*The Next Morning*
Nick yawned loudly as he opened his eyes. He felt the sun coming from the window on his skin. He thought for a second, trying to remember where he was. The event of the last day came into his mind and he heard the sound of walking in the kitchen. He sat on the couch with a little pain in his legs.
"Hey! You're up!" Becky smiled as she walked in the living room. "Too bad...I was about to wake you up by a glass of water in the face..." she jocked.
"Too bad.." Nick grinned.
"Do you need help to get up?" she asked seeing that he wasn't moving.
"Hum yeah i think so... just to stand up... after it will be okay..."
"Ok no problem..." she helped him to stand up and he walked slowly to the kitchen table and sat on one of the white chair.
"You're doing great!" she remarked.
"Thanks... It's almost normal...except that it hurts a little..." he smiled weakly.
"You'll soon be as you used to...I'm sure!"
"What time is it???" he asked.
"It's almost noon!" she replied pouring coffee in two cup.
"No one else is up??"
"Yes, Aj is in the shower and Mark...well he won't be up until 3 or 4 if we don't wake him up.." she laughed.
"I see ..." he smiled. Silence came over the two, both wanting to say something but too scared to ask. A minute or two passed by, in total silence, both to scared of the question or the answer of the other.
"She's leaving.." Becky finally said with a sad tone.
"Huh?" he said, even though he knew who she was talking about. But those word had rang something in his head. Leaving... what was with this word? Why did it mean something to him? That's when he remembered something... the garden... the white light... the presence of someone he couldn't see... I have to go now... Be strong... I don't know...it will depend of you... ... those word echoeing into his head. Becky was saying something but the only thing he was hearing was a conversation he could not remember with who. He thought harder... and then it clicked. His dream. He remembered now. His angel. It was her.. she was leaving now... she was going away. She could not... he needed her.
"Where??? When???" he shouted.
"What? ... she's going in California... her plane is in an hour... why??" Becky asked confused.
"She can't leave..." he said standing up and walking painfully to the couch.
"Why now? Why this suddent change of mind??" she asked, following him.
"You could not understand... please... give me a ride!!" he pleaded, putting his pants on.
"Where are you going?" Aj asked, entering in the room.
"The airport... fast..." Nick shouted walking up to him slowly.
"Why???"
"I'll explain to you on the way but we have to make it fast or I'll miss her.." he said with pleading eyes.
"Hum okay but... her plane is at 1pm...we'll never have time..." Aj wondered.
"Yes we will...hurry up!!" Nick almost screamed as he walked as fast as he could to the door, followed by Aj. He didn't mind about the pain, about the condition of his legs... he needed to go.
All the way to the airport, Nick kept staring out the window, tapping is fingers nervously. Aj was driving fast, hoping it would be enough fast so Nick could stop Naomie from leaving. Nick was totally lost in his thoughts when Becky asked him something.
"Yo Nick!" Aj called, seeing that he wasn't listening.
"Huh?!?"
"Becky talked to you..." he said.
"Oh sorry..what?"
"What happened? What made you change your mind?" she asked for a second time.
"It's hard to explain..." Nick replied, still gazing at the landscape passing by in front of him.
"Come on...what changed your mind? Look Nick, Nam is my bestfriend and I need to know what changed your mind..." Becky asked again, from the backseat of the car.
"And why's that?" Nick asked as he turned around to look at her.
"Because I don't want her to be hurt..." she replied with a serious look. Nick sighed.
"Let's say that... I realized that I need her..." he answered softly.
"Ok, I understand that and it's cool...But is there something that pushed you to realize it?" Aj demanded.
"I should have realized it way before..." Nick sighed. "But when you told me she was leaving...I had this strange feeling.."
"Nick, this is great, really but... "
"But what?!"
"But what are you gonna tell her?!" Becky asked.
"Listen...I know what I'm doing...I'll just tel her what I feel.." he replied.
"Ok...just be careful with what you say if you don't want her to leave forever...because I don't!"
"I don't either...believe me!" Nick said with a little smile.

"Thanx Ash! I really appreciate it!" Naomie said as she took her logages from the wagon.
