Nick drove to his family house with tons of thoughts running in his head. He was happy about how Rachel reacted when he broke up but in another hand, he was sad. He had no one to talk to, no one with who he could share his feelings because everyone hated him now. No one had called him since a couple of days so he knew that everyone probably had learned what happened. The loneliness he was feeling was so painful. He knew he had to change his mind for the next days. He arrived in front of the house and walked in, putting a smile accross his face to not show is sadness. In his family, only BJ knew about it and it was enough. He didn't want to have his family on his back for now...because all the guys of the band would probably do it the next week.
"Nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Angel screamed running to him.
"Hey angie!" Nick smiled hugging his little sister. "How are ya doing sweetheart?"
"I'm fine! Beside that big math test I'll have tomorrow... " she replied pouting.
"Poor baby!" Nick laughed.
"Hey don't start this with me... I know you never went to school but it just mean that I'll be smarter than you!" Angel said sticking out her tongue.
"Yeah yeah!" Nick said walking to the kitchen. "Hey mommie!"
"Hi!!!" Jane exclaimed kissing him on the cheek and hugging him. "What is my little man doing here?"
"He was just coming to say hi..." Nick laughed.
"Nah...he wants more cookies!" Angel giggled. "Sorry...I ate them all!"
"Ah too bad! Then I'll have to eat...you!!!" he replied tickling her sister who was screaming.
"Okay you two! Angel... you have an exam tomorrow... I didn't see you study really much since you came back from school... I think it'd be a great idea to do it now..." Jane said looking at Angel with authority.
"Alright mom!" Angel sighed. "But Nick, come and tell me bye before to leave..."
"Of course I will!" Nick said smiling.
"Alright see ya later!" his little sister said leaving Nick alone with his mother.
"Where is everyone???" Nick asked surprised that his sister and his mother were alone in the house.
"They went to a movie tonight! Leslie and BJ were bugging your father to go so... "
"Oh I see! That's great... "
"And how are ya ??? What happened to you... We didn't hear from ya since the last time you came!" his mother said sitting at the table.
"I'm sorry! I didn't have much time for myself... and I went to Canada two days ago..." he answered sitting too.
"Oh! You talked to Rachel then?" Jane asked with a worry look.
"Yup!"
"And how did it go? did you..."
"Yeah... actually...it went pretty great!" Nick giggled. "I wouldn't live this another time but I mean... she didn't scream or slap me..."
"I hope so!" Jane exclaimed. "But how did she reacted?"
"She cried a little.. but that's all... she knew it was coming.. "
"Oh! Poor little girl!"
"I think she'll get trough it... and we ended up in good terms... I mean, we're not the best friends ever but I know that if we see each other again... she won't try to kill me!" Nick laughed.
"That's great! She sounds like a nice girl!" Jane said.
"Yeah she is!" Nick said lost in his thoughts. "Too nice for a bad boy like me..." he thought. "But I guess it was just a bad timing... "
"Yes it probably is! Anyway...you did what you wanted to do! And I'm proud you didn't do it by the phone... "
"I don't know what pushed me to go there... I didn't want to hurt her even more I guess..." Nick said thinking.
"That's nice from you!" Jane smiled. "And any other news beside that?"
"Well... I want to join Aaron on his tour for the next couple of days... until Saturday or something..."
"Really???" Jane exclaimed happily. "He would love this! He was feeling really lonely these days because any of me or your father is with him... your oncle is on tour with him. I talked to him yesterday and he told me he really missed you!"
"I miss him a lot too! That's why I want to go with him for a while. Anyway, I don't have anything else to do... " Nick said. It was half true. He really did miss his brother but he also wanted to get away from this city as fast as possible.
"This is marvelous! When would you like to go?"
"As soon as possible! I was thinking about tonight... he's in New York right now huh?"
" Yes he's in New York! That's a good idea...you would be there really early in the morning but you could sleep and then be with him during the day!"
"It'd be great! I should get going then... if I want to be there on time..." Nick said looking at the clock. "My flight is in 4 hours but I have to pack my things..."
"Oh yeah I know how much you like to pack!" Jane laughed.
"Exactly!" Nick replied getting up. "I didn't see Leslie since I came back... that's too bad..."
"She's not often here believe me! She's always out somewhere with her friends!" Jane sighed throwing her hands in the air. "So I don't know if you could have seen her anyway!"
"Ah this is the teenage years mom!" Nick ginned.
"I know I know!" Jane giggled.
"I gotto go now...Bye mom!" he said hugging her and kissing her on the cheek.
"Bye sweetie! Call me when you'll be there and tell me how things are going for Aaron... each time he calls me, he tell me that everything goes fine but I'm never sure if it's true or not..." Jane said with a smile.
