Chapter 2
*After The Sound Check*
"When does the food is coming???" whined Nick for the zillions time.
They were all in the hotel restaurant for dinner. Only the boys, the dancers plus Rachel were there because de musicians wanted to be at the arena earlier.
"Do you whine like this all the time??" asked Rachel laughing, what made Nick blush a little. He was shy when Rachel was around and he didn't know why. Of course, Becky scene a little earlier didn't help. He knew he looked stupid and maybe that's why.
"Yes he does!!!!!" said Aj. "He never stop! Don't worry, you'll get use to it!!
"I don't whine... I'm just really really hungry!!" he said smiling.
"And he is always hungry so...that made him whine all the time!" replied Brian.
Everyone started laughing and the food finally arrived. During all the dinner they didn't stop talking. Rachel told them about her life with her mother in Canada... and all the scholarship she got from her good marks. And they talked to her about the tour and all the stupid things they do sometimes...especially what a goofie Nick was sometimes... it was making her laugh and him want to run away. During the dinner Kevin and Kristin were like on their own world. Kristin was leaving in 2 days for Europe because the movie she was going to be in was filming there. Kevin was really sad to see her leaving but excited for her ... it was one of the big movie she was going to be in. But 2 weeks away from his wife was a lot. And he was worried too... because of what happens to Nick and Mandy. Even if he know that his relation wasn't the same has his little bro Nick and his ex-girlfriend... he couldn't stop thinking that maybe it could happen to him. But he shook his head and tought about how happy he was with her right now.
*After The Concert*
After the concert they all went to the hotel.They were staying in this town for another night.Tommorow was a free day so they could do wathever they wanted to. They decided to do a mini party in the ball room of the hotel this night.They could listen music and dance all night.
In their way to the hotel, Nick and Rachel were in the same car.They were looking at each other shyly, that was very cute. She tought that he was so cute and so sweet. During the concert, he was always smilling at her and the other boys were always around nick when he was on Rachel's side so they could laugh at him and tease him. That was making Rachel laugh. After a long silence nick begin to talk:
"So Did you enjoy the show?!?!" he asked Rachel
"Yeah!!! I had a Wonderful time!!I always knew that you guys were the best!!!!" she answerd smilling
"Well thank you!!!" he said "I love to see people smile!!!"
"You definitly make me smile!! You felleas Rock!"said rachel
Nick was now smiling. He was kind of shy around her. She was so beautiful with her smile and her eyes...they were soooo blue that he could see the sea in.The sound of her voice was so calm and he liked it. That was a big change to hang out with a girl who was calm, Cuz this time around he was a lot hanging out with Becky.When he first met her he was attracted by her.
She's so cute and so sexy,she was sweet and very funny.Everything he always wanted in a girl.But at this time he was still with Mandy.After a couple of week he was very close to her and mandy broke up...not because of that..because of the distance...anyway he was very close to Becky..but as friend...He realize that they was to friendly to build a relation with her.Plus Becky didn't want to have a boyfriend for the moment...
*At the party*
Everyone was having a lot of fun drinking and dancing all over the room. The boys and girls on the dance floor were getting wild at the rythm of the up-tempo songs that didn't stop since de beginning of the party. Brian, Aj, Howie and Kevin were all wishing a slow song so they could push Nick and Rachel to dance together. They were looking so shy together but in the same time everyone could notice that they were attracted to each other so... they boys wanted to push the things a little. Couldn't wait anymore, (because he also wanted to dance with Amber), Brian went to the DJ and asked him to put "Open Arms", one of Nick's favorite song. When he heard that, Nick wanted to go and ask Rachel to dance but he was suddently very nervous.
"Come on Nick! Ask her to dance!!!" said Aj.
As he turn around to go and ask her, he saw Simon, one of the dancer on tour with them asking her.
"Damnit!" he said watching her going on the dance floor.
After the song, Brian came over him.
"Why did you wait that much to ask her???"
"I don't know... I was going to!!" he said with a sad look.
"Well, at the next slow dance, you have to ask her! I was looking at her while she was dancing and she was looking at YOU!" replied Brian with a smile.
"Yeah yeah! I swear!!" he said smiling too.
10 minutes later, another slow started so Nick ran to Rachel.
"Hey, wanna dance???" he said with a cute little smile.
"Yeah sure!!" she answered smiling and thinking it was about time. She wished so much to dance with him that she thought he wouldn't come.
On the dance floor, Nick put his arms around her and got very close of her. He was happy to finally have the change to hold her. He knew she was happy too because she had a huge smile on her face. She was feeling so nice and safe with his arms around her body. They were both on the cloud line. No one wanted to talk, scared to ruin this beautiful moment. When the song ended, they got apart a little and looked at each other.
"Thank you for the dance" said Rachel blushing a little.
"It was a pleasure" answered Nick smiling and feeling alright, not as shame as 5 minutes earlier. "I didn't see you dance on the groovy songs earlier... don't you wanna dance?" he asked.
"Nah... I'm not a really good dancer" she said feeling a little stupid to be in a party and to not dance. But she wasn't a big party girl. People at her school never asked her to come over to a party because she'd always say no, too shy to get there.
"Oh come on! I'll show you! Let's dance!" he said taking her hand and leading her in the middle of everyone.
Nick was goofing around, doing some stupid dance but Rachel was always laughing. They were like in their own little world.
"So he finally did it??" screamed Howie over the music so Aj could hear him.
