* Three days later *
The boys had done their last concert the day before but they were still in the hotel because their flight was only that morning. Things weren't really better in the crew because Brian was now so nervous that anyone could talk to him, even for 2 minutes. They all tried over and over to reassure him but it was worst. Amber couldn't handle it anymore so she wasn't really talking to him or hanging out. She has thought about not going with him in Florida and going back to New York but she was scared with all the Leighanne thing. Howie and Carly weren't talking to each other yet. Carly was now really shy because of the way she treated him. She was feeling so stupid. And Howie didn't want to talk to her because he thought she was still angry and he didn't want to make her even more upset. On Kevin's side, he was still sad but it was going better since he knew that he wouldn't be alone for the next 2 weeks. Naomie was pretty happy to leave them for the next days because she couldn't handle all the tension now. It was too much for her. The other guys were going great, especially Nick and Rachel. He had invited her to come over to his house for 2 or 3 days before to go back in Canada.
They were all in the lobby of the hotel, waiting for the van. There were some fans there but not a lot because most of them thought they'd be already back to Florida.
"I can't wait to finally be back home!!!" Ashley exclamed.
"Yeah !" Amber said with no emotions, looking at Brian.
"Oh come on guys! Don't be so grumpy!" Nick said stepping back.
"We're not grumpy..." Brian said on a unhappy tone.
"Oh yes you are!" he said still stepping back to the door. But he suddently charge into on of the fans who was there and he fell on the floor. Everyone bursted out laughing except the fan who was feeling really sorry.
"Oh my god!!!!! Are you alright?????" the fan said looking worried.
"Hum...yeah!" Nick anwered as he got up on his feet feeling stupid.
"I'm really sorry!!!! I didn't see you coming!!" the fan said to apologize. She was with one of her friend who didn't stop laughing.
"Mary, was that your trick to get him? Because I don't think it'll work!! " her friend said still laughing.
"Ah that's not funny Val! I feel so sorry!!!" Mary said looking at Nick.
"It's alright!" Nick said laughing too. "At least some of them are smiling now!" he added looking at his friends.
"We should thank you for this!" Aj said coming over them to sign some stuff and talked to them a little.
They all chatted for a short while. They were all smiling, realizing their vacation were started and that they would be home in a short while. Finally the van arrived and they left the fans and the hotel. They arrived at the airport.
"Bye Nam!!! I'll miss you!!!" Becky said huggin her friend.
"I'll miss you too Beck! Call me anytime!" Naomie replied.
"Yeah I'll call you! I have some things to talk to you about!" Becky said with a mysterious look.
"Oh oh!" Naomie laughed. "Alright!". She hugged her friend again and turned to the others. "Bye Guys! See ya soon!"
"Bye Nam!!" Nick said as he walked to her and gave her a quick hug what made Rachel a little jealous.
"See ya Nick!" Naomie replied a little shy.
"Bye Nam!" the others said all together as she walked away.
They stood there talking about things and other, waiting for their flight to be called. Finally, they left and got into the airplane. Brian was sitting in the airplane alone. He was listening to some music but wasn't really paying attention. He didn't want to talk to anyone right now. He only wanted to relax and calm down. The others were sleeping or watching the movie when they arrived in Florida.
"Bye Guys! See ya soon!" Ashley said leaving them. "And Stacey, if you can't stand Kevin anymore or wanna go out or something, just call me!"
"Thanks!" Stacey replied. "Have a nice time at your 'friend's'".
"Haha! Thank you!" Ashley said as she left.
"So you're ready to see Aj's place beautiful?" Aj asked to Becky.
"Or Aj's mess!" Nick laughed.
"Hey! It can't be worst than your bedroom!" Aj teased.
"Alright, alright babies! I'll judge when I'll see!" Becky said giggling.
"Bye you guys! I'll call you for that party I wanna do!" Aj said as him and Becky walked to Aj's car.
"Bye Aj! Bye Becky!" they all said.
Brian and Amber were driving silently to Brian's house. But soon Amber couldn't take it anymore and started talking.
