It's beginning to look like a house!!
Sheathing and interior walls are in place...windows, tubs and showers are installed
and roof is prepared for shingles.

Roof is shingled, windows and exterior doors
are installed, underground lines have been run,
wiring for electricity, cable and phone is done
and the plumber is at work.

Siding and a few shutters are installed,
concrete was poured in garage and on front porch.

August 4, 2001
Walls are insulated and garage doors are installed.

Concrete driveway has been poured and drywall is underway.

August 19-September 2, 2001
Gable vent, remaining shutters, porch and concrete walk are installed,
and basement floor was poured.

Interior woodwork is being installed,
cabinets are put in place, mantel and black marble are installed on fireplace.

September 12, 2001
Partial flooring is installed, painting is complete (finally!!), appliances are delivered,
lights, plumbing fixtures, furnace and hot water heater are installed.
We'll be moving in by the end of the month!           .

September 16, 2001
Carpet, air condition unit, all outlets (elec., phone & cable) and bathroom mirrors are installed.
2 weeks to go!!!

Getting the finishing touches done.
Move-in scheduled for October 1st !!!!

October 1, 2001
We finally made it....today is moving day!
I now have the "joy" of unpacking and deciding
what's going where :-)

Personal Note:
I would like to thank you all for sharing this experience with us from
the groundbreaking through moving day.  It has been a fun
time for the most part, but, of course, it wasn't without
a few headaches too!!
