*The next day, at Aj's*
Becky was sitting in the garden of Aj's house thinking about how much she love Aj. He was so sweet with her. She was feeling like nothing could tear them apart, she was feeling so strong when she was in his arms. As strong as their love was.
"Hoooo Honey!"exclamed Aj comming from inside with the phone
"Yeah?!"she asked coming back to earth
"Phone for ya baby!!!"he said giving her the phone..."I have to go at Howie's place,we planned to work on a song I'll be back around 1:00"he wishpered giving her a quick kiss and leaved.
"Alright see ya later sweetheart!"she said before answered to the phone "Hey?!"
"Hey Girl!!"a young woman voice said.
"Hey?"replied Becky not convience of who it was "Nam?!?"
"Yeah it's me!!what's up?!" she laughed.
"Gosh honey I didn't reconize at first!How are you?!" Becky giggled happy to hear her best friend's voice.
"well I'm doing very great!how 'bout you?!"
"Number 1" Becky exclamed "So how it's going out there???with your 2 million brothers?!"she laughed
"Awwww I just have 4 brothers...not a million" Naomie laughed "but it's going very well!!! I've missed my bed and the beach and now that I have all this stuff back..but I miss the crew!!!"
"How sweet!!!" Becky teased.
"Yeah yeah I'm a sweetheart!!" Naomie laughed back.
"Humm I know someone who's gonna need a sweetheart soon" Becky exclamed
"Like who?!"asked Naomie curious
"Well I should'nt tell you this.."
"Awww Beck C'mon! tell me who? Is it someone I could be intested in being his sweetheart?!?" Naomie asked with a grin.
"Hummmm I don't know... you've tell me you were over Nick so..." Becky started.
"Awww Dammit!!!I've contracdicted myself here!" Naomie laughed.
"Haaa I knew you weren't over him...!!!" Becky sighed.
"Well I am but...duh!!!ok comon is it him?!"she laughed
"Hummmm .....Maybe... well last night he didn't seems very happy you know!!" Becky said.
"You saw him last Night??"Naomie asked.
"Yes at Howie's club. He stopped by for a few minutes!!He was allll alone...Rach is back in canada...he seemed confused!!" Becky continued while she was walking to the hamack
"How comes shes back in Canada?!?She told us she would stay here a week!!!"
"Well he said that her mother wanted her back cuz of her college or something like that!!Well anyway If you want my opinion he won't stay with her longer.." Becky said.
"too Bad" she sighed.
"Yeah right Nam!!!" Becky laughed.
"What?!?!I am not happy... I mean If he's hurt ya know!!" Naomie replied seriously.
"Yeah well he does what he want!!!I'm not sure of what he said but last night he seemed confused!!Like he had some problem and he didn't know how to fix it ya know!" Becky explained.
"Yeah ok!!well...I guess we'll see!!!well I better get going!!!we're going to the beach with my brothers and I didn't fix my hair yet so I'll call you in a couple of days k?!"
"Perfect girl!!Be safe at the beach!!" Becky said.
"I promise!!!See ya girl Take care ,love ya"
"Love ya too hon bye!!"Becky said before to hang up.
**Meanwhile at Kevin's**
Stacey woke up with a smile that morning. She was feeling that her life was getting better and that she was finally happy. She had a good job, wonderful friends and she had her old friend Leighanne back. Everything was going right for her. Since that day she had left her birthplace, she'd always blame herself for everything and always tried to hide her sadness. But not things were way better and she was feeling in peace with herself. She got dressed and walked to the kitchen humming and curious to know how Kevin's "date" with Kristin have been.
"Hey Kev!!!" she shouted happily.
"Hey !" he said smiling. "How are you?"
"Great great!" she said searching for something to eat in the refrigerator. "How' bout you??"
"Really good!" he replied.
"Ooh, so everything went fine yesterday?" she said sitting at the table.
"Yes! We finally work things out!" he sighed.
"Good for you!" she paused. "You two didn't start screaming in the restaurant huh??!?!?"
"Haha! No we didn't!!" Kevin laughed. "Everything is alright now!"
"Good!" she smiled.
"But I wished to be with you all at the club! It's way more fun to dance than to work out your divorce, believe me!" he sighed with a little laugh. "Was it fun?"
