*Saturday morning*
"You're sure you wanna go there?!?! He's not really in mood you know!!" Becky said.
"Yes I'm sure Beck!!I just wanna check on him... if he don't want me there I'll come back here!!" Naomie replied.
"Yeah well maybe he will feel better after!" Becky said not really convinced
"Ho comon Beck!!" Nam laughed. "I just wanna be there for him ya know!!he's a friend!!I won't be long!!an hour on top!"
"Yeah yeah well check your back!!!Who know what he might do to you!" Becky warned her friend
"Umm sounds good to me!!"Naomie laughed.
"NAM!!!!" becky yelled slapping her friend on the shoulder.
"Ho I'm just kidding Take it easy !!"
"Yeall well everybody know that a girl in love can do a lotttt of things for the one she love!!" Becky confirmed.
"Shhhhh I don't want Aj to know how I feel about Nick"
"Ahhh Nam when are you gonna tell Nick how you feel??I think it's time now!!You're falling really hard! you're in love with him!!It's not just a simple crush!!you're in love!!"Becky said seriously
"Haa don't start Beck It's like your on 'repeat'!!I can't tell him now, he's too confused!!"Naomie laughed
"Well at least you find this funny!!" Becky said in despair.
"Ho Yeah!!!" she laughed again "Listen Beck I know what I'm doing and what I have to do!!Don't worry about me and trust me!"
"Alright alright If you say so!!!and If you're so sure of what you're doing!!I trust you!!It's just that I don't wanna see you get hurt! You've been trought a lot lately"
"I know!!!I love ya you're so good to me Beck you're the best friend I could ever have" Naomie said hugging her bestfriend.
"Hoo thanks!!I love ya too girl!!"Becky replied "I'll ask Aj to give you a ride to Nick's!"
"Thanks!!"Naomie said back.
Becky walked to the living room where Aj was, while Naomie sat a the table thinking about what Becky just said to her. Maybe she should tell Nick how she felt about him....but that's not what she wanted..He had just broke up with his girlfriend and he lost his best friend because he slept with HIS girlfriend...that wasn't the good timing...Did he need something more to think of??Certainly not! She would wait and see! that's all she could do for now anyway!the last thing she wanted at this moment was to loose him. She thought about this during the flyte direction Florida and always ended at the same conclusion... She didn't want to loose Nick.She was staying in Florida for the next day before they were going back on tour...
"God in person!!!"Aj shouted teasing Naomie
"What?!" she laughed
"You're very brave to go at Nick's place!!Even if it was for a second I wouldn't go!" Aj laughed
"It can't be that bad!!"
"Well I saw him last night and let me tell ya..He awfull look tired..well he looks like someone who lost everything in fact..." Aj said realizing that Nick had lost everything he always wanted..his bestfriend..he lost Brian...his brother and Aj felt terribly bad about it..he wished he could do something for his lil bro.
"Well.. I'll see If I can do something for him!!" Naomie said.
"NAOMIE!!!" Aj yelled teasing her.
"What?? Ha Alex I'm not like you !!!" she laughed knowing why Aj had reacted like this way.
"Yeah yeah wathever!!Every girl in this world wants to get in Nick's bed once in their life!!"
"Wathever!!Can we go now??"Naomie asked not wanting to let him know he was right about her..
"Alright alright let's go!!" he laughed
"Be safe Nam call us when you wanna come back!" Becky said
"I promise!!"she laughed walking to Aj's porch outside.
"Bye Honey I love you" Aj said kissing Becky goodbye
"Bye !!I 'll see you in a few" Becky said with a grin
"Umm I can't wait"
On their way to Nick's house Aj andNaomie were arguing on the music they would listen to! After they decided that they would listen the local radio station, Naomie told Aj how her vacation at her family's house went and what she did. She told him everything..except that she had thought about Nick 58 minutes/ hours.
"Here we are!!! the wonderful world of Nicky Carter!"Aj said looking at the empty house after he passed the gate that he knew the number.
"Wow!!!And he's living alone in this huge house?!?!" Naomie asked
"Yup! All alone with his dogs!! Before Mandy was living with him but she's gone now so he lives alone!" Aj confirmed
"Well he must feel lonely!!"she laughed nervously.
"Your here to change thing aren't you??!" he asked.
"well... No ..well yes..well.. Just for a couple of hours I mean he's a friend and I just wanna change his mind and make him laugh!!That's all!"
"That's all I meant Nam! you call me If you need anything!!"Aj said.
"Thanks you're a sweetheart!! Becky is lucky to have you!!" Naomie said hugging him friendly
"Haa you're too sweet!!Have a good time darling!!well...try!" he laughed "And Hey...don't let him hurt you ok?!?!He can be really rought when he's sad!!" Aj said really seriously
"Yeah ok!!I'm strong enough Alex!!"she laughed knowing that Aj wasn't talking about hitting her..but hurting her verbably "Thank again!" she said waving bye to him and walking to Nick's door.