"Yeah! Finally!!" laugh Aj. "Hey what's wrong man, you're not dancing... you're usually having lots of fun in these partys! Don't you wanna dance??"
"Yeah I'd like but I have no one to dance with!"
"Oh come on man, there are lots of girls here... why don't you go ask Carly...she look alone at the table" said Aj looking at her with a smile.
"Are you sure? Do you think she will accept??" asked Howie.
"Oh yeah!! 100% sure man!!... Why do you doubt???"
"I don't know... she looks like she's waiting for someone"
"Who knows? maybe it's you!!" said Aj with a mysterious look. Then he started laughing. "Come on D!! Never let a girl alone at a table!!!"
"Alright, alright!!!" Howie laughed leaving Aj alone at the table.
Later in the night, the party was really going crazy. Everyone was having fun but some of them were a little too drunk... like Aj! He was getting really close to all the girls, flirting and dancing with all of them. Becky too had too much of drink and when Aj asked her to dance with him, on a reggae song. They got very close, both touchy and dancing together sensually.
"Wow I think it would be time to get Aj out of here or he'll do something he don't want to!!!" said Brian to the others
"Yeah I think it'd be time for all of us to go sleep now!" added Amber.
Everyone agreed and they all went upstair. Aj and Becky went in the same elevator alone. They both were really drunk and to be alone together in the elevator...They couldn't wait another minute. Aj got closer to Becky and started kissing her neck and went up to her lips. They started kissing each other...until Becky got her mind straight and asked him to stop.
"What's wrong??" he asked.
"I don't think we should do that... I'm sure we'll regret it tomorrow" she said suprise of herself.
"Well...maybe you're right..."
Becky thought a little and finally grabbed him and kissed him passionaly. She was drunk and not totally sure of what she was doing but she didn't care because she knew Aj wanted the same thing. He leaded her in his bedroom. He started to kiss her in the neck and on the shoulder while she removed his shirt. He removed his pants and her clothes, kissing her wildly at the same time. They were now on the bed, Becky on the top of Aj, kissing every inch of Aj's body. They made love and then they got asleep, Aj's arm around the body of Becky.
*During This Time In Kevin's Room*
"I'm gonna miss you so much" said Kevin holding his wife in his arms.
"I'll miss you too" answered Kristin with a sad look. "But it's gonna goes fast, I'm sure."
"I hope so. It'll be weird to not have you around me," he said trying to smile.
"Don't worry, everything is gonna be fine... I just hope you won't replace me during that time!!" she said laughing.
"Of course not! But it's the same thing for you Madam!!" he replied smiling.
"You don't have to worry with that! I'm totally yours!!"
"Alright then!! I love you!" he said before to give her a long and sweet kiss.
"I love you too!"
Next door, in front of Brian's room
Amber was still wearing a cute little smile...she was so happy.
"Why are you smilling like this ?!?!"asked Brian
"Hoo you don't like to see me smile?!?"she asked smiling even more.
"Yeah I love to see you smile!!!"he said before kissing her deeply
"Don't you think that Nick and Rachel look cute together?!?"asked Amber still smilling from the kiss
"Yeah They Do!!!I just hope she's the one for him!!!"said Brian seriously
"Yeah!!He derserves someone who's gonna love him for who he is!!He seems sad since mandy broke up.."replied Amber
"Yeah..."said Brian sadly
"You really care for him huh?!?! don't you?!?!"
"Of course I do, he is like my lil bro..and probably my best friend in the whole world!!"
"He's lucky to have a friend like you sweetie!!"
"Yeah... but sometimes you know... I... nah nevermind let's go..." said Brian opened the doors of is room
"Brian you know you can talk to me... It is very important for you..it's normal you know him since 8 years now... he was a kid when you first met him... and now he is a big guy... that's what made your beautiful eyes sad like this?!?!"
"It's just that... sometimes I feel like... I don't know..it's like I've lost my lil bro... I mean... Maybe I don't want to see that he is an adult now and he don't need me like he used to"
"What do you mean?!?!"asked Amber
"Well... you know when he met mandy... he told me how much he tought that she was beautiful and sweet and..stuff like that... and..when she broke up... he didn't tell me nothing about it... I asked him a million time
if he wanted to talk about it but...he never wanted too...and it's kind of upset me because I wanna be there for him...he was there for me when the things with Leigh happenned ... I just wish that I could be there for him... And I try ..God I try so hard..but he never listen to me..and I'm scare that he would be hurt this time too...I didn't want to push him in Rachel's arms but.. I'm just scared to see him hurt one more time..."Brian was kind of upset now... he never told anybody about what he was feelin for his lil bro.He was missed their talk so much... He was scared that the people think that he stupid...
"Ho baby... he loves you and he need you I'm sure of it... you know Nick never really lived like a teenager.. I mean... he did but he was around so much people older than him that he could'nt live as a normal teenager...you see what I mean. Now that he can do something on is own...he does it and he think that he doesn't need anyone but he does... he does need a friend who' always gonna stand by him...and be there for him...
and this person is you Brian..."Amber was so suprised of what she was just saying...she didn't use to tell think like that ...and she doesn't know how Nick was feeling in his heart but...she was sure that she was right ..he does love and need his big brother...
"You know Amber I love you so much... You always know how to make thing right..."he said taking her in is arms.
"I love you too sweetheart!!!" she kissed him on the check and couple of minutes later they were both asleep.