"Hum...it was alright..."
"Ah come on! Tell me the truth!!"
"It was reallyyyyyy great!" she laughed. "And I still can't believe Howie own this club!"
"It's cool huh?"
"Yes! It's really cool! I mean the decoration and everything... it's great! The ambiance is grooovy!" she said what made Kevin laugh.
"Yeah it's true! D did a great job!" he said. "Have you seen any celebrities??"
"Hum..nah! But I saw an old friend of mine and I learned that she's one of your friend too!"
"Who!?!?" he asked surprised.
"Leighanne..." she said. She tried to understand Kevin's look on his face but he was like lost in his thoughts. "Do you know her too or she's only Howie's and AJ's friend?"
"Yes yes!! I know her!! It's your friend????" he asked
"Yeah! well she was more the sister of my bestfriend but we used to hang out with her often !" she smiled thinking about the old time.
"Oh I see! That's great! So you kinda lost each other when you left you hometown?"
"Exactly... I kinda didn't say anything to anyone when I left but I was thinking all the time about them... but I was feeling like if I don't talk to them, I wouldn't think about what happened.." she said.
"I see! Well, who cares now? You have your friend back right?" he asked smiling.
"Yup!!! And she invite us all for dinner Saturday night!".
"Oh!! Ok!!" Kevin said even more surprised. He was wondering if Brian knew about it and if he was invited. "She invite us... all?? I mean... everyone???"
"Yeah...Brian, Amber, Nick... everyone!!" she exclamed happily.
"Oh well! That's cool!" Kevin said.
She thought for a moment and stared at him. "You probably think I'm a real freak to leave my hometown and all my friends for something like this huh?" she asked.
"Well... I can't say that it's not weird... you were certainly really in love to leave because of this mistake.." he said.
"Yes..I was feeling really bad! But...it's not just a little mistake...you're thinking the same thing of me or you'd be with Kristin right now..." she grinned.
"Hum...yeah... but it's weird. I felt really angry when I learned what she did... but if it would have been me... I'd probably say that it's a little mistake..." he said thinking.
"Exactly... but I had the opposite attitude... I didn't think a second it was a little mistake...I felt so bad ... I think that's because I knew Jonathan was gonna be really angry about it and that he was gonna break up. We had a lot of plans together... we were planning to get married and to have a family after our studies. I knew it would break is heart...but I couldn't just keep it for me!" she said. It was the first time she could talk about without feeling tears in her eyes.
"Well... that's just how destiny works! If it happened, it's not for any reason!" Kevin said.
"That's what I think too! Everything is going great now..." she smiled.
"Yeah you have the best job of the world you know... you can touch the Backstreet Boys! Oh my god!!" he joked.
"I know that... I even live with one of them for 2 weeks! Oh my god!!!!" she shouted imitating the fans.
"Haha! Well, it's not that I don't like you but I told Brian I'd be at his house around 11 am so I better get going!" Kevin said standing up.
"You're gonna see Tyke!? Lucky you!" she said pouting.
"Poor girl!" he laughed.
"See ya later!"
"See ya!" Kevin shouted as he left. He arrived at Brian's house and as he was going to knock on the door, Amber came out of the house.
"Oh! Hey Kev!" she said.
"Hi ya! How are you?"
"I'm doing great!" she answered. "Well, sorry I have to go or I'll be late!"
"Alright! See ya!" he said watching her leaving. He entered in the house and walked to the backyard knowing that Brian was there because of Tyke's barfing.
"Hey cuz!!!" Brian shouted.
"Hey!!! What's up?!?!?" Kevin asked sitting on a chair.
"Oh well... nothing much I guess... how about you? Everything went great yesterday?"
"Yes! Everything is okay now!" he repeated. He told him how the evening went and what they decided to do about the press and things like that.
"I'm happy for you man!" Brian said throwing the ball to Tyke.
"You didn't tell me about the dinner at Leighanne's Saturday!" Kevin said.
"Huh??!?!? What dinner!?!"
"Oh you didn't know... " Kevin laughed.
"Didn't know what?? What dinner??!?" Brian asked.