"So tell me, what are we gonna do during those 2 weeks?" she asked trying to find a subject to talk about.
"I don't know.." Brian answered.
"I see..." she said desesperate. She sighed and put the radio on. After a short while, they arrived at Brian's home. They walked in and Brian started to make a guided tour of the house. It was a quite big house but not as big as Amber thought it'd be. But she was happy either. She thought she'd be happier if Brian was at leat saying more than 2 words.
"Brian... please, talk to me!" Amber said looking sad. "I know you're nervous and everthing but...why are you acting like that???"
"I'm not nervous..." he answered knowing it was false.
"Oh come on!" she said with a little laugh. "You know you can talk to me!"
"I'll be alright!" he said sitting on the couch to watch tv. Amber sat next to him and put her arms around him.
"Yeah but when?" she asked. "I can't stand not seeing you smiling and goofing around!"
"I'm alright!" he said looking at her deeply.
"I know and you know it's false!" she said starting to be angry. "I know it can be hard to see your ex but please, try to not think about it! How do you think it makes me feel?"
"Don't be worry... it'll be alright!" he repeated.
"Brian!" she sighed. "Stop saying this because I'll think it's not true! Please honey, try to relax!!!"
"Ok... you're right...I'll calm down..." he said.
"So when are you gonna pick up tyke?" she asked.
"Only in 2 days!" he sighed thinking about his dog.
"Oh!" she whined realizing that she'd have to bear his attitude for 2 more days.
Brian thought he should act like anything was gonna happen because he could see that Amber was starting to be really tired of his behavior. He got closer to her and kissed her.
"I love you!" she said when they broke the kiss.
"I love you too baby!" he said smiling.
"So..what are we gonna do tonight?" she asked hoping he would suggest something.
"What do you say we watch some movies and relax?" he asked not really in the mood to go out clubbing.
"I say..." she said moving her face closer. "It's a great idea" she added before to put her lips on his.
"Alright!" he said smiling.
**Meanwhile in Kevin's car**
"Here we are!" Kevin said not really happily when they parked in front of a big and beautiful house. He had shared this house with Kristin and wasn't really happy to live in it. He knew her things and clothes were probablys still there.
"Wow!" Stacey shouted. "It's beautiful!"
"Yeah!" he sighed.
Stacey ran out the car and looked at that house, or almost castle wich was in front of her. It was right next to the beach and she knew she was gonna love that place.
"I can't believe a house like this exist for real! It's like in a movie!" she said giggling.
"Well, it exist for real and it's Kris..." he paused. "It' my house"
"Now I see why you can't live in this alone... you probably get lost so easily!" she said what made Kevin laugh.
"You're probably right! Wanna see the inside?" he asked.
"Of course I want!"
They walked in and Stacey observed everything around her. It was even more beautiful inside.
"Oh my god!" she exclamed. "How can you leave this house for the tour?" she asked looking at huge living room at her left. The walls were colored with a dark green and it was fitting really great with the couch and the other furniture. The other rooms were all decorate with a lot of taste.
"Did you ask a decorator for all this??" she asked.
"Nope! I have a lot of taste ya know!" he said proudly.
"I can see that!" she exclamed looking at the kitchen.
"Come here! Look at the vue we have from the backyard!" he said leading her to the back door.
"Oh my god!!!!" she almost screamed. "It's amazing!!!!!". It was on the beach so they were seeing the beach and with the blue sky and the sun...it was just unbelievable for her. She was like a young child at christmas.
"Is it the first time you come to Florida?" Kevin asked amused by her excitement.
"Yes!" she laughed.
"Oh I see!" he said giggling.
"I want to go to Disney Land!!" she said.
"Are you serious?" he asked.
"Of course! I can't leave Florida without going to Disney Land!" she anwered seriously.
"Oh man!" Kevin said desperate.
"What??"
"How old are you already?" he asked teasing.
"There is no age to go to Disney Land! Look, I'm like a tourist here!" she said. "Don't you think it'd be great to go there with all the others??"