"Alright I'll call ya!" Nick smiled as he left the kitchen and walked to Angel's bedroom. He stopped in the entrance of the room and looked his little sister studying. "Well well...it doesn't look really interesting!" he said sitting on the bed.
"Hey! I didn't see you coming!" she exclaimed going sit beside him.
"I was watching you...mom asked me to see if you were studying for real..." Nick grinned.
"Yeah yeah!" Angel laughed. "But it's true it's not interesting!! I understand everything..." she exclaimed.
"Then you'll have a good mark!"
"I know...like every other exams!" she laughed.
"Oh so it's going great in school?"
"Yes really great!!!"
"Good! I'm proud of you!" Nick said hugging his little sister. "I gotto go...I'm going to join Aaron for a while... do you want to say something to him? I could tell him..."
"You're joining Aaron???!?!??" Angel almost screamed.
"Yes!"
"Oooh ... tell him that ...I miss him!" she replied with a smile.
"Alright, I'll tell him!" Nick said touched by what she had just said. "Do you miss him as much me when I'm on tour?"
"No..." she said seriously.
"Ok..." Nick pouted and got up to leave.
"I miss you more!" Angel said as he was going to leave the bedroom.
"Ah I knew it!" Nick laughed. He turned back and hugged his little sister again. "I really gotto go now... I'll ask Aaron to call you...no I got a better idea...we'll call you both!"
"Okay! Bye Nick!"
"Bye Angie!" Nick said as he left.
*A little bit later at Nick*
Nick ran off of the stairs with his last bag full of clothes and gifts for Aaron. The door Bell rang 3 time before Nick get the chance to get to the door.
"I'm coming I'm coming ..."Nick whinned while he was walking to the door..."What the hell are you doing here?!?!"He screamed
"Calm down I just need to talk to you...."
"I don't need to talk to you so do me a favor and go AWAY forever!!!" Nick said slapping the door.
"Would you please stop being so selfish for a minute?!?!" Amber asked opening the door back
"Certainly not a slut like you no thanks!!"Nick replied
"Gosh Nick we're in the same fucking shit ok?!?!So don't blame me for everything! You got you part in this too..."Amber exclaimed angry
"Ho Poor little girl !!what?? you want me to cry for you!!well let me tell you something If you haven't open your big mouth we wouldn't be in this shit right now... I DIDN'T tell Bri YOU did tell him so stop crying cuz it's YOUR fault!"
"what?!?!he came over here??didn't he?!?!"Amber asked feeling nervous
"Ho he sure did!!!And he never wanna hear from me again!!satisfied?!?! you got what you wanted so now you can go!!"Nick yelled pointing the door.
"Sorry!!!" was all she managed to say
"So am I...So am I!!"
"But...that's not why I came here!"she exclaimed coming back to earth
"See I don't care what you came here for... I just want you to leave.. NOW!!"
"Why didn't you tell me that Leighanne cheated on Brian and that was the reason that she broke up?!?!" Amber asked very quickly
"what?!?!What did you ask?!?!"Nick asked with a little laugh..a nervous laugh
"I know why Leigh broke up with Brian... You should have told me!"
"It's wasn't of your bussiness...and I don't see why I should have told you..."Nick replied
"Because...I wouldn't have told him..at least that it was with you!!"
"Ho great!! It's now that you say it?!?!Amber there is NO word to express how much I hate you..." Nick said very angrily.
"Same thing here don't worry!!"she said sarcasticly
"Who told you about Leighanne and Brian??!?" he asked
"Her!!"
"what??She...Does she know about..?!" He asked not wanting to say the word *you and me having sex*
"Yeah she knows!!"
"If you told her amber I swear to god that I'll kill you right now with my own hands!!!!!"he said furious
"I didn't ok??!she knows I don't know how but she knows...I met her at Brian's place he wasn't there and she told me about her cheating on him!!"
"Great now she'll get back at me... How fun!!I love my life right now Ho yes I do!!!"
"Wathever!!!"Amber said walking to the door but on her way she fell on a suit case "Damm Nick where are you going?!?!"
"Huh??Away from you.."he responded..."I'm going see AC happy?!?!"
"AC?!?"
"My brother... you can leave now you know...huh??see ya.. Adios.."
At those words, Amber left, even more furious than she was when she arrived.
*Meanwhile*
Aj and Becky wanted to go out that night. They had called Howie and Carly and the two couple had decided to go play some bowling. Their bodyguards were with them in case something happened. But when they arrived, they noticed that it wasn't crowded ...only a few people were there.
"So do we play by team?" Howie asked as they got to their alley.
