*A few days later*
The girls we're in the backyard of the house, relaxing and taking some sun, talking about everything and anything.They we're only the three of them,Naomie, Becky and Ashley.
"I really like this place Nam!!!" Ashley shouted "If your uncle wants to get rid of it!!I'm first in line!" she exclaimed
"No Way!!I am!!" Naomie laughed
"Ah... How come? Your thinking about moving in Florida?!"Ashley asked
"Maybe!!I'm not sure yet! I really like California...and my father's house but... you know!! you're all here, I'm alone there so... I'm thinking about moving here yes!" Naomie explained
"Oh That's cool!!"Ahsley said smilling.
"Yeah well maybe it's becasue she have more than US as inspiration to move here!!why don't you ask her!" Becky said not moving from her chair
"Oh Really?!?who is it?!"
"It's not true!!Stop with that Beck!" Naomie said
"Is it Nicky?!?"Ashley asked.
"Hell No!!!" Naomie yelled.
"Wathever!"Becky laughed.
"Oh really??!That could be so cute!!Nam and Nicky Pooh!!Awww!" Ashley said playing.
"Would you two stop this right now! He's just a friend! Thats it!"Naomie told them.
"Alright then, tell me babe! When we got back from the charity event, you two we're kind of drunk and.."Becky started
"Kind of?!?Nick could hardly walk!!I saw him in the hallway!"Ashley laughed
"Don't tell me nothing happend!" Becky said.
"I didn't went in his room Beck!" Naomie said.
"I saw you!"Ashley exlcaimed.
"Alright maybe I did but.."She started.
"But you had sex and it wasn't good so you don't want to tell us!!" Becky laughed.
"Shut up would you?!I was there ok but.." Naomie started again
"But?!?" the two girl asked in harmony
"But nothing...nothing happend ...geez... I went to his room alright!! He asked to when I was about to open my door... our room are one in front of the other..what's the matter?!?" Naomie asked.
"Why did he asked you to go IN his room?!" Becky asked
"Cuz he wanted to talk... he was drunk and sad cuz Bri didn't stop starring at him during the evening and he was sad!! So I tought that maybe it could help him to talk a lil bit more!" Naomie explained
"And??"they both said
"And we got in the room he went to the bathroom and when he came back he layed down on the bed and bang! he fell asleep!!so I just turned back and went in my room and then..guess what? I went to sleep!!to bad we didn't had sex ... Ohh Sorry girl no details about Nick pants!" Naomie continued angry
"Ohhh he fell asleep!!" Becky said. Ashley looked at her with a stop-that look
"You're happy now you know the whole story and YES he fell asleep!!"
"Why are you so angry Nam?!?!?That was just a simple question!"Ashley said
"Nobody can trust anybody huh??? I've told you I didn't have sex with him... and you didn't trust me. Brian can't trust Nick when he said that he's sorry and that he need him to forgive him ect ect ect always the same fucking story!!" Naomie shouted.
"Yeah we know that but it's not the same.. I mean we were only playing with ya... but what nick did wasn't really.."Ashley started
"He's really sincere when he says that he's sorry. I mean , I've talked with him, he confessed me all his feeling. He trust me, I know that he is sincere when he says that he's sorry!!" Naomie shouted
"We know that Nam but try to.." Becky started.
"No you just don't know... you CAN'T know... I AM the only one who have talked with him. Nobody else does. Nobody listen to him...nobody but me... So don't tell that you know how he feel ...Did you just tried to tell him that you were there for him??nah! None of you did it..maybe Alex did... well I did... I was there for him...as a friend... In this fucking story it's always poooooooooor little Brian...well damn you Brian... Brian had acted like a REAL jerk to everybody the past month... you shouldn't try to protect him of wathever cuz he've acted like a jerk with Alex!" Naomie yelled before the slamming the back door and ran to the living room..
"Ouffff...." Becky sighed
"Gosh...she does have a BIGG BIGG thing for Nicky boy!!" Ashley said out of words
"She's right...!!She just try to protect Nick.... and me...Nobody did talked to Nick exept her...she was the only one... and Brian is a real jerk toAlex ...I have to talk to him about it!" Becky said getting up
"To Alex?!!!!" Ashley demanded
"No Brian, He can't do that to my man anymore!!I have to take care of some serious bussiness!!I'll be back later!!If Alex call tell him I'm gone to..the grocery store... I'm not at Brian's place!!alright?!?!"
"No prob!!!"Ashley told her before she left.
**Meanwhile, at Brian's**
Brian woke up really late that day. He wasn't sleeping really well. He was always waking up because of nightmares. He walked in the kitchen, greeted by Tyke who was jumping all around him. He took it in his arms and walked to the answering machine where a little red light was flashing.
