What do you you think Howie brings to the Backstreet Boys?
AJ: Well, aside from his vocals and his amazing talent for acting and dancing, I think he brings a bit of tranquility to the band. There's also his sweetness, of course. He has a very positive outlook on everything - that's why we all call him Sweet D!
Nick: He's the peacemaker of the group. He's also very smart - he's the clever one!
Kevin: He's got a big heart. He's very sensitive. It's really good to have someone like that in the band.
What does Howie worry about most?
AJ: I think he worries about how people perceive him. He's very sensitive about his looks. Howie never wants to seem rude. He doesn't really want to seem anything. He's just very cautious.
What's his most annoying habit?
Kevin: Before he makes a decision, he really weights things up, studying the pros and cons in detail. He takes a little long to do it sometimes.
Is Howie good with the fans?
Kevin: He's great. He loves chatting to them. I think he's frustrated that he can't do it at the moment because he's so busy.
Brian: Howie's probably the best of all of us - he and Kevin have a lot of patience with the fans. Howie always tries to please everybody, even when he can't!
How can you tell if he's in a bad mood?
Kevin: When he doesn't say much. He doesn't really get into bad moods. He just gets quiet.