"That's nothing Hon... "Ashley replied before to take a deep breath "....Listen...are you sure this is really what you wanna do?!?!"
"Ashley you asked the same question over a million times...Yes I am sure... I really need it!"
"Ok ok... but I don't understand..."Ashley whined
"There is nothing to understand!"Naomie giggled
"I mean... you haven't talked to Nick yet... What if he loves you.."
"Ashley Stop... It won't work.. I made my decision... and this is final!" Noamie told her.
"But what if he loves you and you go away and..."Ashley started
"He doesn't love me and it's ok... I respect his decision and I knew it before to fall in love with him anyway..."
"I don't know how you do to be that strong..."
"I'm not... I just try to be..."Naomie smiled brightly
"Honey I,m so sorry about all this!"ashley said as she hugged her friend thightly. She was so sad to see her go and hurt that much. She could see the pain in her eyes and knew that leaving like this wasn't really what Naomie really wanted.
"Don't be sorry... it's not your fault.. actually it's nobody's fault.."
"Well..."
"It's not.." Noamie told
"I'll miss you so damm much..."
"I'll miss you too... but hey.. you'll come see me and I'll come back..."Noamie said trying to smile
"yeah..."
"The passanger in direction of San Diego California are pray to go at the gate number 57"
"Well... I gotta go.."
"Yeah... Oh I'll miss you!"Ashley said hugging her friend one last time "You take Care.. you call me ...have fun... and forget about selfish Nicky!"
"I'll try... Bye and thanx again... don't forget to say goodbye from me to everybody!"
"I will... goodbye Honey!" Ashley looked her friend walking to gate 57 before to walk back to the parking
"Ashhhhhh!!Where is she????????"
"Nick??What are you doing here??!?!"
"Naomie.. where is she?!?! Ashley tell me for God's sake!"
"Gate number 57..."
"thanx..."Nick said trying to walk to faster he could
"Nicky?!?" She screamed after him
"Yes?!?!?!" He turned around
"If you hurt her... I swear to God you're a dead man..."
"I won't... I can't let her go.."he smiled before to 'run' to the gate 57 "Gate 57?!"He asked a young woman
"this way sir"she replied showing him the way
"Thanx" he reached the gate 57 and looked for Naomie... once he found her, she was about the get in the plane... tears were filling her eyes... he knew all of this was because of him... he was scared of hurting her by doing this.. but he couldn't let her go
"Naomie!!Nam!" He screamed after her, walking to her...his legs were hurting really bad but he didn't care... he had to reach her. She turned to him after a couple of second. When she saw him she couldn't move or speak she was out of words."there you are.."he smiled looking at her and how beautiful she was looking.
"Nick I got a plane to catch... I can't talk!"she said trying to not let the tears flow.. she showed him ticket airplane to the board man but Nick took the ticket and reached her arms. He pulled her out of the line "What are you doing?!"
"I can't let you go... Listen... I,ve been thinking about it... I really need you... maybe I'm selfish but I need you with me I can't let you go... I want you to stay... Nam I really need you... If I let you go I will make the biggest mistake of my life and I did so many mistakes in the past few month... I can't let that happen!"Nick explained with emotion.
"What are you trying to say?!... Nick I can't stay... I just can't..."
"You don't understand... I really... I... there's something I can't explain... but... what I can say... is that... I love you... I just... never realized it.... and I can't let you go... say you stay!"
"Wh...what??" tears were now falling down her cheeks... He just said the 3 words he had to say... was he really in love with her?... or was he only doing this 'cause he didn't want to hurt her?
"Naomie... I love you and If you go in that plane ,our lifes will never be as it used to be... it's just the way destuny works... I can't let you go.. If you go I go!"he smiled taking her fragile shaking hands
She couldn't believe it... she turned around to see Becky Aj and Ashley looking at them...she looked at Becky for her approuval. Becky shooked her head yes, telling her to stay and that everything would be okay... Nick really loved her. Naomie turned back to Nick and looked in his sweet blue eyes... she had dream of this day never thinking it would become reality.
"So what you say?You stay with me?"
"...I can't say no..."she said smilling...Nick smiled as he tooked her in his arms and kissed her with all his heart.