"What is it?" he said out loud as he pushed the button.
"Hey little man! It's mom again. You didn't call us back and I was wondering if everything was alright! We can't wait to see you! Call soon! I love you!" her mom said.
"Damnit!" he shouted smacking his forehead. "I totally have forgotten!" He rapidely took the phone and dialed his parent's house number.
"Hi?" the warm voice of his mother said.
"Hi mommy! It's Brian!"
"Hey!! How are you?" she said happily.
"I'm doing alright...I'm sorry I didn't call you before...I've totally forgotten you had called..." he apologized.
"It's alright! You were busy?"
"No not really...I just...forgot..."
"Okay!" his mom said with little giggle. "So, how was your trip in Europe? Everything went fine?"
"Yeah! Went great!" he lied. He had hated this trip.
"That's good! How are the other guys doing?"
"They are doing alright! We're all happy of the vacations!"
"I'm sure you are! So when are you coming ???" his mother asked.
"Around December 20th I think...depend when Kevin wants to come..."
"I'm happy we'll spend Chritmas with you! It's been a long time since we haven't got the family all together!"
"Yes I know! Umm mom...I have to tell you that Amber won't come.." he said with a sigh.
"Oh how come?"
"We're not together anymore... " he sighed after a pause.
"Oh... I see... are you alright? Do you want to talk about it or..."
"No no...I'm okay.." he cut her off. "You'll have your little man only for you at Christmas!" he added trying to sound happy.
"Yes that's right. Well I hope you're doing okay!"
"I'm doing just fine!"
"Okay! So we're expecting you here in 2 weeks? Around December 20th?"
"Yes that's right. Well I'll call you before! I'm just waiting for Kevin to know when he'd like to go.."
"Alright! Your father and I can't wait to see you!" his mom said what made Brian smiled.
"I miss you a lot too!" Brian replied. "But I have some shopping to do and call back Harold so..."
"No problem! I love you!"
"I love you too mom! Bye!" Brian hung up.
*A little bit later*
Becky parked her rental car in Brian's driveway, thinking about what she was about to tell him.She knocked at the door and waited for an answer
"Becky?!?" Brian asked suprise to see her when he opened the door.
"No, humm I sell drugs.. and I tought about it and.. I think that you need some!"she joked
"Hahah comon in!!" He laughed lettin her in "So what are you up here?!?" he asked
"Well you see.. I was at Nick's place...we had that kind of sex that doesn't exist anymore so I was near your place so... I decide to stop by to see if you wanted to had wild sex with me like Nickers and I just had!!" Becky said seriously,but joking
"It's not funny Becky!" Brian said seriously
"Oh you don't believe me?!?!Call him he'll told you!!Well in fact it's weird that you don't believe that shot cuz you don't stop telling AJ that Me and Nick have sex so...why not this time?!?!AJ not here is it why?!" Becky asked becoming angry.
"Wh...What??What's wrong?" Brian asked confused
"You don't see my point?!"
"Not really!" he said
"Damm you Brian Littrell!"she said
"What?!Listen Beck I'm not in mood for arguing!"
"Don't care! you listen to me!!Brian I know you have been trought something really heavy... but it's not Aj's fault... can't you stop beeing such a jerk to him?"
"It's not my fault.... his just always on Nick's side... he don't realize that he could have been you in Nick's bed!" Brian said
"I'll never be in Nick's bed Brian!"
"Yeah well Amber never tought she would!"Briand told her
"Maybe she had a reason why she did this!"
"Are you trying to tell me that it's my fault??"Brian asked seating on the couch
"Well no they have they're part of responsabilities in that but you have it too!"she said
"Can't you see that he probably jump on her?!?!"
"You really think that??well I don't think so..they we're both drunk Brian..."
"Ok see... If you would be drunk... then you'd meet Nick in a bar...you'd talk, dance everything...then you'd go to his house for some reason that we don't know....Would you sleep with him knowing that you have a boyfrind home that wait for you and love you??or would you sleep on the couch??" Brian asked
"I can't answered that Brian!!Cuz Aj never did something to make me go in a bar alone and drank that much! you pushed Amber in Nick's arm.. If it wasn't Nick it would have be somene else...maybe a killer! Who knows?!!"
"Are you kidding me?!" Brian said.
"Hee No...I'm really serious Brian... you should think about it! Nick is really sorry... You should talk to Naomie... she will tell you how he feels!"
"I don't care..does he wondered how I would feel when I learned that?"