"Boys again Girls!" Aj shouted.
"Hum...I'm not sure if it's fair..." Becky wondered out loud.
"I know we're probably gonna win but... it's gonna be fun don't ya think?"
"Yeah it'll be fun to see YOU guys lost..." Carly laughed.
"Hey don't forget I'm the best at this... you're playing against the best bowler ever!" Aj said seriously.
"You won one time Bone...don't get a big head because of this!" Howie said giggling.
"Alright alright...let's play!" Carly replied.
The first game was almost over and the girls were beating the boys. They were all having fun even if the boys were a little angry to lose. They were trying to play as best as they could but it wasn't enough. Becky and Carly were too good for them. The game ended and the girls won with a lot of advance.
"Ah ah! Gotcha boys!" Becky shouted. "Gimme five girly!" she added clapping her hand in Carly's hand.
"We'll win the next one!" Aj replied like he didn't care.
"Yeah right Aj!! We beat you...we'll beat you again..and again...and again.." Carly responded giggling.
"Congratulation baby!" Howie said giving her a small kiss.
"At least one of you is happy for us.." Becky pouted.
"Aj don't like to lose ...you'll get use to it!" Howie laughed looking at Aj.
"Where have you learned to bowl like this???" Aj asked.
"Well first I want a kiss...then I'll explain to you.." Becky said with a grin.
"Alright alright... congratulation princess!" he smiled before to plant a long sweet kiss on her lips.
"Ok you two...get a room or come here..." Howie said.
"I'd prefer to get a room..." Aj grinned what made everyone burst out laughing. "But before I want to win at least one game!"
"Why don't we play by couple?" Carly suggested.
"Of course we'll play by couple... my lady is the best!" Aj said kissing her again.
"Yeah that's because I used to go play with my grandmother when I was younger... every Sunday afternoon... grandma and I were going to play bowling!" Becky laughed thinking about those old days. "But it was fun...maybe I should make it as a career..."
"Hum I think you're a better dancer..." Carly replied smiling.
"Yeah that's what I thought too..." Becky said.
"Gosh I'm with the best dancer and best bowler ever..isn't it great?" Aj asked.
"Oh yeah Bone that's wonderful!" Howie said sarcasticaly. "He never told you Becky but... that's the two qualities he looks on a woman!"
"Gosh... he doesn't ask for too much!" Becky laughed.
"Hey I'm someone really simple!" Aj said seriously.
"I know that!" Becky smiled. "So ...do we play?"
Becky and Aj won the second game but Howie and Carly were really close to win. Aj was jumping and dancing everywhere, saying that they won.
"Ok Aj calm down!" Howie said.
"We won and you lost! Na na ne na nere!" Aj replied.
"We know!" Carly laughed. "That's alright you can stop now!"
"Ok ok! Let me express myself!" he said sitting next to Becky. "Hey babe we won!"
"Huh for real? Damn I thought we lost!" she answered teasing him.
"For the next game why don't we change the team again?" Howie asked. "It could be... Becky and I against Carly and Aj?"
"Yeah it'd be cool!!!!" Becky agreed.
"You don't want to play with me again???" Carly asked Howie, pretending to be hurt.
"He wants to win..that's why! Don't worry, you'll have enough time to play together later.." Aj said before to shout an evil laugh.
"Man what a dirty mind you have... " Carly laughed.
"I know! Anyway, come here Carly...we'll beat those two who say that they love us but don't show it.." Aj said teasing Howie and Becky.
For the last game, Carly and Aj surprised the two others and won the game. They were both all hyper and kept saying they had won.
"Man I thought we would win..." Howie said.
"It's your lost sweetheart!" Carly smiled with victory. "That's what happen when you push back your lover..."
"Yeah that's what happen!!!" Aj repeated sticking out his tongue to Becky.
"Ok ok..we got our lesson I think!" Becky laughed. "Congratulation!"
"Thank you miss!" Aj replied. "Well, that was quite an exciting evening... we should go home now.."
"And have a really exciting night huh??" Carly asked teasing Aj.
"Hey you're not suppose to say it... but yes that's what I thought... " he said before to burst out laughing and wrapping his arms around Becky's waist.
"Yeah it's getting late we should go back.." Howie said. "Bye you guys!" he added as Aj and Becky left.
"Bye you two! Good night....." Aj replied cracking up.
"Oh god!" Carly laughed desperate.
"He's like this... you probably already had noticed it..." Howie said. "So... are you coming at my house tonight?"
"I think he's got too much influence on you!" she laughed. "But yes it'd be great..."
"Great!!!" Howie smiled as they walked hand in hand to his car.