"I don't know..." he said remembering where he met Kristin the first time.
"Ah come on! It'd be so much fun!"
"Yeah maybe!" he said trying to forget about his ex wife. But it was hard because everything in the house, the neighboorhood... everything was relate to Kristin.
"Are you alright?" she asked seeing that he wasn't really happy to be back.
"Yes yes!" he said shaking her head.
"Ok!" she smiled. "Thank you so much for inviting me here! I'm sure I won't regret it!"
"No problem!" he said smiling back. "You didn't have any place to go huh?"
"Not really.." she replied looking down. "But I'm sure I would have find something!"
"You never went back to your parent's ?"
"No..." she turned and looked outside. The landscape was very soothing. She turned back and stared at Kevin.
"I'm sorry... maybe you didn't want to talk about it..." he said.
"Not right now... maybe another time! So what are we gonna do tonight? Did you want to go out or something???" she asked smiling.
"I don't know... I'm not really feeling for going out... but you can go if you want! I can give you Aj's number!"
"No it's ok! Maybe I'll just go walk to see the neighborhood. And the beach!"
"Yeah no problem you can go on the beach when you want!" he said.
"Great! But if sometimes you'd like to be alone sometimes, just tell me" she said seriously.
"Alright!"
"And if you want to talk ...be sure to ask!" she added.
"Thanks a lot! I'm happy you're here!" he said hugging her what brang a strange feeling to Stacey. "So, let's take your loggages to the guest room!" he said going outside.
***At Aj's house***
"So how do you like my ..mess?" Aj said laughing at the way all the pieces were upside down.
"Oh well...it's true it could be a little more clean but..I don't care!" she said sitting on the bed.
"I hope you don't because you'll have to live in it for 2 weeks!" he laughed.
"Oh no!" she whined teasing. "No with you during 2 weeks?"
"Yes my dear! You'll have to bear me for 2 long weeks!" he said with a huge grin.
"At least the bed is alright!" she said with a sexy smile.
"Ooooh... miss Becky like beds..." he said sitting next to her and kissed her shoulder.
"I said it was alright... I didn't say why!" she teased.
"What do you think a bed is make for?"
"Sleep!" she laughed looking at his reaction.
"Really funny ! Do you wanna see what it really made for?? I mean, the way Aj this it's make for!" he said.
"You bet!" she replied kissing him passionately and laying on her back so he was on the top of her.
****At Nick's house****
Nick and Rachel were in his house cuddling and kissing on the couch. They were happy to have some time alone but Nick was missing his family a lot. He couldn't wait to see them again. He was thinking about his little brother. It was really hard for him to not have him fooling around. Since they were in two different tour, they were only seeing each other on the holidays or when they were both on vacation. He thought that maybe he could join Aaron on his tour the next week when Rachel talked.
"I'll miss you so much!"
"I'll miss you too baby!" he replied as she smiled.
"So what are you gonna do when I'll be sitting on my school bench thinking of you?" she asked giggling.
"Well...I don't know. I'll probably go at my parent's house for a while because I miss them terribly!" he said remembering the talks he used to have with her mother.
"I understand!" she smiled. He looked at her and got an idea.
"Hey! What do you say we go to my parent's tonight?" he asked excited.
"Tonight?"
"Yeah! It'd be great! You could meet my family before to leave!" he said all smile.
"Umm...yeah!" she replied sounding not really pleased with the idea.
"You sure?"
"Well...I thought you'd like to spend the evening with me... I'm leaving tomorrow..."
"Tomorrow!?!?!" he exclamed confused. "I thought you were only leaving in 3 days..."
"I know...I was suppose too! But my mother called me and she asked me to come back because I she say that I missed enough school..." she said shyly.
"Oh!" he said trying to hide his excitement. He didn't know why he was feeling like this but he was kinda happy to see her leave. Not happy...but relieved. And he didn't know why he was feeling like this. He blamed himself to react like this. It was his girlfriend, he had to be sad to see her leave. It was his girlfiriend, he was loving her... was he really loving her?