She took a deep breath before to knock at the door. What if he wasn't happy to see her?? What If wanted to be alone?? She was also scared of how he would look. Was she strong enoght to see him so hurt?!? To face the truth?!?! She shook her head and knocked at the door.
"If it's Amber I swear to God I'll knock her off" Nick said to himself walking to the door...when he opened it was the last person he never expected.
"Hey Nick!" Naomie said smilling...this smile was hiding the pain she was feeling of seeing him like this...it was killing her! His eyes were full of pain!!She could tell that he haven't slept since a couple of days..he seemed so tired..so hurted.
"Hey Nam watcha doing here?!?!" he asked letting her in.
"Just wanted to see you!! I'm in Florida since this morning!!" she explained.
"Hey thats cool!" He tried to smile.
"You're not happy to see me?!"She asked faking a hurt look.
"Are you happy to see me?!?!" He asked...he was sure that she was there to tell him that what he had done with Amber wasn't right and bla bla bla...
"Of course I am Nick!!What's wrong ?!"
"Then I am too!!" he smiled giving her a hug "I'm really happy to see you" he said holding her tight..she could feel that he was scared and that scared her.
"So how ya doing?!?!" she asked when they broke apart
"Well... I'm fine!!and you?? Had a good vacation?"
"Yeah yeah... was fun.."she told him feeling stupid
"Well I can feel that you know about what happen with me and Amber don't you?!" he asked with a giggle.
"Heee I know yeah... But I'm not here to judge you!" she told him.
"I know it was wrong I don' know why I did this to Brian.." he said hating hiself.
"Hey Hey it's ok Nick I'm here as a friend.. I wanna help you to change your mind!!" she told him.
"I just can't erase this image of Brian so angry...It's driving me crazy Nam you don't know how much..."
"I understand Nick..." she said taking him in her arms..she felt so good with him in her arms holding her tight like this.
"I'm glad your here" he said smilling
"I'll make you forget your problem you'll see!! I can be a real goofy when I want!!" she said.
"Ho can't wait to see that!!" he laughed..that was one of the first time he laughed sincerely since all the shit happened.
They passed the afternoon to talk and Naomie made him laugh his ass off...for some minutes she could see stars in his eyes but the next minutes she was seeing pain again..but he was happy to have her with him...to have her to changed his mind.
*Meanwhile*
"Okay I'm back baby!" Aj said kissing Becky.
"Hey! I called Howie... he and Carly will come!" she smiled.
"And Amber?"
"What Amber??" Becky asked confused.
"She's staying at Carly's house... is she coming?"
"Oh! No! Carly told me that she wants to be alone and...she's probably scared to see Nick or Brian..."
"Yeah I can understand that. Alright then! We can ask Brian to come over?" Aj asked.
"Yeah sure! I don't think Nick is coming... he knows everyone will talk to him about what happened and... he probably don't want to live this yet..." Becky said.
"You're right! I'll call Brian then..." Aj said taking the phone.
"Oh and Kevin and Stacey are coming too!" she smiled.
"Is something going on between them?"
"I dunno..." Becky smiled again. "It'd be great!"
"Don't start rumours Beck..." Aj laughed. "Oh hey Brian! how ya doing?"
"I'm fine..." Brian said. "What's up?"
"Well we're having a small party tonight... we were wondering if you'd like to come!"
"Oh well...hum...I don't know..." he replied, scared to see either Nick or Amber there.
"Ah come Bri! It'd be cool! The two you don't want to see won't be there..." Aj said.
"You swear?" Brian asked.
"Yeah sure! There will be... Becky and I, Kevin and Stacey, Ashley and Paul, Howie and Carly... and...Naomie...I think that's all..." Aj said thinking.
"Hum...alright I'll show up..." Brian sighed not really wanting to go.
"Great! We'll wait for ya! See ya man!"
"Bye!"
"Rok is coming!" Aj said all smile. Then he realized something he had forgot to tell him. "Shit!"
"What's wrong?" Becky asked.
"I forgot to tell him that Leighanne is coming...." Aj sighed blaming himself. Becky laughed at him.
"How could you forget this?" she exclaimed laughing.
"I don't know...I just wasn't thinking about it... "
"Well don't worry...it's better if he doesn't know it yet..he would have changed his mind..." Becky said kissing him on the cheek. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him.
"How much time do we have before they arrive?" he asked with a grin.
"A few hours ... " Becky answered wrapping her arms around his neck.
"hours huh?"
"Yes sir!" she laughed.
"Alright !!!" he shouted before to plant a long and passionate kiss on her lips. The moved to the bedroom and made love.
*Three hours later*
"So how was he doing?" Aj asked Naomie when she entered in the house.
"Oh well... I've already seen him happier...but he was okay!" she said.
"He didn't hurt you or threw shit on you?"
"No he was a real sweetheart!" Naomie smiled. "I think I changed his mind a little..."
"What did you two do?????" Becky asked suspicious.
"We had fun...oh god yeah!" Naomie teased her.
"What??!?!"