"She invite us all to her house for dinner Saturday night!"
"Really? where did you hear that?" Brian said confused.
"Stacey told me! They met her yesterday at Howie's club!"
"Ooh I see! Hum...I don't know if I'll go... I'd like to but Amber doesn't look really happy... I don't know what's with her... I told her everything was alright now and that I was sorry... " Brian sighed. "I'll never understand women!"
"Me neither!" Kevin laughed. "And you know what I've learned this morning?"
"No...what?!?!?"
"Stacey is Leighanne's old friend! They've known each other since like... 10 years or something!"
"Huh!? God...this is weird!" Brian laughed. "She never told me about an old friend named Stacey..."
"That's because when you met Leigh, they weren't seeing each other anymore... it's a long story that I'm the only one to know!" Kevin said proudly.
"Oh I see!" Brian smiled. "Will you go?"
"Where?"
"At the dinner!" Brian exclamed.
"Oh!! Well..I dunno... " Kevin said.
"Do you know who else will go?"
"Look Bri, I have no idea, I've learn it this morning!! I know you want to go, then go!! It's not because it's your ex that you can't go to a dinner where she invited you! You told me everything went fine between you two the other day... so I don't see why you couldn't go!" Kevin said.
"You're right...but I'm not sure if she really want me to go..."
"Well, call her and ask!" Kevin laughed.
"Yes, like it's so easy!" Brian sighed.
"Anyway!!! Why did you want me to come here?"
"Oh! I wanted to show you something I wrote!!" he answered getting up and walking to his small studio.
*This evening*
Stacey had call everyone to ask the if they wanted to go to Walt Disney World that night. They all agreed and met in front of the amusement park. Stacey, Kevin, Becky, Aj and Howie were all waiting for Brian, Amber and Nick to join them. Their bodyguards were with them, in case something bad happen during the evening.
"Hey guys!!" Stacey shouted happily.
"Hey! You're ready?" Brian asked smiling about the way Stacey was acting.
"Yes! I can't wait!!" she answered excited.
"So let's go! What are we waiting for?" Aj asked.
"Nick!" they all said at the same time.
"Oh right! I can't believe he's late!"
"Here he is!" Brian shouted waving to Nick. "Hey bro! What's up?"
"Hum...nothing much!" Nick replied not really confortable to have Amber around. He was feeling guilty but he was trying to hide because he didn't want Brian to know about what happened.
"Can we go now??" Stacey whined.
"Yeah Yeah little baby!" Kevin laughed.
They entered in the park all smile, except for Nick and Amber who were trying to avoid each other. It was the first time they were seeing each other since "that" day.
"Oooh! This is my world!" Stacey said looking everywhere as everyone laughed. "Come on let's go!" she added almost running to a big rollercoaster.
"Is Brian gonna go there?" Howie laughed knowing that his friend was afraid of heights.
"Yes I will!" he answered smiling as they walked to the crowd of people waiting.
"You never went into this one!" Nick said confused.
"Yeah I know...but it'll be alright!" Brian said. "And if I'm sick, my baby will take care of me!" he added looking at Amber who didn't react because she wasn't paying attention of what was going on. "Amby?" Brian asked seeing that she wasn't really present.
"Huh?!? What?!?!?"
"Are you there?!" Aj laughed.
"Hum... yeah yeah! sorry!" she said. "What were you saying?"
"I was saying that you'd take care of my if I'd be sick... " Brian repeated.
"Oh ! Right..." she said still not really caring. Tons of things were running into her head and she thought she'd be sick before to make any rollercoaster or mary-go-round.
"Are you alright sweetie?" Brian asked wrapping her arms around her waist.
"Yeah yeah! I'm ok! I'm just feeling a little sick..." she said not looking at him in the eyes.
"Already?" Stacey laughed but she stopped when she saw Amber's sad look in her face."Well maybe we can go to smaller rollercoaster or something.."
"No no! I'll go! It'll probably be alright after!" Amber said with a little smile.
They all went and had a lot of fun, or trying to have a lot of fun. After a couple of games, they went into another queue for a big rollercoaster again.
"I'll wait for you here... I'm scared to be sick after it..." Amber said with a little smile.
