This page is going to be all about Steps, and I will have factfiles and reviews of concerts etc. In the meantime here's a pic of the fab....STEPS!

Here is a great review from Nicki!!

I went to see Steps on the 5th of November, it was a steptacular show and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!

Steps entered from the back in carnival outfits and came up the aisles. They performed Love's Got a Hold on My Heart, with H trying to pinch the girls bums through the whole song, and Faye trying to kick him in the middle of the dance routine! They really embarrassed Lisa because as it was her birthday the rest of Steps thought it would be a good idea to get the WHOLE OF WEMBLEY ARENA(!) to sing her Happy Birthday! They then performed Last Thing on my Mind, and the beautiful ballad When I Said Goodbye with Claire and H doing lead vocals. They followed this with After the Love Has Gone, with Chinese banners and lions. We then became members of the space fleet and went aboard their spaceship(!) The set was changed to a spacey scene, Steps disappeared for a quick costume change and reappeared in a space buggy to perform Deeper Shade of Blue with fab silver costumes. H sat behind Claire putting his fingers up behind her head, and making sure that you could see it on the big screens. But then Claire sat behind H and did the same back to him! Lisa, H, Claire, and Faye then left the stage for Lee to perform his solo We're Gonna Have A Party written especially for the tour. This was followed by Faye's solo Since You Took You Love Away, which she sung really well. The whole of Steps came back on to perform Heartbeat, then went off for another costume change.

While they were off stage, the scenery changed again to a nice summer garden, and they came on to perform One for Sorrow with microphones covered in sunflowers. They then proceded to have a go at H because it was his idea to go to a “boring“ garden which had nothing to do and left him on stage on his own! He thought he would do “magic“ and produce a swing - with the audience's help. In doing this he also started the music for his solo, Careless Whisper. Claire came on and sung her solo, I think it's Love and finished her song sat on the swing which was a great place for the rest of the band to come back on and “surprise“ her.

H decided he was in the mood for dancing and did the dance moves for Better Best Forgotten as an introduction to their Better Best Forgotten/5,6,7,8 medley. Then came one of my favourite songs of the whole concert, Lisa's solo, Just Like the First Time, a brilliant up-tempo song, followed with Say You'll Be Mine with a lovely demonstration of the dance moves(!), Better the Devil You Know and ending the concert with the discotastic Tragedy.

I had a massive banner which got H's attention, he waved and stuck his tongue out at me. On my banner it said Happy Birthday Lisa! and Lisa saw it and said thank you. I went to see this concert again on the 27th (THANKS CAT!) and I thought it was fantastic even the second time round.