"I'm just playing! We just fooled around... it was pretty funny though!" Naomie laughed. "I think I've never said that much stupidities in a day!"
"That's cool..." Aj said.
"He was really tired too! He probably fell asleep as soon as I left!" Naomie said.
"You sure you didn't....I mean...!??!?" Becky asked.
"Shut up Beck!! We didn't have sex ! Damn..." Naomie laughed.
"Alright alright... too bad..." Becky sighed. "I would like to have some gossips about Nick's underwears..."
"Nick in his underwears is scary...believe me!" Aj exclaimed.
"Ah jealousy..." Becky teased.
"I'm not jealous of Nick..." Aj pouted.
"And you don't have too...I love you!" Becky smiled and gave him a little kiss.
"Love ya too princess!" Aj replied.
The others start arriving and they talked of how excited they were to go back in Europe for the next few days. After an hour, Brian finally showed up.
"Hey Rok!" Aj said. "How ya doing man?"
"Alright I guess.." he smiled. He froze when he saw Leighanne talking with Stacey and Kevin. He fixed her for a while, not realizing she was there.
"Oh hey...I'm sorry man...I totally forgot to tell you she was coming..." Aj said hoping he wouldn't leave.
"It's okay I guess... but what is she doing here?" he asked.
"Oh well better ask her yourself!" Aj smiled when he saw she was walking toward them.
"Hey Brian!" she said smiling.
"Hey..." he said looking down.
"How are you?"
"Umm... not bad..." he answered.
"You know... I've learned about you and Amber...I'm really sorry you have to get through this a second time..."
"It's not your fault..." he said.
"Well a little don't you think??" she asked.
"Maybe.." he replied not really paying attention. He was wondering what he was doing there. He was able to talk to his ex...who had done almost the same thing than Amber...and he wasn't mad at her.
"Are you alright?" Leighanne asked seeing that he was looking preoccupied.
"Yeah yeah... " he said with a little smile. "What are you doing here? You're not suppose to film your new movie?"
"Yeah I'm suppose to...but it have been postpone for next week...I don't really know why..." she sighed.
"Okay!" he said with a little laugh. "Can I ask you a question?" he asked. It was a question that was bugging him since what happened with Amber and Nick. He had to ask someone right now and it happened to be her.
"Yeah sure...what's bugging ya?"
"Can you tell me if I'm doing something wrong ? I mean... why am I doing for all the girls running away like that?" he sighed.
"Oh!" she said surprised. "I don't think you're doing something wrong... "
"Then what is it???" he exclaimed sadly.
"It's probably because you didn't find your perfect girl... you know, you're probably the best boyfriend a girl can have!" she said. She then realized what she just had said and smiled. "I'm sorry...it's a little stupid to hear this from me..."
"It's okay..." he replied looking down again. They continued talking for a bit and then they joined the others and talked about things and others. The evening went great and everyone had fun.
"If you want to talk or anything...you can call me.." Leighanne told Brian as she gave him a paper with her cell phone.
"Alright..." Brian smiled taking the paper.
Everyone left early because they had a lot of packing to do since they were leaving the next morning.
*Meanwhile at Carly's*
Amber was laying on her bed thinking about something that was on her mind since the last day she had seen Brian. She haven't talk of this to anyone because she wasn't sure if it was what she really wanted. But it was now clear in her head. She could not handle living with Brian and Nick around her. She had to leave. At least for a while. He wanted time to think alone, he would have it. She had to get away too. She knew the tension between three of them would be unbearable. And if he really would like her back... he would know what to do. Her decision was final now and she knew what she had to do. She called Fatima and told her what she had decided.
"You're sure you want to do this?" Fatima asked.
"Yeah definitely... it will be better for me and for everyone..." Amber said sadly. "But I'll stay until you find someone else alright? And I'll try to help you to find the new dancer."
"Okay girl if that's what you want. You're sure? Really??" Fatima asked again.
"Yeah!" Amber replied with a little laugh. "Stop asking...I don't want to change my mind..."
"Alright! But maybe it will take time ... most of the dancers I know are already touring somewhere... but I'll do my best to make it fast."
"Thanks a lot!"
"But hey Amber...what if everything get back well with Bri? I mean..I can't cancelled someone because of this..." Fatima said sorry.
"I don't think things will get back like it used to... " Amber sighed.
"Okay then... I'll make a few call...and I'll give you news! But you'll come with us in Europe right?"
"Yeah I will! I can stay for the two next weeks if you want...well I'll try... " Amber said.
"Well like you said... everyone will be tense and I'll try to find someone fast... " Fatima sighed. "You know now why I've told you to not get involved with the guys! I know they are charming but look what happen now..."
"I know..I'm sorry Fatima..." Amber replied almost crying.
"It's okay... I understand why you're doing this. It's not the first time I see something like this!"
"But hey... don't tell anyone for now alright? I'll tell them myself..." Amber said.
"Okay honey! well I gotta go now, my little boy needs me!" Fatima said. "I'll give you news as soon as I can!"
"Ok thanks a lot! Bye!"