"Alright! We'll join you here!" Brian said kissing her quickly. "You're not coming too?" he asked Nick when he saw he wasn't going with him.
"I need to go to the bathroom! So I'll join you here too.." he said going to the bathroom. When he saw that Brian was gone, he walked to the bench where Amber was waiting.
"What do you think you are you doing???" he said a little angrily.
"What?!?" Amber asked.
"Do you really think he won't find something is going on? You're not even looking at him!!!" Nick shouted.
"I can't..." she sighed almost in tears.
"Amber, you have to act as normal as possible or..."
"Or what?? I just can't look at him in the eyes...that's all...I can't do anything about it!"
"You really want to lose him or what???" he shouted what made a few tears rolling on her cheeks.
"You're a big jurk!" she sobbed quietly. "You'll lose him too you know!"
"Like I've already told you, if you shut your mouth we both won't lose him!" he said sitting down next to her. "Now stop crying and act as normal as possible because they'll be back soon!"
"Act as normal as possible...really easy to say! You're not doing better than I do! You don't even talk and you don't stop giving me evil glance... stop looking at me like that!!" she said wipping the tears on her cheeks.
"I was looking at you that way because it was obvious something was up with you! Everyone could tell you!!!" he said. "Ok ssshhh they are coming back!"
"Oh man that was so much fun!!!!!!!!!" Stacey shouted. "Can we go again??"
"hahahah! Later please...I think I felt my dinner coming up..." Brian laughed.
"Oooh...alright!" Stacey pouted. "Where are we going now???"
"Let's go to this one!" Nick said pointing a big building. "It's really scary!" he said with a mysterious smile.
"Alright!!!!!!!!!! Let's go!!!!!" she shouted.
"Wait wait wait!!!" Aj laughed. "Can't we take a little break?"
"Yeah I'd like that!" Becky nodded.
"It's a good idea!" Brian said sitting next to Amber.
"Oooh!" Stacey whined.
"Come with me then!! We'll go together!" Nick said trying to get away from Amber and Brian.
"Alright let's go!!" Stacey said following Nick. The other friends went to a small restaurant and ordered a few drinks.
"So D... what's up with Carly now?" Aj asked grinning.
"None of your business Bone!" Howie smiled.
"Ooooh... it's serious then?" Becky said.
"Humm... I think so... we'll see..." Howie smiled again. "Too bad she didn't come tonight!"
"Yeah...why couldn't she come?" Brian asked.
"I think she had already planned something with her little sisters..." Kevin said. "And Ashley and Paul wanted to be alone tonight...I guess.."
"Oh ok!!" Howie said. They kept talking for a while, waiting for Nick and Stacey to come back.
"What the hell are they doing?" Brian sighed what made everyone laugh. "He wouldn't do that..." Brian added giggling.
"Well..who knows, maybe he miss Rachel and..." Aj bursted out laughing. Amber looked down at the table.
"Shut up Aj!" Kevin said with a small smile.
"Hey you guys!!!!!!!" Stacey said.
"Where were you??" Brian asked what made everyone laugh again.
"We went on other mary-go-round because there weren't a lot of people waiting... " Stacey smiled. "Hey guys, I'd like to know... who is gonna come to Leighanne's dinner saturday... because I'll probably call her tomorrow so I could tell her who's coming..."
"Becky and I will be there.." Aj said.
"I'll go too!" Kevin and Howie said at the same time.
"Will you bring Carly?" Stacey asked with a grin.
"I don't know yet...I'll give you some news!" Howie said.
Brian looked at Amber to see if she wanted to go. He had talk to her about it earlier in the day but she didn't really answer. She wasn't really happy about that dinner but she thought it'd goes better if she'd do everything Brian would like to. She nodded yes with a little smile.
"We'll go too!" Brian said taking Amber's hand into his.
"Nick?!" Stacey said looking at him.
"Hum...no...I'm busy Saturday..." he said not really wanting to be in the same room than Amber again.
They continued talking for a while and they went back to some games again. They were all having fun, even Nick who wasn't caring about Amber now. She wasn't looking really happy but no one seemed to realize it. When it was the closing time, really late that night, they went back to their house, most of them happy of their evening, especially Stacey who had a blast.