"Guess not at the moment! But you're his big bro Brian... " Becky said trying to convince him
"I was... he's nothing for me now!"Brian said
"I can't change your mind Brian... "Becky sighed
"Nop you can't!!" e said
"But one thing... STOP actink like you do with AJ... I won't sleep with Nick!!"
"You better...cuz I will have to hate him more!!" He laughed
"Yeah well... I miss you guys... I mean..you...Nick...me... together..playing games!!You remeber don't you??"Becky asked hoping that it would make Brian realize how much him and Nick we're important for each other
"Yeah!" he said with no emotion
"I just shared a lil time with you...you two have grown together and..."
"Becky... stop... you're wasting your time! I won't change my mind... not now... I'm not ready yet!"
"So someday you will?!"
"Don't know beck!" Brian said sadly
"Alrigh alright!!but stop playing with Aj I don't find this funny!"she laughed a little walking to the door as he followed her
"I will.. and..I'm sorry... I didn't meant to be that rude... tell him this ok... he wants to kill me so.. "
"I will!!take care Bri!" she said hugging him and walking away.
Brian spent all the afternoon thinking about what Becky had told him. It was like hunting him. After dinner, he finally decided to change his mind and went to rent some movies. He put a hat on and sunglasses so he wouldn't be reconized. He walked in the video store and walked straightly to his favorite kind of movies...horror movies! He walked in the lanes, looking at all the movies to see wich ones he'd like to watch when he reconized the short dark haired girl next to him.
"Um..Alika?" he asked not really sure if he had the name right.
"Yeah...may I help you?" she asked staring at him.
"Oh sorry!" he said getting his sunglasses off. "I'm.."
"Brian! Hi!" she said happily. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm looking for some movies..."
"Oh I see! You like horror movies too?" she said smiling.
"Love them!" he smiled back.
"What's your fave? My classic is..Carrie! It's not really scary but..I've always loved it!" she said showing him the movie cover.
"Really? Well my fave is the one where the guy kill his bestfriend..." he said not really realizing what he was saying.
"What?"
"Huh? Oh what am I saying!" he said with a little laugh. "My fave is The Shinning!"
"Um...it's great but not better. Carrie is my fave!"
"I never saw it..."
"You what?? You're kidding me? Come on, take this home and watch it!" Alika exclaimed giving him the box of the movie. "You have to see this once in your life!"
"Alright alright!" Brian laughed. The two of them were in the middle of the lane, and kep talking about their favourite movies and the one they disliked. After a little a little while, Brian got an idea.
"Hey, why don't you come at my house, we could watch the movies together?!?" he asked her.
"Really?" she said with a huge smile. "It'd be great! but...are you sure you want company?"
"Yeah sure! And, we'll be both on our side watching the same movies so... "
"That's right..." she chuckled. "Well it'd be great!"
"Good! So wich one do we take?" he asked. "Beside Carrie and The Shinning of course.."
"Um... well I don't think I'll be able to watch a ton of movies but... what about...Freddy!?!?"
"Oh that's old stuff!" Brian giggled. "But yeah why not! It's been a while since I've seen it!"
"Cool!!" Alika shouted happily and excited to spend the evening with Brian.
"Alright let's go!" he said with a beautiful smile. They paid the movies and walked to Brian's house that was near the store.
"So you're from Orlando?" Brian asked as they walked.
"No I was born in Ohio. But I moved here cause it's the best place to get a job! It's here that all the pop artists and groups are so...best place to get a job for dancing!!"
"That's right. So with who did you worked before us?"
"I didn't work with a lot of artists for now. My first contract was with Mandy..you know, Nick's ex girlfriend. That's why I know Nick. And then I went with LFO."
"You were dancing with Mandy???? You know Nick??" Brian exclaimed.
"Yeah! Why?" she laughed.
"Poor you!"
"You don't like her?"
"Um..Not really. She was such a bitch with all of us!"
"Oh well I don't really know her. She wasn't really my friend. I didn't care about her. I had my job and that was it. But it was great!" Alika said.
"I see! And why you went with LFO if it was great?"
"Um...well... something happened and Mandy wasn't really happy about it. So .. since LFO had offered me a job for their next tour and that Mandy wasn't touring really much... I decided to take the opportunity to ...ran away." she said with a little laugh.
"I'm not sure if I understand everything but I'm sure it was better with LFO!" Brian laughed.
"Oh yeah! We were more occupied! Mandy isn't really famous for now she was doing a few appearance and a really small tour... it wasn't a lot of work!"
"So you're a working person?"
"Yeah! I don't like when I have nothing to do! I have to move!" she said.
"I'm like this too!" he replied. "Tell me, how old are you? Cause... I can't put an age on your face." he asked with a little laugh.
"I'm 21"
"Really!? You look older!"
