love to take my laptop, obviously, because I'm an online addict. I love to take my picture album and I love to take my camera because I'm always taking pictures of things. My cell phone so I can keep up with the gossip at school I'm missing.

Digital Dish Diva says: Speaking of school. . .bryan16 Says: Hi Mandy. Are you going to be able to go to your junior prom next school year? If not, do you wish you could?

Digital Dish Diva says: "SPuNky tHe MuNKy" Says: People say you have to work hard to get what you want in life? Did you work hard for it or did it just come naturally to you?

Mandy Moore says: Spunky, I worked hard for it. I think you have to work hard for whatever you want. You have to be determined and go for it. Like they say, "Nothing is free." I thought that when I got a record deal I wouldn't have to work as hard, but it's just the opposite. I have to work harder to keep up.

Digital Dish Diva says: lovemetender Says: Do you think it is important for teenagers to have a role model nowadays, and who is yours?

Mandy Moore says: I think it's so important to have role models. I think it's important to have someone in your life that makes you want to set goals. My biggest role model musically is Bette Midler. She's not afraid to be brave like Madonna, who I also admire.

Digital Dish Diva says: Like Bette Midler, do you want to act as well?

Mandy Moore says: I definitely do. I'm looking at movie scripts and other things as well. I want to be careful about doing that stuff. I want to prove to everyone out there that music in my #1 priority. If I do act, it will have to be perfect. I don't want to jump into it just to do it.

Digital Dish Diva says: jules says: What kind of role would you want in a film? Which actors do you admire?

Mandy Moore says: I would want a supporting role at this point. I really admire Julianne Moore and Gwyneth Paltrow and Denzel Washington.

Digital Dish Diva says: MMfan4ever Says: Hi Mandy, you are the best! I really want to know some more info about your summer tour! Thanks. You rule.

Mandy Moore says: About my summer tour, at this point there is no summer tour like last year but I'm doing a lot of radio shows and I'm having my own show on MTV this summer five days a week called "Mandy."

Digital Dish Diva says: What will the show be about?

Mandy Moore says: It's a dedication show and we don't know too much more about it. The concept is changing every day. It's an interactive show like "TRL" where we answer e-mail and phone calls. Just kind of anything in life.

Digital Dish Diva says: chris_russell Says: Do you sing at home? If so do your parents or brothers ever get tired of it?

Mandy Moore says: Chris, I sing all the time. I will not shut up. They are pretty nice though. They don't say much. But now when I'm home, since I'm on my break, I don't sing as much. I try and rest my voice.

Digital Dish Diva says: KK2 Says: I think that you're one of the coolest singers in the industry itself! Of all the wonderful singers out there now, who would you like to do a duet with?

Mandy Moore says: Thank you very very much. What a compliment. It is changed. It used to be Enrique Iglesias. I would really like to do a duet with Britney Spears. I'd like to show everyone that we don't hate each other and that we are different. Musically and otherwise.

Digital Dish Diva says: That's cool!

Digital Dish Diva says: supersonic says: Hi Mandy. I read you did commercial voiceovers. Can you tell me which products you did voiceovers for?

Mandy Moore says: Supersonic, I really didn't do a ton of voiceovers. But I did TV commercials for Disney, Cadbury, Chevrolet, K-Mart, Nickelodeon, and Ski-Doo. That was a lot of fun.

Digital Dish Diva says: Did you get to keep one of the jetskis?

Mandy Moore says: No. I wanted one so badly.

Digital Dish Diva says: Strangeboy Says: It's so cool you took time to talk with your fans. What is your favorite song on your new CD?

Mandy Moore says: Strangeboy, it's really cool that you all showed up for this, thank you very much. "Your Face" and "I Wanna Be With You" are my favorites. It shows where I want to go with my music. It's orchestrated and I don't think people would expect that from me.

Digital Dish Diva says: misato Says: Do you go to school during your singing career?

Mandy Moore says: Misato, I don't go to conventional school, but I do tutoring through e-mail with my tutor back here in Orlando.

Digital Dish Diva says: Is it easier or harder than traditional school?

Mandy Moore says: It's actually a lot easier. In a way I'm getting a better education because it's one on one and I work at my own pace. I enjoy it a lot more too.

Digital Dish Diva says: Gracias says: Are you thinking about college?

Mandy Moore says: Gracias, I'm definitely thinking about college. I've always wanted to go to NYU and study journalism.

Digital Dish Diva says: Carly17 Says: Mandy, what is the best thing about being in the music business?

Mandy Moore says: Carly, the best thing is probably getting to share your music with people day after day. You can always redeem yourself through your music. You get to meet really cool people too, in and out of the music business.

Digital Dish Diva says: Switching gears a little. . .Seth Says: Hey Mandy do you still play lacrosse? That is the best game on earth.

Mandy Moore says: Seth, I don't play lacrosse now. When I left school I had to leave the team. It's my favorite sport to play by far.

Digital Dish Diva says: BSB_Rule Says: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment and your biggest disappointment so far in your career? Any plans to come to Canada?

Mandy Moore says: B S B Rule, I don't know what I would consider my biggest accomplishment or disappointment. I'm just glad to get to this point. I feel that I've learned from my mistakes. I loved Toronto when I went there on the Back Street Boys tour and I would love to go to Canada.

Digital Dish Diva says: travisgurl710 Says: Do you have any advice for young girls that would like to get started in the music biz? I absolutely love your new song! You are the coolest.

Mandy Moore says: Travisgurl, thank you again! My advice is don't pass up on any opportunity. You never know who's sitting in the audience. If you have the determination and are willing to make sacrifices, there's no way you can't succeed.

Digital Dish Diva says: Great advice!

Digital Dish Diva says: amanda5 Says: Mandy, do you hang out with your friends and stuff, just like a normal 15 year old does? I love your songs, and wish I were you!

Mandy Moore says: Amanda, Thank you! I don't know if you want to be me. (laughs) I do hang out with my friends all the time and tomorrow I'm going with them to the beach. I take them on the road when I can because they really keep you grounded and sane.

Digital Dish Diva says: misty says: Hi there from sunny Miami, Mandy! You obviously have a good head on your shoulders. What keeps you grounded? Religion? Your parents? Your teachers?

Mandy Moore says: Misty, I think it's the combination of the three and my friends as well keep me grounded. I also think you learn from other people and I'm so happy to say that I've met so many people that are so great. You hear stories about people changing and I don't want to get to that point, I always want to feel lucky that I've gotten to this point.

Digital Dish Diva says: michelleV says: Hi Mandy. I like your style. You don't look like you are trying to be 25. Which designers do you like? Do you have a stylist?

Mandy Moore says: Michelle, thank you very much! You gotta be proud to be your age. My stylist is Zita and she knows what I love and what is "me." I'm not too picky about what designers I'm wearing but if I could have my pick, I love to dress up on stage with Gucci but at home, I'm in Gap jeans and a t-shirt.

Digital Dish Diva says: That's good. You're not a high maintenance girl!

Digital Dish Diva says: bryan16 Says: Mandy, what was your favorite country to visit while on tour?