"Yeah I know...that's what everyone's telling me!" she smiled.
"Here we are!" Brian said showing her his house.
They walked in the house and Brian offered her something to drink so they went in the kitchen.
"So... what have you done in Europe?" Alika asked tyring to make conversation.
"I got bored..." with a little laugh.
"You didn't go out with the guys? Because I've heard that you often go in partying in clubs and stuff like that..." she said taking the glass of wine Brian was handing her.
"Yeah... Howie, Aj and Kev often go clubbing but I'm not really into that...sometimes I follow them but I stay at the table and drink.."
"So you're 4...what is Nick doing during this time?" she asked.
"He's fucking my girlfriend..." Brian said as she spit out the wine on him. "Ouff... take it easy..it was my girlfriend!" he added with a laugh.
"Oh I'm so sorry!!!" she exclaimed.
"For what? The wine or my girlfriend?" he asked laughing.
"Well...both... but the wine...I'm sorry!"
"It's ok! I have tons of t-shirts in my closet!" he said taking off his t-shirt.
"Oh my god!" Alika thought seeing Brian's naked chest. "I never thought he was so damn sexy!"
"I'll be back in a jiffy...you can go in the cinema room...it's just there" he said pointing a door.
"Alright...I'll wait for you.." she replied walking to the room. Brian looked at her butt as she walked away and ran into his room to change. He came back 2 minutes after and saw Alika sitting on one of the big couch of the cinema room.
"I'm back!" he shouted entering in the small theater. "Wich movie do we start with?"
"Um... I don't know. What about... Freddy? Keep the two best for the end..."
"No problem!" Brian said putting the movie in the VCR.
They watched the three movies in a row and at the end of the evening, Brian walked her to the door.
"So how did you like Carrie???" Alika asked smiling.
"She's a freak!!! I hope know one really have those power cause... I don't want to meet them!" Brian laughed.
"Me neither! The end is really scary don't you think?"
"Yeah... when she pulled out the hand of her mother... yuck!" he answered remembering that part of the movie.
"Yes I know!" she laughed. "Um...can I ask you something?" she asked when she walked out the door.
"Yes sure ..what?"
"Did Nick really slept with your girlfriend?"
"Good night Alika.." he replied with giggle starting to close the door.
"Um..Ok! Good night! Thanks for the evening!"
"No problem! Bye!" he said closing the door.
"I'm gonna find the truth anyway... Don't worry..." she whispered to herself, walking to her car.
*During this time, at the girl's house*
Naomie was alone in the little house of his uncle listening to some music trying to forget everything that was happening around her these days. She was in her uncle's bedroom, laying on the bed when someone knocked on the door.
"Yes??" she shouted.
"Can I talk to you?" Becky asked from the other side of the door.
"Yeah ! come in.."
"So...what are you doing?" she demanded sitting on the bed next to Naomie.
"I'm playing football...wanna play with me?" Naomie answere a little rudly.
"What's wrong with you Nam??"
"Nothing..."
"Yes, something must be wrong because you're not the same since you hang out with Nick!"
"What? What are you saying? That doesn't make any sense!"
"Oh yes it does! You're always on one's guard! I hear you crying in the night... what's happening to you? You're little fit of this morning because of a simple joke wasn't you! Where's your sense of humour? You're not jocking anymore!"
"That's not true!!" Naomie defended.
"Oh yes it's the truth and you know it!" Becky said.
"Alright alright..." Naomie replied starting to cry softly. "Do I really have to tell you why?"
"Yes... cause I don't understand! I don't like to see you like this!"
"How can't you understand? You were the first to know my feelings for Nick!!"
"I know... but if it's hurting you that much to love him... why don't you stop?"
"It's not that simple! You can't ask your heart to stop loving someone! But it's not to love him that's hurting me...it's to see him hurt like this! I can see the pain in his eyes and it's killing me!" Naomie explained with a few tears falling on her cheeks.
"Shit!" Becky exclaimed putting an arm around her friend's shoulders. "You're really in love with him..."
"Yes I am...of course I love him! It's the first time I really feel love since...well..you know!"
"Yeah I know.." Becky replied sadly. "But what could help you to be yourself again?"
"To see Nick smiling sincerely...to see him happy again."
"I'm sure you'll be able to make him smile. You're the only who believes in him and today you made me realize that Brian had his part in the story. You're the first who realized that and I'm sure Nick is really grateful for this. And I'm sure it's not only because you love him but it's because you can see the truth in his eyes and who he really is inside of him."
"And he's not what you all think he is..."
"I know, I know.." Becky said standing up. "I'll go sleep now... if you need me I'm just in the next room... Good night!"
"Good night Beck!"
